About: I love dogs and I have had pets for almost my whole life! I am available to care for your pet in my home while you are away. I am also available to drop in or walk your dogs. I have two dogs of my own who are well behaved and love to play with other pups. Your dog will have a safe place to stay and will get plenty of love and attention. I work full time, however, I am able to go home throughout the day. My dogs take medication so I am comfortable with giving meds if needed! My townhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of places to take dogs for a walk. I have a small backyard as well and woods behind my house.

About: I’ve had 9 years of pet care experience, starting from when I was only 9 years old. I started my own neighborhood business. I walked dogs, fed cats, and occasionally kept them overnight. I’m a first-year student at Boston University studying pre-health, and hope to one day become a veterinarian. I also volunteered at a dog shelter for two years! I’m a full time student at Boston University, but have easy access to public transportation and a car so I can get places easily. I’m taking a light course load throughout the week and am also free on the weekends. I make sure to give my dog lots of walks and exercise and love!! I’m extremely good at reading animal body language, so I will do everything possible to make sure your pets feel comfortable and loved. I will also be very communicative with clients and make sure you are always up to date about your pets well-being.

“Ava was amazing! Came by multiple times in a day for walks and to give my pup some love and attention. Friendly, communicative, and sent great pics!”

About: I’ve been watching and taking care of dogs since I was 14 years old. Neighbors and friends have asked me to watch, feed, and take care of their dogs for years. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they have been in my life since I was 7 years old. I’m currently a Junior at the College of Charleston, and with a light schedule I’ll be able to spend plenty of time with your pets! Monday, Wednesday, and Friday my classes end at noon and Tuesdays and Thursdays my classes end 11am. I am also available on the weekends! Before I come to watch your pet I’d love to hear a little bit about them and run over your pets routine including feeding, walking, and any other routine you and your pet may have! I spend the majority of my time in your home with the occasional times I have to run out to do some errands and attend class. If there are no special instructions on walks, each dog gets 2 walks a day and are let out multiple times during the day. I make sure each dog gets ample play time each day!

“Quick response and Gracie Mae seemed very content when I arrived back home. Thank you so much for your love and care and will be utilizing your services again soon.”

“Suzy is wonderful! She is always quick to respond, and leaves great report card updates/pictures with each walk. She is great with our puppy and gives us peace of mind knowing he is getting good play time and walks while we are at work - and he loves his visits with her! We will definitely continue to use Suzy, and would highly recommend her.”

About: I have had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, birds, ducks, hamsters, rabbits, turtles and lizards. As kids, my parents taught us that we should always feed our pets before ourselves because they are not capable of feeding themselves. As an adult I appreciate and admire that perspective, and try to instill the same values in my children. My 3 kids ages 12,14 and 16 love animals and take a lot of responsibility for caring for our pets. We will only take one dog at a time in our home (unless they are from the same family), so your pup will always get lots of love and attention. I love all animals, including reptiles and snakes, and I cannot resist saying hello to any dog I see anywhere I go! I work during the day but am available nights and weekends. As a teacher, I am also available during school breaks and in the summer. I have a very friendly 2 year old dog who loves to play with other dogs. Dogs will be kept in the main living area during the day, and can be crated as needed. In the clients home I will follow whatever routine your pet is used to.

About: Cats and dogs have always been apart of my life, I grew up in the country with rescue cats, labs and golden retriever’s on 12 acres of land. My family (husband and 10 year old) have been trained and educated on the necessary care for animals as I’ve been a Dog Groomer for 12 years now owning and operating my own business and having their assistance when needed. No pet is too much for us to handle even with medication or dietary restrictions we a happy to do anything we can to make sure your furry family member enjoys their time with us safely and happily. We life an active lifestyle so walks, park play, and beach days are all fun activities we enjoy. I’ve worked with dogs my entire life, from dog sitting and walking to my career for the last 12 years being a Dog Groomer. I work for myself and make my own schedule ensuring I can meet the needs of any dog in my care. The neighborhood I live in is perfect for walking as well as having 24 hour access to multiple dog parks. I love spending time outside running around with my pup as well as snuggles on the couch too. Quincy loves company to play with and we always love extra pup snuggles as well. Very accommodating for young and old pets, we are very used to the dog foot traffic with my grooming career.

About: I am a retired Police Officer who has a lot of experience as a K-9 handler. I love all dogs and able to respond to their individual personalities. Some need a gentle hand and some need some hard play time. Either way, I am ready to meet you and your dog's needs. Best of all, I am someone you will not have to worry about being in and around your home- I have had an active security clearance in the military for 30 years and just retired from 20 years in law enforcement. Why I love dog sitting We have had dogs all our lives. I was a dog handler as a police officer. My first dog was a German Shepherd who was great at obedience and search and rescue. We both worked at ground zero searching for survivors in NY for 9 straight days. Me and Hero were together for 9 years. I later had an explosive detection K9 and we worked at the airport for 3 years. Atros, who is also a German Shepherd, is still working in airports now that I am retired. My experience administering medication I have had two huge German Shepherd working dogs that both had to have medication throughout their careers. One was easy, and one was difficult. They both received their medications safely.

About: I've had a dog thru every stage of my life,5 total. At this point I have one of my own and two I watch for my kids. I have house trained 4 of those dogs and taken care of two of them thru old age. I have watched numerous dogs over the years for friends and family. I recently retired from owning a CrossFit gym so I am in shape to walk and play with your dog(s). Prior to the Gym I was a Police Officer for 27 years and always managed to fit pet play and care time into my schedule. I will walk the dog(s) to your requirements. I can walk them on the street, parks or wooded areas. With this heat I will always make sure water is available for them. Your only worry will be if your dog will start to like me better ; )

Samantha K.
“Samantha is one of the best pet caregivers you can find, she is very adaptable and independent. I have never seen an animal she won't get along with, no matter the kind or the behavior she will somehow make them love her. Whenever she goes into an environment she makes something good of it and leaves the place cleaner than left! She is very responsible and makes the most rational decisions. Samantha will love on the animals, keep them active, and care for them to the full extent. I could go on and on about her but if you want your animals to be happy and healthy I would definitely recommend hiring Samantha for your next pet-sitting need.”

“We can't say enough wonderful things about Katie! She has been an absolutely incredible pet sitter and walker for our 6-year-old golden retriever, Sailor. From the very beginning, Katie showed such warmth, responsibility, and a true love for animals that put us completely at ease. Not only does Katie give Sailor plenty of exercise, but she also takes time to play with her and make sure she mentally stimulated and happy. It’s clear she truly enjoys her time with Sailor, and the feeling is definitely mutual. Katie is also incredibly reliable and attentive when it comes to feeding and overall care. She follows instructions to the letter and always checks in with updates and sweet photos that give us peace of mind when we’re away. We feel so lucky to have found Katie. She’s kind, trustworthy, and treats Sailor like one of her own. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family member!”

Breanna T.
“Bre is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of our fur babies! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our pets! Not only did she make our pets feel comfortable, she also made us feel comfortable leaving them with her. When we came home after our weekend away our pets were relaxed and happy. Every time we need a pet sitter or walker during the busier times we always reach out to Bre and wouldn’t want to leave our pets in the care of anyone else but her!”

Whitehall Terrace dog parents share their Rover experiences
Maya is always super quick to respond and gives great notes on her Rover cards about the walks! Very reliable and prompt as well.

So happy with our first time using rover! Caitlyn was very great and gave us a very detailed update on how our puppy did! Olive was all tail wags and puppy kisses when we got home, will definitely be using her again!

Ina was professional and conscientious. She came to meet Nelly before their first interaction, and showed genuine care for her caregiving role. She communicated often, sent pictures, and ensured Nelly was comfortable while we were away. I highly recommend Ina.
