“John was fantastic- very responsive and kept us updated with pictures and messages while we were out of town. Our old girl was well taken care of. Would definitely use him again.”

About: I love all kinds of pets from the furry ones to the scaly ones. I’ve worked with animals for at least 20 years. During high school, I volunteered at veterinary Clinics and took veterinarian classes. I have a lot of hands-on experience caring for puppies. There was a time when we had a surprise puppy litter, and I was responsible for our nine puppies and our three dogs. I may not have any special skills such as being a certified dog trainer, but I have extensive experience of caring for animals. I know the stress you feel when you have to leave your furry friends behind when you go to work or take a vacation, and I'm here to help. I love all animals, and I’m available to assist you. I'm available on weekends and weekdays in early mornings and evenings, also can swing by on my lunch breaks for the babies to stretch their legs as well. I offer house/pet sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking/running. I'm trying to add more cardio to my daily routine and would love for your fur baby to be apart of it!

About: Hi! My name is Jenny, with over 30 years of experience in pet sitting, I have dedicated my life to caring for a variety of beloved pets. My lifelong passion for animals has provided me with a great understanding of their needs and behaviors. I have been surrounded by pets all my life, from dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits to my current companions, goats and chickens. Known for my kindness, responsibility, dependability, and caring nature, I strive to offer the best care for every pet I look after. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and helping with all your pet sitting needs. Your furry friends will be in good hands! 🐾 I currently have a part time craft business out of my home, so I have a very flexible schedule and make my own hours, so I can very easily adapt to your schedule! I ensure that pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their own environment while their owners are away. I follow a personalized approach, understanding each pet's unique needs, routines, and preferences. My services include: - **Daily Walks and Exercise:** Keeping pets active and engaged. - **Feeding and Hydration:** Ensuring they have fresh food and water according to their specific diets. - **Companionship and Playtime:** Spending quality time to prevent loneliness and stress. - **Medication Administration:** If required, I carefully administer medications. - **Home Security Checks:** Keeping an eye on the home to ensure everything is in order. - **Clean-Up:** Maintaining a tidy space by cleaning litter boxes, cages, and any messes. With my responsible and caring nature, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing peace of mind to pet owners knowing their furry family members are well-cared for. 🐾

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for the past 30 years. In the past 10 years have enjoyed taking care of my senior Beagles. I'm off for the summer so just about any day works! In the fall, my schedule will allow Mon- Fri after 3pm. Can't wait to help out! I can help you in your home with feeding, walking and playing with your pet. If your pet just needs snuggles, I'm there for it.

“Thank you very much for giving us peace of mind while we are away. The “report cards” are great and you are very descriptive which is another added layer of comfort for us. The pictures you take are great. We can’t thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. We will definitely be in touch for future drop in visits!”

“First time Rover user. Holly was AWESOME. She came to our home for a meet and greet about a week and a half before our scheduled weekend. Our dog Anchor, was immediately taken with her and she was very attentive to him. During our away time, she was prompt and even early for the scheduled visits and provided multiple photos at each visit. She communicated, was on time, and attentive to our Anchor. If possible, I would give her 6 stars.”

About: Hi! My name is Katie. I've moved to Westminster, Maryland from Louisiana where I helped run a rescue and have had over a decade of experience with animals of all sorts. I am operations manager for a pet training/boarding facility and looking to make extra income by doing something I love, which is why I've turned to Rover. I would love to share my love for animals with you and help take care of your furbaby/babies! I live in Carroll County. (I do boarding in the owners home frequently through my full time job so I'm experienced and trust worthy) Please allow me to help you and I am flexible. I currently work with animals and am able to care for your dogs needs ❤️ they will be well cared for and loved very much. I am very detail oriented and love to make sure you're dog is as comfortable as can be while with me. Keeping to your dogs regular routines makes all the difference.

“Delilah is amazing. She took such great care of our animals and gave them lots of love. We really appreciated the pictures and videos. She has a way with animals. My two scaredy-cats even came out and let he pet them. I highly recommend Delilah!”

About: I believe that pets were put on this earth for no other reason than to make us happy. Seeing them makes me believe that there is a creator who cares about us. I do not have pets of my own but I enjoy other people’s pets to the full :D One of my clients books me several times a year to take care of their 2 standard poodle babies. My schedule is very flexible. I have commitments on Tuesday 5-10pm and Sunday 8 - 12pm but they can both be fulfilled remotely (virtually) and will not require me to leave your house. Each pet’s personality, needs and daily routine are different. I pay close attention to the details and instructions shared with me by the pet parents.

“Camryn was a God-sent person to watch over my baby Emanuele for over 2 weeks. Ema requires twice a day visit for his meds and feeding and Camryn delivered that and I came home to find my baby well and healthy. Thank you, Camryn, I'll totally contact you again in the near future and super recommend your services!”

About: Hi there! I’m Courtney – lifelong animal lover, seasoned pet parent, and your pet’s next favorite human. 🐾 From fluffy kittens to wise senior pups, I’ve cared for just about every kind of furry (and finned!) friend you can think of - cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits… basically everything except the slithery and scaly crew (sorry, lizards and snakes, you're adorable but not my specialty!). With a lifetime of experience and a current household that includes four cats and two dogs (yes, it’s as wonderfully chaotic as it sounds), I’ve seen it all - from zoomies and belly rubs to insulin shots and joint supplements. I’ve raised pets from their earliest days through to their golden years, including those with special needs like hip dysplasia and diabetes. Administering routine meds and providing compassionate, attentive care is just part of the package. I know firsthand that pets are family, and when you're away, you deserve peace of mind knowing your beloved companions are safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether your pet is a snuggly couch potato, an energetic explorer, or a quirky little character with special routines, I’ll treat them like one of my own. Let’s make your time away as stress-free as a sunny nap in a windowsill. ☀️🐕🐈⬛ I have a flexible daytime desk job, allowing me to set my own schedule and typically wrapping each day by 5p so my evenings are free. I'm happily married and my husband also works a flexible day job so he is able to hold down the fort with our pets and teens so that I can take care of your family when you're away! I'd love to provide your pet with drop-in care that suits their individual and unique needs, whether that's going for walks, playing in an enclosed yard, or hanging out for a bit for belly rubs, cuddles, and treats. I'm flexible to each pet's needs and want to be sure they feel loved and cared for in your absence. And of course, it's important to me to be sure they are in a clean, safe, fed environment during the times that I'm not there - whether that means making sure water dishes are full, messes are cleaned up, doors are secured, temperatures are comfortable, etc. I've worked with pets who prefer crate-training to those who are allowed free reign, and am comfortable with whatever YOUR structure is for your pet. If they're happy, I'm happy.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. My family had many many pets growing up. We had 3 different dogs and 8 different cats. I have had 2 dogs of my own and 2 cats of my own. About a decade ago, I opened a grooming, boarding, and dog walking business. It was amazing and I loved every second of it. Unfortunately, a few years ago my partner in that business and in life at one point passed away unexpectedly. I didn't pursue keeping the business open after that. I ended up working with dogs and going to clients houses throughout the years and I am currently opening another business and I have a groomer that is the co-owner of the business. I have experience training puppies, rescues, and older dogs. I use positive reinforcement, clicker training, food/treat based training, exposure therapy, and multiple other methods. I also make homemade treats for my dogs and my clients that are much better for pets than the overly processed treats that are usually carried in stores. I am currently going to school online and building my pet care business. I have complete control over my schedule right now and have plenty of time for pet care! I live in a home and have a fenced in yard. I always allow potty breaks every 0-2hrs and offer walks every 2-4hrs. I live in a small community that is right across the street from a HUGE field and many paths for dog walks and every client I've had LOVES it! I also have a special bathing setup for animals in my home if their owners would like bathing and/or grooms. I have a grooming table in the house in a special room and a groomer on-call at all times. I have multiple bedrooms, beds, dog beds, crates, couches, and more! Dogs are welcome everywhere but always in the same area as I am and not left alone. Safety is my number one priority! I want every dog's experience with us to be amazing and safe and reliable for the owner. I also am able to send updates and pictures and anything a pet owner/pet parent requests! The wellbeing of the dog is the priority. I also have access to a special location 20 minutes from my house with hiking paths, beaches, and fun environments to bring dogs for special experiences if owner wants that for their pup during their stay with us.

About: I've owned dogs for most of my life, and have always loved playing, caring for, and even helping to train them! Our family has three dogs at home, has bred 4 litters of Pomsky puppies, and I have gone through various training courses with several of our dogs. I also work from home, so have a fairly flexible and easy-to-work-with schedule. I work from home, and travel to Westminster daily during the week to pick up our kids from school. This gives me easy flexibility for quick walks & potty-breaks! I work hard to follow whatever routine & processes you already have in place, to help your pup feel comfortable and to keep them on your schedule.

“It is with great pleasure that I recommend Nikki For any dog walking + taking care of any animal. I have known Nikki for 20 years and in that time I have seen firsthand her incredible kindness to others and animals. Nikki would come take care of our dogs whenever my family was at work or school and also whenever we were on vacation. Nikki consistently demonstrated a calm and gentle demeanor around our pets. She is incredibly reliable and trustworthy, always making sure our dogs and home were well taken care of.”

“Kayla is excellent with pet care. She has 2 dogs that she has rescued. She regularly works on training. She makes videos to help other dog parents. And, even though she has a fenced yard that her dogs can run around, she still walks them several times a day. Kayla loves and protects all animals.”

He is phenomenal at training them and working with them to help them to be obedient and compliant animals to their routine. He is very punctual and cares very much about honoring the animals routines for them to feel safe and cared for! He will go above and beyond”
Westminster dog parents share their Rover experiences

Dollie did two drop-in visits with our 60-lb goldendoodle, Shiloh, while we were in NYC, and she was terrific! She sent detailed updates and adorable pictures, including one of Shiloh sitting with her son. She was patient and understanding when we had issues with the garage door keypad and showed genuine care, taking time to get to know Shiloh and his personality. Shiloh clearly loved his visits (he told us when we got home!). We highly recommend Dollie and would happily book her again!
