“Madalyn did a great job watching my 2 cats at my house for 5 days. I loved the photo updates showing my shy guy gradually coming out of his shell for her, and she kept my mischievous chewer girl from destroying anything while I was away. And I came back to a house just as clean as I left it, which is always a nice bonus too. The next time I need to be out of town I'll definitely be reaching out to Madalyn first!”

“Bethany took excellent care of my cats while I was out of town for a week, and her daily updates helped me to feel better about being away from them. She even befriended one of my cats that is nervous/hesitant around new people!”

About: I am looking to provide love and care to your fur babies when you aren’t able to. I have two fur babies of my own currently and have had many in the past. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all different shapes and sizes! I look forward to meeting your fur babies and caring for them like my own. I work as a bus driver so between my morning and evening run I have plenty of time to make stop ins and check on pet and/or take them for a walk. My partner works from home which provides a flexible schedule. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to care for your pets in my home due to our young children. However, your pets safety and comfort will be a top priority for me when coming into your home to care for them.

“Deana was wonderful with my cat. She look very good care of him while I was away and gave daily updates with pictures so I knew he was happy and healthy. I would very happily use her services again.”

About: Hi! My name is Candace and I have had a passion for helping animals for as long as I can remember. I live in a farm with plenty of space for your fur baby to stretch their legs. I have multiple walking trails and also an indoor turfed play area. I have built in indoor kennels for your overnight boarding needs and I only take a handful of pets at a time to allow ample time for exercise and lovins. If your dog is more comfortable with a free roaming indoor situation that is an option on a case by case basis. I also offer dog walking, cat care and house/pet sitting in your home when available! Do not hesitate to reach out. Pet care is my full time gig here on my farm so I have a very flexible schedule. I like to stay very active and available to pets! I have a lot of space here on my farm to allow for group play or if you have a pet that prefers their space that is totally fine too. They can have their very own space and be exercised alone. Group play will be available only to those that are non aggressive and is determined on a case by case basis. Any time a dog is not in an enclose area they are kept on a leash in hand at all times. Their safety is my very first concern. Do not hesitate to reach out to ask about any special needs your pet might have and what I could do to accommodate them.

“This is our 2nd time booking with Tracie and she is fantastic! Our cat Bella was extremely well taken care of. We know we can trust Tracie with our pet care needs anytime we are away.”

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and have always been able to bond with animals, probably better than I bond with most humans! I’ve always looked out for family and friends’ pets when needed and I also love to volunteer with animal shelters when I can! Pets are family and I will always treat the pets I look after like my own, they all deserve to feel safe and loved! I’m comfortable with animals of all ages, all energy levels (just give me a heads up!) and all personalities. I can administer topical or oral medication if needed, just give me some specific instructions on how your pet does best with that process and we will make it happen! As an owner of two dogs with big personalities, I totally understand having specific ways to do things and fitting their specific needs, so you can always communicate with me any specific needs/quirks/or just general info that would make the experience better for your pet and for you trusting me with them! I currently am working two part time jobs as I am transitioning from being on active duty military orders, my work schedule is not consistently the same, which is why I don’t have weekly care currently available on my profile. I’m more than happy to work with you if you need your pets walked or checked on any days at specific times! I absolutely love animals and am happy to help work around both of our schedules to make sure your pet gets the care they need! I treat every pet as if they’re my own! I understand that pets are part of our families and they deserve to be treated with kindness, love and dignity! I’m comfortable with drop-in’s with instructions on how to approach your pets and any general house rules or preferences you have; I’ve done drop in visits for friends and family for years and will always be sure your pet has had whatever care they need before I head out!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have four large dogs – three of my own and one foster. I also volunteer with local animal rescues and spend many Fridays at the Dog Pound, giving all the animals love, walks, vaccinations, and sometimes even a trip to my home (I’m always joking that I’m one dog away from a divorce – but he knew what he was getting into!) Joining the Rover community lets me share my passion for caring with other pet owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members, and I’m here to provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I’ll make sure they’re happy, well cared for, and keep you updated with plenty of pictures to give you peace of mind! I’m currently staying home with my babies so I will have plenty of time to love yours! Don’t be afraid to ask about my schedule! I have a full fenced in yard. Two of my dogs are inside. One roams freely during the day with a doggy door to the outside fenced in yard. One is kenneled during the day. Both are kenneled at night. One is outside full time (unless it’s freezing cold and I have to force him inside). I also have one large kennel outside where my foster dog stays most of the time. All dogs are up to date on vaccines and receive monthly flea tick and heart guard meds. As for your home, I’m up for a meet and greet depending on what you need!

“Jeremy was awesome! He followed the directions we left, he was always very timely , and the animals seemed to love him! We would definitely have him back to take care of our babies in the future!”

“Lena took very good care of my kitty who gets very sad and lonely if we are out of town for long. Oftentimes he has lost weight and yowls pitiously when we return. This time, he looked very healthy and happy, clearly having received plenty of TLC from Lena. Lena sent us pictures showing our kitty lounging with her on the bed and hanging out with her in the yard. She did a great job keeping up with his twice daily medication as well. Lena’s a gem! We will definitely book her again!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of the girls this week. We will be going to Puerto Rico June 18-25 (all of us) and we could use you again if you’re available on those dates!”

About: I am trained in CPR for cats & dogs. I have been around animals my whole life, and have grown up with multiple veterinarians in the family. I am the kind of human who pulls off to the side of the road when they see a bag or box to make sure there isn’t an animal(s) inside. I have 2 cats of own! A three year old tortoiseshell named Whiskee Sour and a 2year old mixed breed white kitty named Sweet Purrlot (like Merlot). And no, I do not drink LOL. I had roommates with both cats & dogs when I lived in my college town and I pet sit for them frequently. I am happy to service families with any type of fur-baby. They are all loved by me! I just finished my 5th semester at WVU and have the entire summer off (until the beginning of September)! I only have 2 trips planned (one at the end of May and another at the end of July) thus far this summer. I am very flexible with my time. I am great at following any instructions and warnings you give me when going into your home- I prefer crystal clear instructions on what to do and how to handle your babies. I want to give them the best care possible!

I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet gets great care! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced-in yard, a pet-friendly home, two gentle kids, a sweet dog, and a calm cat. Pets are treated like family here!

About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of animals and would be called many peoples go-to animal watcher when they go out of town! I also am training an ESA animal! I will follow all instructions from the owner and make sure they get updates on their furry friend! I will crate them when I leave the home if that’s what you want and will make sure they have pottied before I leave your home.

Morgan N.
“Morgan has taken care of my very hyper golden doodle Ollie for a week at a time multiple times now and he always loves when she’s around. She takes him out to the park to play and make sure no other dogs are too rough and sends videos of how much fun he’s having. He can play fetch all day and not be tired and she makes sure that he gets his fix. He also loves to swim and she even sets up his little kiddie pool to allow him to splash around and she dries him off and brushes out his tangled fur. I always trust Morgan when I’m away for work with my Ollie boy.”

Sheridan N.
“Sheridan was one of the best dog sitters I’ve ever had. She really cares about the animals and it shows. She sent me pictures everyday and text me to let me know how my fur babies were doing. Sheridan went up and beyond what I asked of her. I felt completely comfortable with them being in her care. I always stress when I’m away but she made sure to keep in contact with me and she made sure to abide by my dogs routines. I will definitely be using her again. My dogs didn’t even want to come home!!”
