“Carrington was absolutely fantastic with our two babies. She gained our cat’s love easily which is a feat because he never comes out from the bed room when strangers are over! She also took special care of our lonely golden, and made him feel extra loved while we were gone. Her updates were phenomenal as well! It really helped put me at ease with leaving my fur babies. We have another trip coming up at the end of the year and I know our babies are hoping Carrington can watch them again! ♥️”

“Gavina was amazing! She is very professional and caring at the same time. This was my first time using a service like this and she put my mind at ease with her open communication. I would definitely recommend Gavina! I cannot thank her enough!”

“Carla was absolutely wonderful with our kitty, Kiki! We were traveling last‑minute and were so nervous to leave her, but Carla eased all of our worries right away. She communicated constantly, sent thoughtful updates, and showed so much genuine care for Kiki. She went above and beyond—cleaned up litter, managed an ant situation, refreshed food and water, and made sure Kiki got tons of love and attention every visit. Kiki adored her, and we came home to a happy, relaxed cat. We are so grateful for her reliability, kindness, and attention to detail. We would 100% trust her with Kiki again. Highly recommend Carla!”

“Christina was amazing! She was understanding and patient with my anxious pup, and capable of handling my dog-reactive one. I always worry that my roughhousing, loud dogs will be too intense for people, but Christina's experience proved to be a perfect fit! I would definitely recommend her as a sitter :)”

“Kate was so amazing with my two kitties while I was away for the weekend. Sent me lots of updates and photos and super communicative with how they were doing! She gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. She is also so sweet, professional and kind! 😊 Will absolutely be rebooking with her in the future when needed!”

About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. I am retired and looking to fill my time with love and cuddles. I have always enjoyed caring for the variety of animals I have and have had. I love learning all the cute special quirks and loves of every animal I interact with. I am very respectful of other people's space and items - my focus is on the animals in my charge. I can feed, walk, play and generally be a companion to any animal. I also respect the home and treat it even better than my own, ensuring that I leave the home as I found it.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through owning and looking after two of my own. I understand the importance of providing regular exercise, feeding, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I also volunteered at FieldHaven for five months, where I cared for cats and gained experience meeting the needs of animals in a safe and compassionate environment. I genuinely enjoy connecting with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I am currently not working so I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am basically free whenever. Walking animals fits perfectly into my routine because I enjoy going on walks myself so why not take a furry friend along with me 🤗. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure pets always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and lots of affection. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to help them feel happy and secure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
