I have a fairly flexible weekly schedule and live in the Natomas area, conveniently close to the airport. My home is calm, quiet, and child-free, which helps maintain a peaceful environment. I’m happy to stop by and care for your furry family members, giving them attention, comfort, and companionship while you’re away. I prefer not to board pets in my home, as I have animals of my own and like to keep their routine undisturbed. However, I will consider home boarding for very small fur babies. I’m more than happy to come to your pet and spend quality time to help ease the stress they may feel in your absence :)

About: I'm a registered dietitian and my husband and I both work from home, which means your dog has company and attention most of the day. Our home is a spacious 3-bedroom with a big fenced, manicured backyard where your pup can play and explore safely off-leash. It's just the two of us and Poppy here, no kids, so the environment is extremely clean, quiet, and calm. Our friends and family actually coined the term "The Rest Nest" for our home, and that's exactly the energy your dog gets too. I started dog sitting by offering to watch my neighbor's pup for free because I just genuinely love being around dogs. That turned into me becoming the go-to dog sitter and walker in my neighborhood, and now I'm opening it up a little wider. My long-term dream is to run a dog rescue someday, so this is truly my happy place. I'm a Maltese/Shih Tzu mom (my girl Poppy is 6 and the queen of this house) and my husband has allergies, so our home is set up for low-shedding, hypoallergenic breeds only. I keep things small on purpose: 1-2 dogs max at a time. I want to know your dog's quirks, their favorite walking spots, what makes them nervous, what treat gets their tail going. That's the kind of care I'm offering. I'm available for weekend trips, vacations, daytime sitting while you're at the office, and overnight stays. Your pup gets daily neighborhood walks plus backyard playtime, and I send photo and video updates so you always know they're happy. Before booking, your dog must be fully potty-trained and good with other dogs since Poppy lives here full time. Please bring their own bedding or blanket from home, and a meet and greet is required before the first stay. I welcome Maltese, Shih Tzu, Toy/Mini Poodle, Bichon Frise, Havanese, Mini Goldendoodle, Cavapoo, Cockapoo, Yorkshire Terrier, Mini Schnauzer, and similar low-shedding small breeds under 25 lbs. I wish I could take every dog that exists (seriously, my retirement plan is a rescue), but due to allergies in my household I can only welcome hypoallergenic and low-shedding breeds. If your pup fits that description, I promise they'll be absolutely spoiled here. My husband and I both work from home full-time, so your dog has company and attention most of the day. I'm available for boarding, day sitting, and overnights any day of the week. Your pup gets daily walks, backyard playtime, and plenty of love throughout the day. It's just the two of us and our Maltese/Shih Tzu Poppy, no kids, so the environment is always clean, quiet, and calm. Maya is a wonderful, dog caring and gentle person. Her apt is very clean and tells you a lot of her demeanor as a responsible person. Our senior dog and was well loved and cared for while we were gone. I love that she sends me pictures and updates on how she is doing. She walked her twice and sometimes thrice daily even providing entertainment like watching dog show competition. I can say the best part of her stay is that Willow returned with no digestive issue as she is such a picky eater. Maya followed the instruction I shared with her on meal time, medication and supplement. A+ rating for Maya!!!
Christina took amazing care of my dogs, Monet (who will be 2 years old in April) and my two Maltipoo girls (both 10 years old). Denise was incredibly flexible and thoughtful before and during the sitting. Immediately and throughout the stay I received photos, videos, and updates. A few days in my pup had developed a limp (she is elderly and this has started happening on occasion).
