“Tawna and John did an excellent job watching my very anxious pup. I went out of town very last minute for three weeks, and they took great care of him and his special needs. They were very flexible about what worked best for Tazz and were aware of dog behaviors. I felt confident that he would be in great hands and was shocked at all the photos I received of Tazz hanging out with other dogs as calm as can be! Great people and great space for dogs of all needs!”

“Diana cared for our 16 yr dog for a week. She is an excellent communicator and professional. Her home has plenty of outdoor space for him to roam free. She sent regular updates and pictures. She also is a groomer. Our pup is afraid of anyone who tries to groom him and hates water. Despite these obstacles she managed to give him a nice trim. I highly recommend Diana and will certainly hire her again!”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Angelica and Bruce were lovely and looked after Sadie with exceptional care - not sure my dog wanted to come home! They have a well-thought care plan, sent updates, and easily adjusted to my schedule. Sadie’s new home away from home!”

“Christina is communicative, flexible, and caring. Our dog was feeling a bit nervous in a new environment and Christina did her best to support our dog while we were away. When we picked up our dog she was happy and healthy! Thank you, Christina!”

“She took wonderful care of my dog, who can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, and handled her with patience and kindness. I received many photos showing my dog happy, comfortable, and enjoying time with her loving family, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear my dog was being treated like part of the family, not just being watched. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to care for their pet.”

“Danielle really came through for me at the last minute, I'm so grateful! She was very kind and attentive with my dog, Esther, sending adorable pics and updates. Esther is an anxious girl, but she seemed to relax in Danielle's home, it really put me at ease. Thank you again!”

“This was our first time leaving our pup with anyone. Nicole put us at eaze when we had our meet and greet. We felt at eaze the entire time we were gone. Its nice to know we have someone we can trust to leave our pup with if we have to go away!!”

“I was traveling to the area for work and worried about leaving my pup with a sitter, but Gayle immediately made me feel comfortable that he would be in good hands. She has a great home set up and is very attentive and sent lots of updates. Bucky had a blast!”

“I left my 7 month old puppy for a few days and it was our first time of being separated. I was so nervous to leave him but Christina made me feel very comfortable of leaving him in her hands. And he was also comfortable staying with her. She kept me posted of how he was doing and took very good care of him. I highly recommend Christina. I would definitely use her again to watch my fur baby in the future!”

“You will not find more attentive and caring hosts than Dan and Dave! Our very anxious older dog was quickly at home with them and their sweet chihuahua, Hoss. Our Maisie was walked twice a day and I was sent pictures and updates each day. I couldn't recommend them more highly! They are wonderful pet hosts!!”

“Lucy had a great time and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in loving hands ❤️ they were also very understanding and flexible! Will definitely book with them again!”

“Isamar and Caleb took Ripley in on short notice and over the holidays, which was a huge relief. On top of that they were fantastic sitters making sure our dog was as comfortable in their home as she was ours. We received daily pictures and updates. I would highly recommend their services and hope to book them again myself.”

“Lyssette kept me updated with pictures and video my whole trip. We used her our first time using rover and she did a wonderful job and my dog was very happy when she got home. We used to take my dog to boarding places but after it made her super sick last time we decided to try out rover and I’m glad we did because it was a very good experience.”

“Rebooked with Tania, it's such a nice feeling when you can leave your pet with somebody and know that they will have a good experience and will be loved and taken care of. I hope she never moves or leaves because I don't know what I would do!! LOL!! And Nala had a new bestie not only with her pup but with Tania. Thank you again for watching our baby girl Nala. I cannot recommend her enough”

“The best pet sitters!!!! So much love and attention given to my fur baby! 🩷 The updates and photos sent to me give me such comfort and joy. I would recommend Juliann and her family to all! 🌸🩷”

“I would highly recommend Astrid as a sitter! Astrid recently checked on my cat during my week long vacation and was very communicative, detailed, and responsive. Each rover card had pics and a message that helped convey how my cat was doing. Also, when I returned home, my cat was visibly more calm than usual!”

“Jamie did drop in visits for our cat and was great. She took care of all his needs and played with him and gave him lots of pets. She was super nice and our cat who is scared of most people was comfortable with her. She was always right on time for every check in and was great with communication and photos .”

“We are glad we chose to have Heather care for our senior kitty this past weekend. Her approach to offering services through Rover was very professional. She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart. In 2019, I raised my own cat from just a few weeks old after his mother left him behind, which gave me firsthand experience caring for a very young kitten and understanding the attention and patience they require. Today, I’m a mom of a happy 11-year-old senior cat, and I recently welcomed a new kitten into my family as well. Being the pet parent of both a senior cat and a young kitten has given me experience with cats at different stages of life, from playful and energetic kittens to older cats with established routines and unique needs. I love building trust with cats and have always felt a strong connection with them. Whether your cat enjoys playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm and caring presence around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away

“Maleny was a champ! One of our kitties didn’t do so well with us being gone so long and Maleny went above and beyond for us to make sure things were taken care of—even coming an extra day just to help more. I would hire her again if I needed her.”

“Javier is a positive and gentle person to have around my old dog. He has been patient with him and has gone over and above with caring for him while I’m a way I appreciated the time he spent with me to help my dog be more comfortable with him. (My dog had a recent trauma.) I recommend him highly.”

“Ana accepted our request last minute and did a great job with our cats. She went above and beyond and even did an extra checkin with them and watered my plants. She even cleaned up after their mess which we didn’t require at all. I would definitely book Ana again for future visits!”

About: I had a reactive dog who was not a fan of other dogs or animals so I know how to avoid other pets on walks to keep everyone safe and happy. I am responsible and have a lot of free time to give your pets the time and attention they need. I just recently had to put my dog down so I am looking to fill that empty void he has left in my life. I currently am unemployed and have lots of free time to take care of your pets! I am available any day or time to help you out. I have a fenced in yard and a single story house in a quiet neighborhood. Dogs will have free rein of my house and are allowed on the couch and bed.

“Samantha was incredibly kind, friendly, professional, reliable, and a very caring animal lover. Felt very confident and comfortable with her taking care of our cat's needs at our home while we were on vacation. Excellent video updates in a timely manner and great communications. I highly recommend her for all your pets' needs and will definitely look to her for future sitting.”

“This was my first time using Tawyna & John P "Clay" for doggy day care, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. Clay was professional from the start and always prompt in responding to my questions, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, he took the time to give me a tour and patiently answered all of my questions. The multiple levels of fenced kennel runs with bark chips were very well done, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing that both of my Weimaraners were safe and secure. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time! They came home happy and happily worn out at the end of the day, which says everything. I’m so thankful for the care Clay provided and would absolutely recommend him to others looking for a safe, well-run place for their dogs.”

“Jennifer and her family could not have been better to our pups. I wouldn't want them to be with anyone else. From early mornings to late nights.... Rebel and Dax will miss you guys!”

“Phillip is very communicative and flexible when it comes to scheduling pickup and dropping off. My puppy came back happy and tired(yay!). I will be booking again. Thanks Phillip!!!”

“Danielle was wonderful with our shy, anxious rescue. She communicated well and asked plenty of great questions, was kind and patient, and has a calm demeanor. We weren't able to do a meet and greet in advance since I was traveling through, which made it even more impressive that my pup warmed up to her right away and relaxed so quickly. Responsible, professional service. Highly recommend!”

“Diana D. was so accommodating to take my little Harley at such short notice. When I came back to pick him up she shared with me some simple ways to help him feel more confident. Diana sent pictures throughout the day as well, which helped me get the a long meeting. Thank you again Diana.”

“Ollie seemed happy while there, according to the pics sent, and just as happy when we picked him up. Shauna has a really dog friendly house and yard, and most importantly Shauna seemed a truly authentic ‘dog person’. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave our Ollie there again!”

“Callie had an absolute blast! I appreciate the communication and updates! Gayle and her family are very friendly and took great care of Callie. I can’t wait to book again so she gets used to being in a new space! Thanks again , she is wore out! 🤗😴”

“Kyra has been so wonderful to work with training our 1 year old! I can tell she genuinely cares about his development and well being. She is very responsive and flexible. We look forward to continuing having her and her pups be a part of our dog’s life.”

“Our dog had a great time at Matt's. We were in town just for half of the day and happy to find a place for our dog to enjoy herself with other dogs. We received pictures and a video while she was there. She was tired and slept really well that night. Matt was friendly, easy to talk and communicate with. We would definitely book again with Matt if we are ever in his area again.”

“Ashley is just the best! Maizie came home happy and tired from “preschool.” She and Paco had fun playing together and walking around the block. Maizie was even comfortable enough to take a nap or two, and Maizie ate her food! That never happens! Ashley sent lots of photos and videos. When we return, I know Maizie will be happy to see her friends once again. Thank you for the great puppy care, Ashley!🤗”

“Penny had a great day with Christina! During the day, Christina sent me photos of Penny and updates on how she was settling in and getting on with her family furry friends. Christina is super friendly and a great communicator. I felt totally at ease leaving Penny with her.”

About: I have been taking care of cats, dogs, birds, fishes, and pet rodents since I was five. I also used to work at Lost Our Home Pet Foundation with Focus Employment Services during 2016. I went to Vet Camp during Summer 2013. I have treated all the pets with love, care, and respect. I had learned how to groom animals when I was a kid by my grandmother then again in highschool at Red Mountain High School while taking animal science and vet science. I also got more into grooming different animals when I went to Vet Camp up in Kayenta, Az. I've grew up around cats and dogs while helping my family take care of their pur babies. Growing up I would alao take care of the stray cats that would visit time to time, always leaving clean water for them. I had my first first pur baby (Princess Cinnimon) when I was in elementry 5th grade after my cousin let me cat sit at my home with her 3 pur babies (Midnight, Cinnomin, and AJ). My first cat sitting job was the summer before 4th grade as my aunt went on vaction and my mom was house sitting leaving me in charge of the cats (Pumpkin and Boots). Before this I would visit my family and help take care of the cats and play with them while I was there. At friends' houses I would help them bath, groom, feed, and overall take care of their cats. While visiting (vacation) Beaverton I helped the hosts while there cats (heath, feeding, and playing) especially when they left for a trip. As I grew up with my mom's cat (Tigger was a stray) I showed I was ready for my own. My first cat was Princess Cinnimon (from my cousin) which later I got Cookie (from my friend's family). As time went on I would help my friend's and my family with their pets (including cats) while also taking care of mine and strays. When I decided to be a Vet Tech I work with Focus Group at Lost Our Homes Foundation taking care of cats before getting trained to work with the dogs as well. There I would clean and sanitize their rooms, litter box (fresh box), restock litter boxes, clean cages, change their blankets and towels, give clean bowls, fresh water, give them their food, brush their trees, brush their fur, wash their bowls, wash their blankets and towels, give out treats, play, spend quality time with each of the cats in the rooms, and notify the staff if something was wrong with their health. At times I was their jungle gym especially in the kitten room. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets, baby or babies, from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. If need be I can take care of them over night as well. I will take videos and pictures of them and follow all your instructions. I will give them fresh water in a clean bowl and make sure they have food. I will take them on walks, for dogs, and play with them, for all playable pets. I will also give you updates and notify you if something is wrong. I treat all pets like they are family, give them love, and my undivided attention. Also I will make sure to bath them if you wish for me to do so. I am a student getting my degree in Accounting. I can take care of your pets (baby or babies) from 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 10pm. “I used Maylie for day boarding and some overnights for just over a month straight. I have two dogs and they LOVED hanging out with her. She was great at communicating and checking in about things she wasn't sure about my particular dogs and I could always reach her to check in! I would absolutely use her again if I needed to board my dogs”

“Best day ever . Shes a great sitter and he had so much fun . He's only four months old 70 lbs, never been around other dogs and she was able to get him acquainted and He made new friends, and she was definitely capable of handling a new excited Dog, meeting other dogs. If I ever come up here again, I will be using her every time.”

“Heather has been so great with my very energetic 1 year old, goldendoodle. She has been so patient and makes sure to follow up on behavior correction. Archie loves his walks with her. Great communication regarding scheduling. Definitely recommend!”
“Maleny is on time, kind and polite. She was very flexible with Larry's walking schedule. Larry is a big guy (1 year old male American Akita) and she wasn't worried at all. I probably caused more problem than if I'd just gotten out of her way and let her take over. Larry loves that he has a new friend and I'm excited to see how this goes. I will definately rebook Maleny. As soon as she and Larry got outside she took control and they were off.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs for the past 9 years. From owning dogs to dog sitting. I am comfortable walking, feeding, grooming, training, playing, and staying overnight with any age of dog. I really enjoy being around puppies and have a good understanding of what senior dogs need. I am comfortable with both high and low energy dogs. Have a skidish or shy dog? I have experience with them too. I am home from college for the summer and have plenty of time on my hands! I'm very flexable with times and am more than happy to wake up early or stay late! I will communicate with the pet parent to understand the pets needs and figure out plans to prevent or deal with various potential shenanigans the furry friend may come up with.
About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! I am respectful of other spaces! I like to stay occupied and am willing to go on adventures with your fur baby! I am full of love to give for animals. My full time job is caregiving so I’m the kind of person to place others needs before my own, but I do prioritize my health so I’m always in tip top shape for whoever/whatever needs my attention!

I am responsible and have a lot of free time to give your pets the time and attention they need. I just recently had to put my dog down so I am looking to fill that empty void he has left in my life. I currently am unemployed and have lots of free time to take care of your pets! I am available any day or time to help you out. “Stacy is amazing!! I would recommend her to anyone. She took my puppy to the dog park for me and he warmed up to her quickly. Easy to communicate with and I will keep rebooking with her 😊”

“Lucy had a great time and I felt very comfortable knowing she was in loving hands ❤️ they were also very understanding and flexible! Will definitely book with them again!”

“Jade is the best!! We've used her several times to watch Maisie and we never worry about her. She always sends pictures, video's and text's. Maisie has a great time with her and her pups. Jade treats her like one of the family:)”

“My beagle stayed with Madlin for 4 days, had an issue with another arrangement while I was out of town and Madlin was able to handle everything (picked up my dog and helped both my beagle's stress and my own with great communication). She was a life saver for me and my dog loved her, would recommend her to anyone in the Salem area.”

“I had a great experience. I received daily updates, which I really appreciated, and communication was easy throughout. Pickup and drop-off were smooth and convenient. Very satisfied with the care provided.”

“This was our first time boarding Ginny with someone who wasn’t family or close friends, so I was definitely nervous. Dezarae was so great and sent daily updates with photos and videos without us having to ask, which meant a lot. Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating. Ginny came home happily exhausted in the best way. We would absolutely book with her again.”

“Karlie was very flexible and easy to plan with. Her house is very dog friendly and her pup, Dresden, is a great playmate! Our dog didn’t care when we left at drop off because she was already having so much fun.”
