Experienced crazy cat lady
I have lived with cats all my life - since the day I was born! All throughout my life, I have had a special bond with animals, but I have a special place in my heart for cats. My parents have had 7 cats over the years, and I currently live with 8 cats, 3 of which are my own. I have experience with feral and community cats and have helped with TNR (trap-neuter-return) programs since 2015, and have volunteered at various rescues over the years. I have handled and cared for neonatal kittens, taking care to weigh them each day and litter box train them. I have watched numerous friends' pets - mostly cats - for several days or weeks at a time, and am very good following specific directions and instructions. In 2020, I found myself taking in two female rats, which I quickly fell in love with. I provided them the best life I could, and cared for them until they passed of old age. I have experience with senior pets, giving medication, and even teaching cats to high-five.

Safety, trust & environment
In my own home, my cats are fed on a schedule twice a day with a measured amount of food. I am able to stick to schedules and give medication at proper times, if needed. If animals are nervous, I give them time to warm up to me on their own terms. Currently I am socializing a feral cat, so I am quite used to giving the necessary space for cats to feel comfortable around me.

Lynn is such a great pet sitter! My cat can be a little fickle, but she’s so patient and always finds ways to engage her, whether it’s with play or pets. She’s so kind and thoughtful, and I always feel at ease knowing my cat is in good hands. She takes the best pictures, which totally put my mind at ease while I’m away. I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I'm a graduate student at Binghamton University in the Chemistry department. I teach a few times per week (each semester on different days), but my schedule is quite flexible, so I am able to stop in once or twice per day to care for and play with your cats!
- CatsLynn can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I would want to know about a dog’s behavior and general temperament before taking a job. I’m mostly a cat person, so I’m used to many different personalities of cats.
