About: I have owned multiple dogs (Barnum, Tiara, Miles, and Peanut were my furry friends) from the time that I was two years old until I started college. I have also pet sat for friends many times throughout highschool. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of the love and attention that dogs require. I love dogs and would be more than happy to help you care for your four legged furend when I am not in classes since I am a full time college student. I am patient, attentive, and exceedingly open to play time with your dog. It's my goal to make both you and your pet happy by walking, checking in on them, or staying with them. I'll follow any instructions I'm given. I also currently have 2 doggos of my own so I adore pets. I'm looking for ways to make extra money when not at work so any time I'm not working I'm available to help care for your furry family member Pets aren't just pets. They're family. About: On top of about a decade’s worth of experience taking care of family and neighborhood pets, I’ve spent the last 1.5 years as a professional dog trainer! I have a passion for pets and making sure they’re happy and safe. I have taken care of and trained just about every age, sizes, and personality type. As long as you let me know what your babies need, I’m more than happy to help! I am a teacher currently on summer break! I have plenty of time to focus on your pets and give them the care and attention they deserve! I am open to doing whatever your normal routine is! “Michelle filled-in last-minute when our booked sitter from Rover was unable to fulfill the booking. She was fabulous! She came in advance to meet our pups and to get acquainted, She was flexible with her schedule to accommodate us. Her husband even helped out to backfill for times Michelle had to work (because this was last-minute). She took great care of our pups: feeding, walking, sitting. She sent us pictures and notes daily to let us know how they were doing, and even stripped the bed and ran the dishwasher before she left! We highly recommend her.”

I will be upfront and honest- I decided to create a rover account partly due to animals being something I am passionate about and have the experience to make you as fellow fur parents feel comfortable. I also am doing this so I can work a "part time" job to (slowly but surely) be able to afford to get a house with a yard- both for my human and animal children. I would love to have your pet's come to me, but due to me living in an apartment with just a small fenced patio, I will be coming to your homes and can make what works for your busy schedule work for me! About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, and have a passion when it comes to working with animals. Growing up, I have always had dogs and cats, and have also worked with horses and goats. I am extremely comfortable with all animals and have some experience looking after reptiles as well. I have worked at a vet clinic for the past 4 years and feel the knowledge and experience I gained there aids me in my ability to care for pets with their best interests in mind. I can administor oral and injection medications, perform animal first aid/cpr, recognize unusual behaviors/acute illness, care for elderly pets, medically dependant/complex pets, and also am able to work with behavioral pets who may struggle to connect with new people and/or are reactive to other animals. I pride myself on my ability to understand the individual personalities of each pet, and their specific wants/needs. I love working with animals and connecting with new pets and their families! I am extremely active and can keep up with your high energy pets! I also pride myself on staying in contact with families and sending lots of updates and pictures during walks/drop ins. I am currently working as an early childhood educator, and would love to build on my flexible schedule with pet sitting and drop ins! I am available afternoons and evenings, as well as the occasional early mornings. I am observant when it comes to caring for pets in a home. About: Animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. 🐾 My heart belongs to my 8-year-old miniature schnauzer, my little old lady bestie who came from a tough past. Caring for her through trauma and anxiety has made me a more patient, attentive, and compassionate pet parent which are skills I bring to every pet I care for. Most recently, I welcomed three rescue cats into my life, and let me tell you, they have completely stolen my heart! Every day is a new adventure learning their quirks and showering them with love.
