About: I have had two cats all of my life, while also pet sitting my friends’ dogs when they went out of town. I am very familiar with both cats and dogs and I am happy to hang out with your pet when you cannot be there for them. I am taking a gap year from school so my schedule is fairly flexible. As long as there are set times that are clear I can make it work. Depending on whether you have cats or dogs will change the way I care for your pet in your home. With dogs, there will be more going in and out with walks and with cats I will stay in the home to make sure everything is up to your standards.
About: I have one senior pit mix who I currently take care of, and I have also pet sat for both dogs and cats for family/friends. I have lots of flexibility to take care of different animals. While I am at school and my schedule varies depending on the day, I am available most times of the day. Just communicate with me and I’m sure we’ll be able to work something out! I will meet with your dog for one-on-one playtime with toys and lots of cuddles. At least one or more walks with plenty of potty breaks and feeding if needed. I try my best to cater to the individual needs of your animal.

I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away, and I always treat every pet like my own. I would do it either before or after work. I would also do it on the weekends as needed by customers. I’d do it as often as I’m needed I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and playtime, and get regular walks or exercise when needed. I also keep living areas clean, including litter boxes or pet-related messes, and provide updates so owners feel comfortable while away. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic, shy, or prefer a calmer environment. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, but really started taking a lot of responsibility for their care around 12. From small breeds to large, I've loved them all! I have experience with behavioral issues, medication administration, seizures, and other medical issues. I'm a stay at home mom of two beautiful disabled children. We have one cat and one dog. I'm always home and available during the day for boarding. We have nice, big yards and we live in a very friendly neighborhood! I'd also love to help take care of your babes on the weekends, evenings, and occasionally during the week! I have an unfenced but spacious yard. Our home has the capacity to keep everyone separated if needed, but lots of room to be together, too! We have plenty of room for a crate, if that's how your sweet babe thrives, but we also support snuggles during sleep, too!

We have had great experiences with Colleen taking care of our 3 cats. This time we were gone longer than previous trips and as usual I was very happy with the care my cats received. They were all calm and happy when we returned, and the litter boxes were maintained well so we didn’t come home to a stinky house. Colleen is very responsive to messages and visits very early in the morning to keep them close to their usual feeding schedule. We will continue to be repeat clients for sure.
Alyssa was so great with our cats. We got an update with every drop in visit and our three seemed to really enjoy her. Everyone was happy and well taken care of the whole time we were gone. Will definitely be reaching out again the next time we’re gone for a long weekend.
Nicole was just wonderful on her drop in with Spock. Followed instructions for dealing with his food, water, treats, litter box. Even keeping tabs on his destructive kitten capabilities without any problems. Pets, a brushing, play. She was so attentive. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
