About: All my life, I’ve grown up around animals — cats, dogs, chickens, fish, and more — so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I also studied Animal Science for two years before switching career paths, and I’m currently a nursing student, which means I bring patience, responsibility, and attention to detail to everything I do. And I felt my pup was secure during her daily visits at Darbys home, with walks and suitable interaction with other pups at her home, I had no complaints. My pup was fed her meals as requested and Darby went the extent to clean the containers I brougjt homemade meals in for feeding, so I hadnt needed to worry about that after a long day! I respect Darby's stance even if off stanish to start.”

About: I have had dogs and cats nearly all of my 36 years. I have experience with walking and caring for dogs from 5 lbs to 150 lbs. I currently have a beautiful male pit bull boxer mix that loves other dogs as well. My children, ages 4 years and 9 years both love animals and would love to play with your pets! “I am not one to bother leaving recommendations & I wanted to see if my experience would serve the test of time before I did. I have used Rachel on 3 occasions so far, from a few days up to two weeks at a time. For context, I have a 10# poodle & I have never let my dog spend the night anywhere before except with a couple close friends. I was apprehensive to try this service, but ran out of options one time when I had to fly out in an emergency. Now, this is my go to place. Rachel has a great place with fenced acreage, a couple school age children who are respectful with dogs. At times there are other dogs that she cares for at the same time, so it would be helpful if your dog is socialized well & then they have “friends” to play with. I couldn’t ask for anything better with Rachel’s service. My dog has to take meds & she is competent with all of that as well. She sends pics of your dog to you periodically if you’d like while you’re away to reassure you everything is great. She communicates well & asks questions if needed. If you are unable to take your dog with you, I would highly recommend Rachel & her service on Rover.com with anyone.”

“James and his wife went out of their way to provide Henry good care while I was away. They were happy to accommodate his supplements and treats that I brought He enjoyed outside time in their big yard with the other dogs. He made fast friends with one of the bigger dogs and they said they slept cuddled up - so good to hear! They kept in touch and were responsive as well as flexible about pickup. I feel they provide a warm haven for the dogs in their care and their experience in doing this goes a long way.”
