About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. My priority is to listen and adapt to each client’s needs/preferences, so that both the client and their pets will be as happy as possible.

“Pam was amazing staying in our home with our Cece (Cavalier King Charles) overnight this weekend. We rarely leave Cece as she goes everywhere with us. Pam came for a meet and greet the week prior to our date, showed up a little early and that gave us time to go over anything either of us needed to, texted us pictures of Cece, and left the house tidy and locked up. Cece clearly loved Pam upon meeting her and was very excited when she returned the following week. Pam is a confident, professional, warm person and we will hopefully be able to have her back the next time we need Cece taken care of.”

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on professional dog care experience working in dog daycares, boarding kennels, and grooming facilities in both Colorado and New York. I’ve managed large daycare playgroups of 15–20 dogs, monitored interactions, redirected rough play, and maintained calm, structured environments. One of our daily staff challenges involved having an entire group line up and hold a sit at the same time—something I was proud to accomplish more than once. I also worked at a boarding and grooming kennel in Durango, CO owned by a competitive dog-show handler with extremely high standards. Because staff was small, I gained extensive one-on-one experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including nail trims (even nervous dogs), coat-specific brushing, ear and dental care, bathing, drying, and boarding routines. I also handled front-desk responsibilities, scheduling, and check-ins. At home, I live with two very friendly dogs of my own—Cooper, a beagle, and Tucker, an Australian Shepherd–beagle mix. They are social, affectionate, and almost always carrying a ball around the house. We play daily enrichment games such as hide-and-seek: I’ll have them wait in another room while I hide their balls or bedtime treats, and when I let them out, them they make a mad dash to look for them. It’s one of their favorite parts of the day and a fun way to keep them moving and engaged when it's too cold outside or when I'm doing things around the house. Our home is fully set up for boarding with a large fenced-in backyard for safe outdoor play, plus a dedicated dog-care nook stocked with harnesses, leashes, winter jackets, brushes, and treats. Living with my own dogs full-time means I’m experienced with routines, energy management, introductions, and helping new pups feel comfortable quickly. Cooper and Tucker enjoy meeting new friends, and I carefully supervise all group play. What truly drives me is how much joy dogs bring into everyday life, which is why I chose to follow that passion into my career. Being around happy, healthy dogs is contagious in the best way, and creating an environment where they feel safe, loved, and excited to be here is what I aim for every day. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with three schnauzers and have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds.
