About: I been fostering kittens for two years with my partner, including bottle-feeding newborns, caring for young or special needs litters, and administering medications. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and animal care. I also have experience house-sitting for both cats and dogs through the Rover app, making sure pets stay happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and always treat them like my own. I work full-time, but pet care is still a big part of my routine because I’m super flexible and adaptable. I’m comfortable managing tasks around my schedule and always prioritize making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. When caring for pets in my home, especially kittens I’m fostering, I provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. I make sure they get plenty of social interaction and gentle handling to help them thrive. I also monitor their health closely and keep their space sanitized to prevent illness. When caring for pets in a client’s home through house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, medication, exercise, or playtime. I treat their home and pets with respect, maintaining the usual environment to keep pets comfortable and stress free. I also provide regular updates to owners so they feel connected and confident while away.
“Brian did a great job checking in on our dogs! We were gone on a day trip and just need someone to stop bye and let the dogs out. He handled them very well, took pictures and let us know everything was okay. We will definitely we reaching out in the future 💗”

“Kevin showed up on time, is really personable and was patient with our pup! We wanted our pup to get some energy out and Kevin did the job - our pup is exhausted — still snoozing 3 hours later!”

“It is very hard to leave our kids but Ruby gives us the peace of mind that they are being taken care of and getting loved on like we love on them! We look forward to our next booking with her!”

“Lisa definitely lived up to the other glowing reviews. She visited our house daily to feed, water and take care of the litter box for our two cats. She is reliable and even made friends with our often-shy Siamese kitty. We appreciated the daily pictures and reports cards while we were away on our week-long trip. We would highly recommend Lisa for your away pet-sitting needs! Hopefully she will still be providing here excellent services the next time we take a trip to visit family.”

“As always, Becky is incredibly responsible and caring with our kitties. We had some work going on in the house and they were very freaked out - Becky was very attuned to their needs and communicated well.”

“Annmarie was fabulous! I would use her again! She is thoughtful and caring about your pet. Sent pictures and you can tell she cares for your family pet kindly. So glad to have found her!!! Thank you”

“Ami was an amazing sitter for our two cats and chickens. She was very kind, patient and showed me immediately she was excited to care for my pets. She sent tons of photos and had great communication if she had any questions or responding to us. I would definitely recommended her if you need a sitter and I would use her again for my own cats and chickens.”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I've helped rescue nine cats and raised seven from kittens to adulthood, which has given me extensive experience with feline care and behavior. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building a bond with them through play, attention, and consistent care. In addition to cats, I regularly help care for my family's dog through walks, playtime, and daily care. I also have experience raising and caring for ducks, which has taught me the importance of providing consistent care, maintaining routines, and paying attention to each animal's needs. While cats are where most of my experience lies, I'm excited to work with dogs and other animals as well. I'm reliable, attentive to detailed care instructions, and dedicated to making sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, exercise, or specialized care, I'll treat them with the same patience and attention I give my own animals. I'm currently on summer break from college, so I'll have almost unlimited free time to play and care for your pets! I also don't mind weird hours, day or night. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any other care requirements provided by the owner. I like to be extra attentive and keep a close eye on pets because their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship while you're away, helping them feel happy and secure in their familiar environment.
“This is the second time I’ve utilized Claire’s services. Just like the first time, she was prompt and professional in her responses to the initial inquiry and following correspondence, came in at the requested time, took care of and spent some time with Cooper, and provided updates and pics. I came home to a happy pup :) Thanks again Claire!”

“This was our first time with a new pet sitter here in WA and it was really lovely to get home and find all our babies restful and relaxed. She took care of all their needs (we have 4 senior babies) and even checked off the list I left for her! She updated me with texts too which was really nice. Thank you Ronda!”
“Thank you, Vita for taking such excellent care of our cats! Our time away was very enjoyable as we knew that are fur babies were cared for so well. Vita came twice a day and administered medication to one of our 17 year-old cats and sent pictures of her playing with them and being so content and happy. We will definitely use her again!”

I am currently home all day and available for walks and love. For walks and home visits Tuesday - Friday I am available on a twice daily basis. Sat, Sun, and Monday I am available any time. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have grown up caring for them. I will treat your dogs as my own and there is nothing better to me than creating a connection with a new dog. Mon-Fri I am available for whatever you will need me to do however during weekends I will be busy with baseball. Very rarely will baseball cut into the week. If I am the only one home with my dogs I will stay I. The same room as them to assure them that they aren’t alone and I will talk and play with them as they want. If they start to get antsy and look like they need some time outside I will take them on a walk. Also of course I will make sure their water bowl is filled with clean water on a regular basis.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,146 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Western Junction. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Western Junction. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
