About: I've had pets since I was 6, ranging from an older Jack Russel Terrier, shy/abused German Shepherd/Rottweiler, and now a hyper Pitbull! I accept the personalities of all animals I currently work a full-time job. I have flexible lunch breaks and can contribute to care within the 11-1 PM schedule. I am available after 3:30 PM until 8 PM every weekday if given 2-3 days notice. On weekends, if I am not traveling, I can be flexible. I am an early riser!!! So if you need a 6 AM walk, I am SUPER happy to oblige. I'm available to take dogs on walks, supervise play time in a fenced in area, or adjust to whatever exercise your dog may need. I'm happy to feed and water them and provide care specific to their needs.

About: I've taken care of pups since I was a teenager and am continuing my love of them as my nursing career winds down and my husband is semi-retired. We treat them with dignity and respect just like they were our own. We are flexible as the work from home option allows the ability for us to spend quality time with your pet. We are available for boarding any day of the week including weekends and holidays. We have a nice sized yard and are close to multiple parks to take your pet on walks. Dogs are free to roam as if they were in their own home but can crate if desired.

About: Just graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology and am completing my pediatric psychology post doc fellowship- so I have flexibility with advanced notice. I promise to treat your best friend as my very own. You will not find another individual as dedicated to providing love, support, care, exercise and fun. Very big promotor of positive reinforcement! I believe pets are family. I currently have a rescue pup from Aruba who does experience significant anxiety and reactivity in novel situations and feel comfortable working with dogs who experience similar challenges. Previous experience includes extended house sitting for a family on sabitical for 6 months. During this time period, Midget (a 30lb rescue) was my number 1 companion. She was able to experience a ton of new things. I grew up with 2 Lab Retrievers, and my parents now have a black lab boarder collie mix, Sophia, and have experience taking care of larger, as well as elderly dogs. I have also done long term drop in dog care for 2 puppies. I've always been an athlete so taking longer walks or running with your buddy will not be a problem. I love hiking and I am happy to take your dog on hikes if you would like. Reference contact information available per request. About: I grew up with cats & dogs my whole life. I don’t currently have any now so I miss them. Thought this would be a nice way to have that in my life & also help busy people out in the process. Life is a roller coaster we need to help each other out & making some extra money is always great I can adjust my schedule for the most part. About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have a cat named Pumpkin and a guinea pig named Cozy, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
