About: PLEASE READ: I currently work in McMinnville so while I am able to pet sit, unless you live within 15 minutes of McMinnville, I will be unable to let animals out in the middle of the day. I've been caring for friends and family's pets for 6 years. I like keeping our furry friends on their schedule and company while loved ones are away. I'm comfortable giving medication and taking care of senior pets. I'm detail oriented and am happy to give status updated as needed. I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they were one of mine. I currently work full time so while I am able to pet sit and do walks, it would need to be close enough to do on my hour lunch break., Currently I prefer to care for pets at their own home, as I feel that being in the same environment helps being with a new person

Astrid is an absolute dream out there. My cat, Mewbert, is a cranky old lady to visitors :) and Astrid broke through to her and provided all the care Mewbert needed. I highly recommend Astrid and will for sure be booking her again.

Ana accepted our request last minute and did a great job with our cats. She went above and beyond and even did an extra checkin with them and watered my plants. She even cleaned up after their mess which we didn’t require at all. I would definitely book Ana again for future visits!

Maleny has done two drop in visits for me so far and she has been great. Super punctual even though the time is not that important to me. Takes lots of pictures and gives me great updates. She provides a lot of peace of mind to me when I’m gone at work for long days. Grateful for her service!

About: I am extremely detailed oriented and very observant. I sense when animals need something different and will always tend to their needs first over anything. I can chill with them or play forever and anything in between. I work 5-6 days a week with and average of 6 hours a day. My schedule is pretty set to only working mornings and being off work around 11am to 12:30pm. After that I am free and available! I am more than able to be in your home and you never question that I was there. I leave places cleaner than what I found them and make sure all the boxes were checked that are expected of me.

Javier is a positive and gentle person to have around my old dog. He has been patient with him and has gone over and above with caring for him while I’m a way I appreciated the time he spent with me to help my dog be more comfortable with him. (My dog had a recent trauma.) I recommend him highly.

Malie was amazing with our siberian husky! She was great with communication and reached out with each drop in. Our husky has a lot of personality, and several medications. Malie made it simple, and took great care of her! Malie was great at respecting Koda's cues, playing when she wanted to play, but also giving Koda space when she wanted it. We will be booking again with Malie very soon.

Jamie took great care of our three cats while we were away. She kept us updated daily and, when our indoor/outdoor cat didn't show up for feeding time, she made sure there was food accessible outside. Our cats really seemed to enjoy spending time with her.

I cannot say enough great things about Stephanie! She has been doing check-ins for our two dogs, Dave and Waffles, and we I'm so grateful to have found her. From the start, Stephanie has been incredibly communicative and quick to respond — which as a pet parent means everything. She consistently sends photos and updates that genuinely put our minds at ease while we are away. You can see just how happy Dave and Waffles are in every single picture, and that says it all. She is trustworthy, reliable, and it is clear she truly cares about the dogs in her care. Our pups absolutely adore her and I would not hesitate to book with her again. If you are looking for someone who will treat your fur babies like her own, look no further than Stephanie — she is the best!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for family pets, including our two Chihuahuas and my sister’s Labrador. I’ve also spent time around cats through friends and roommates. I enjoy walking dogs, playing with pets, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. My background as a supervisor and coach has taught me responsibility, communication, and consistency, and I bring those same qualities to pet care. I’m comfortable with feeding, administering basic medications, playtime, companionship, and keeping owners updated with pictures and messages. I have a flexible schedule throughout most of the day. My mornings and evenings are typically spent coaching rugby and working out, but outside of those times I have plenty of availability for dog walks, drop in visits, cat care, and house sitting. I enjoy staying active and love spending time with animals, whether that means going for a walk, playing, or simply providing companionship and care while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and a safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from owners. I prioritize safety by keeping dogs leashed during walks, making sure doors and gates are secure, and paying attention to each pet’s comfort and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for caring for them. In 2019, I had the opportunity to raise my own cat after he was left behind by his mother, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for a kitten from a very young age. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to both a senior cat and a playful kitten, giving me experience with pets at different stages of life. I also have experience caring for small- and medium-sized dogs and understand the importance of providing them with exercise, attention, and companionship. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I work full-time and am available Sundays and Mondays to provide loving, dependable care. Because caring for animals is already built into my daily routine, I can easily make time to provide reliable, attentive care for other pets as well. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions. I provide a safe, calm environment, plenty of attention, and regular updates to pet parents.

About: Hi! I'm Shealee, and I've always had a heart for animals. I've been around animals for most of my life, and my love for caring for them eventually led me to work as an Animal Care Attendant at an animal hospital that offered hospital care, daycare, and boarding services. In that role, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. My responsibilities included preparing meals, taking pets on potty breaks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supervising daycare playgroups, and caring for boarding pets while closely monitoring their health, behavior, and comfort. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, and adaptability are because every pet has unique needs. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and my goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'll care for them with patience, kindness, and lots of love. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I am currently working two part-time jobs, and as I transition out of one of them, my schedule will mainly be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, I am free any time in the morning up until 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. As a prior ACA, your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I maintain clean spaces, follow detailed care instructions, and communicate consistently to ensure peace of mind.

About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. It’s important that all animals feel safe and respected around me. I’m not easily startled by reactive animals, all it takes is a little time to grow comfort.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. Thank you, Mickenzie!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 1,210 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wheatland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wheatland. On Rover:

  • 99% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
