About: I’ve always felt a special connection to animals and I love spending time with them. I grew up with 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits, so I’m comfortable around lots of different animals! I accept pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages, and my top priority is caring for your pet and keeping them healthy and happy! I have a part-time job where I work in the afternoons, so I’m really able to be flexible in when I care for pets! I would be able to work with you and your dog for whatever works best for the both of us! About: I've been taking care of animals since 7th grade. My family had their own dog and I used to care for animals around the neighborhood including cats and other animals. I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. I work as a teaching assistant full time and school gets out at 2:15 so I have plenty of time in the afternoon most days and could always take time off if needed for a long weekend. Plus school breaks I have plenty of time. I live in an apartment that has small dog parks outside. I'm very comfortable with letting dogs out in fenced in areas and taking them on leash for walks.

“Our three dogs with very different needs can be a lot to manage (a rambunctious 18 month old, a five year old, and an elder dog in significant decline), and Adriana took great care of all of them simultaneously. She asks the right questions and communicates clearly and quickly to resolve anything that comes up. We could not be happier with how she works with us and cares for Maddie, Olaf, and Otter.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week. I work 8-4 Monday through Thursday at a local farm collective in Kirkville and a community garden in South Syracuse. In my free time, I enjoy making art in all kinds of media and being outside. I am looking to spend my time with animals and make their lives happy and bright! Trust and safety is my utmost priority. Through many years of being around different animals, I learned the important of an initial bond based in trust and respect. I hold myself with strength and create an energy of a safe and inviting environment. I am able to gauge an animal’s personality and demeanor, and adjust accordingly. For pets that love to play, I am always happy to bring out my goofy and fun-loving side. For more reserved companions, I enjoy taking things slow and doing calmer activities. Most of all, a pet’s joy and comfort is my number one goal!

“Mackenzie is a wonderful dog sitter. Our dog Nugget is very attached to his family. He gets quite anxious when we’re preparing for vacation and then again as the week progresses. MacKenzie stayed in our home; a first for us as Rover customers. She respected our home to the point where we could hardly tell she spent the week. Nugget was completely calm with MacKenzie. In fact he seemed to be looking for her our first morning back. She truly is a dog whisperer. We highly recommend MacKenzie and look forward to having her again. About: I grew up with two cats, so I love cats as well as dogs. In 2019, I adopted an incredibly loving, gorgeous lab pit named Lucy, and she keeps me very active every day! She was a rescue dog, and although we were originally fostering her, I bonded with her too much to let her go. I’ve always been a natural introvert and have been drawn to the compassion of animals. I believe we can learn more about our own humanity through caring for animals. I look forward to meeting your amazing furry friends! In addition to Rover, I substitute teach right now, and this allows me to have a very flexible schedule. It's closer to part-time than full-time. My priority is to listen and adapt to each client’s needs/preferences, so that both the client and their pets will be as happy as possible.

About: I've been working with animals since I was little. I've worked with all sizes of dogs and also have taken care of cats. I've watched senior pets and pets with specific health needs. I also have a formal education in animal behavior as a nice added bonus! I'm currently working part time during the summers and I'm in college the rest of the year. I have plenty of free time to watch your cats. I can do drop in/walks during the week and if you're pet is okay alone more than 4 hours I can also pet sit during the week. I can dog sit any weekend. I only do dog sitting as my home isn't suitable for boarding. I do however reliable transportation and can watch your pet at your home. I also maintain plants and some smaller reptiles/amphibians so I can help keep your house in order while you're away.

About: I’ve had cats since 2018 and got Lincoln my dog during the 2020 year. He and I went on many trips including up five mountains. I am openly available, especially on weekends. Weekdays work the best for me especially in afternoons and evenings. As I am on break from school my schedule is open. I have a fenced in yard and live on a cul de sac allowing for dogs to have safe supervised environment to play and relax. Cats are kept inside and can be moved if necessary.

About: I have been a pet care provider for 16 years. I love all dogs and enjoy being with them. I am good with puppies and training. I received my certificate as end of life pet doula in 2024. I adore the senior dogs. The only type of work I do involves pet care. I can come to your home and take care of your fur babies. I love them all! I will take the best care of your dogs and see that they are always loved and feel safe with me. I strive to make this an enjoyable experience for them and me!
