About: My parents still love telling the story of when they told me I was going to have a baby brother. I looked them straight in the face and said, “I don’t want a human, I want a puppy!” Safe to say not long after, I got my very first dog, Bella, when I was four years old. From that moment on, Bella was my best friend. We grew up together, and wherever I went, she was right beside me. She taught me what unconditional love, patience, and responsibility look like. After an incredible 15 years together, I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl, but the love she gave me is the reason I care so deeply about every pet I meet. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s keeping up with an energetic puppy, sticking to a senior dog’s routine, or simply making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were part of my own family. Before caring for your pet, I’ll make sure I understand their schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, medications (if any), favorite toys, and any quirks or preferences they have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I’ll provide plenty of love, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and attention while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. If your pet stays in my home, they’ll have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they’ll receive lots of attention and affection. About: I’ve lived on a farm my whole life and have cared for about every creature under the sun! I love all animals big and small! I’m not afraid to work hard and get dirty so your pet is comfortable, loved, and cared for properly! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, when we adopted a stray that was pregnant. Throughout Sweetie’s pregnancy, birthing, and weening, and our raising of her puppy Zorro, my mom taught me all about dogs, since her dad used to breed pugs and cavalier King Charles spaniels. Before Sweetie came to us, I had been wanting another dog, as our previous golden retriever, Jasmine, had been stolen. So, my mom bought me several books on all the different dog breeds, so I could educate myself on what to expect and what I wanted when we got our next dog. I learned so much throughout this time, and have only continued my education and experience with dogs. I love dogs so much that sometimes it feels like my heart is going to explode out of my chest. Every dog I meet, no matter how old, will always be a puppy to me. I sometimes think that the closest we will ever get to experiencing a physical manifestation of the love of God, is the love dogs have for us.
