About: I’ve been a pet owner for more than 45 years and I love my animals like they are my kids. That’s what you can expect from me while caring for your pets. I’ve had little dogs and big dogs, cats, fish, even horses. I especially love Great Danes and for some reason they love me. I have no fear of them and appreciate their lap dog in a big dog body personalities. My favorite thing is when I’ve just met a new Dane, within a few minutes of meeting them they are comfortable enough to start “herding” me. This is when I know I’ve gained their confidence and trust. Most of them try to sit on my lap, I always let them. ❤️? I’m currently working remotely and have flexibility with my work and schedule. I can be available on a short or advanced notice for visits in my home or yours. I have a semi fenced yard and 2 dog parks nearby. I have 2 cats. One is social and inquisitive while the other is a princess and lounges in her royalty most of the day. Your pet and I would be besties and get as much or little attention as they desire for the duration of their stay with me.

About: I have been interacting with dogs of all breeds and ages since I was 8 and volunteer at local animal shelters as well as taking care of my own pets. I am great with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes! I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree at college and in my free time I love to help out walking dogs and taking care of them! I have a studio apartment with ample park access including a fenced in backyard. I have a 7 year old pit mix who is potty trained and loves other dogs! I also have a crate if needed :)

About: Just graduated with my PhD in Clinical Psychology and am completing my pediatric psychology post doc fellowship- so I have flexibility with advanced notice. I promise to treat your best friend as my very own. You will not find another individual as dedicated to providing love, support, care, exercise and fun. Very big promotor of positive reinforcement! I believe pets are family. I currently have a rescue pup from Aruba who does experience significant anxiety and reactivity in novel situations and feel comfortable working with dogs who experience similar challenges. Previous experience includes extended house sitting for a family on sabitical for 6 months. During this time period, Midget (a 30lb rescue) was my number 1 companion. She was able to experience a ton of new things. I grew up with 2 Lab Retrievers, and my parents now have a black lab boarder collie mix, Sophia, and have experience taking care of larger, as well as elderly dogs. I have also done long term drop in dog care for 2 puppies. I've always been an athlete so taking longer walks or running with your buddy will not be a problem. I love hiking and I am happy to take your dog on hikes if you would like. Reference contact information available per request. My schedule is relatively flexible with advanced notice but also not always consistent. Please get in touch with me so that we can figure out a plan that would work best. About: Hi I’m Jess! I’ve previously worked for petsmart and have owned pets all of my life! I’ve got experience as a bird owner for over 30 years with multiple types of birds and other animals such as dogs, cats, and handling small critters at Petsmart. I have volunteer experience with rescue dogs at a rescue in Pa in my twenties, volunteered at Tri State Bird Rescue, and Forgotten Cats for many years. I have been a sitter for dogs of all sizes including a coon hound, pit mix, corgi, and a golden doodle. I’ve even made homemade dog food when necessary! I have also been a sitter for cats! I’m willing to get my hands dirty and am used to cleaning up for and bathing dogs in my home as well! I love the outdoors and walking dogs, so your dog will get plenty of outside time. There is a state park close to my home that I frequent. If you have other animals in your home like Guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, lizards, etc I can care for them too with my knowledge from working at Petsmart. Helping me will be my significant other who currently works for petsmart also. I’m an animal lover at heart and will take great care of your pet as if it were my own! I’m home 24/7 to care for your pet, with a very flexible open schedule. I have nothing but lots of time to devote to your pet. I have a safe apartment complex with other leashed dogs that are all friendly surrounding me. My home is smoke free and we don’t use aerosols or candles due to owning birds. Our birds are kept separate from your animals and your pet will be supervised and played with and let out for potty breaks and walks every hour or two.

About: Hi there! My name is Jamiah, but feel free to call me by my nickname, Mia! I started building my pet care business in 2017. Now in 2025, I work at a non profit as a Communications & Marketing Specialist. While I took time away from Rover to start my career, my heart is calling me back to my ultimate passion-providing high quality care and comfort for all furry friends, while meeting fantastic like-minded people along the way! My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. Those 3 years provided me with the basic knowledge about all barn animals and pets. This experience enabled my passion for helping animals no matter how large or small. I’ve always taken the opportunity to volunteer and give back to shelters who need support. Faithful Friends became my home for a few summers as I walked dogs and cleaned countless litter pans.
