About: I’ve had pets all my life. My family is full of animal lovers and they know they can rely on me if they need someone to care for their pet for any reason. I have experience with end of life care for cats, administering pills and fluids to cats, and feeding cats by mouth with a syringe. For example, one of my cats has a hyperthyroid and acid reflux and takes pills to manage it, and another has arthritis and takes a liquid medication orally to manage it. I primarily have experience caring for cats, dogs and hamsters. Petsitting is my focus, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m normally available for house sitting both weekdays and weekends, however I do have my own obligations and pets of my own to care for, so I must be able to leave for ~4 to 5 hours at some times. Due to this, I am not always able to accept requests for constant care (meaning pets who cannot be left alone for more than 1-3 hours, as an example). I spend as much quality time with my clients as I can, giving them plenty of love and attention. I love cuddling with them if they’re cuddlers and using their favorite toys when I play with them. I cannot take on higher energy dogs to care for, as I cannot provide them with the stimulation and exercise they need to thrive. In addition to Rover’s Guarantee, I am insured and bonded through PCI.

“I’ve used Rover in the past and after an initial meeting, have had great luck with dog walkers. Michelle is even a step above those walkers. Her kindness and patience in allowing my timid dog to get used to her slowly, over a few visits, was such a relief. Michelle’s a rockstar! 😊”

“Amanda is super kind and flexible. My dog Lucy absolutely adores walks/but can also be a bit difficult. Amanda has been accommodating and great for both of us. Thank you!”

“Medea is THE GREATEST dog lover ever. I have worked for her since I moved into Rockford and am so pleased to have her be in our lives. Despite not having the opportunity to socialize with her, I absolutely feel blessed to have her around. I work overnight shift so during my work week I tend to be too tired to Walk my Matilda as much as she needs but I love that Medea comes in and when im awoken by Matildas over excitement it warms my heart to know that she Loves Medea. Since ive had her work with us my Matilda is happier she only barked once at Medeas arrival and when she saw her she was happy. I think Matilda tends to get happiest the days she has her walks with Medea. I would recommend her services to everyone I know with pets. Most amazing person ever. Thank you Medea for being a blessing in our lives. 😃🐶”
