With nearly 20 years as a veterinary assistant and a vet tech degree from the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh in 2009, I’ve dedicated my career to animal care. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, exotics, and farm animals like chickens, goats, sheep, and a few horses. I’ve also been a professional detection K9 handler for over nine years, mainly working with Labradors, but I have also worked with other breeds such as Coonhounds and German Shepherds. Whether post-surgery care or medication management while you're away, you can rely on. I bring experience from both shelter/animal control environments and veterinary care, working with cats of all ages—from kittens to seniors with medical needs. I’ve cared for cats in both clinical and in-home settings, including those requiring treatment for a variety of conditions, many of which were my own personal pets. I am comfortable administering oral medications and injections, and I focus on keeping each cat as calm and stress-free as possible during care. I will do everything I can to make your cat or multiple cats/kittens feel safe and loved while you are away, just like I would for my own cats at home. I take pride in building trust and forming relationships, especially with more reserved or sensitive cats, so they feel safe and comfortable during each visit. At home, I have 8 dogs, 3 cats, a dwarf hamster, and 6 hermit crabs. Some are working dogs, others retired or couch potatoes. About: For 2 years now, I have worked at an amazing animal hospital as a Kennel Tech! I have a lot of experience with pet care as well as administering medications to them. Growing up I have had many different pets as well like bunnies, birds, hamsters, etc. I’m currently working part time at an animal hospital, I usually try to get as many hours as I can, but I still have free time to do other things like care for your pet! My typical work schedule: Monday- not available Tuesday- not available Wednesday- available Thursday- available Fri, sat, sun- I work rotating weekends, refer to my calendar for my weekends! I walk dogs almost everyday where I work. Big and small, I can handle a 140lbs Great Dane pulling, jumping, and tugging. I deal with all kinds of doggies on a daily basis. Big, small, nice, aggressive, playful, fearful, etc.

About: As long as I can remember I have had a love for animals and especially dogs! I grew up always having a dog by my side. I have had my personal pet for a year now, and she has made it the best year of my life. She has been taught basic skills and some tricks. Soon she will be starting agility, tracking, scentwork, and possibly rally obedience. Seeing as she is a Labrador, I’ve had plenty of experience administering ear medication. I am also qualified to give oral medication. I will be getting First Aid Certified very soon. Rarely does a day go by where my dog doesn’t get the exercise she needs both physically and mentally. Whenever I watch someone else’s little loves, I treat them as if they are mine. I want the owner to have a safe and enjoyable time away from his/her pet without having to worry at all. Our pets are not with us nearly long enough, so I strive to give them the best lives while they are walking beside us! I currently work part-time with the weekends off. Along with that, I have college, but a lot of it is online. I’m never busy for more than 5 hours, so if need be during the week, I will be able to take the dog(s) out at least once every 5 hours. During the weekend, it is at least once every 2-4 hours. I am done with everything by 5 PM during the week. When it comes to schedules I am very flexible. At the time I cannot provide home services, but I can take your dog on a walk! When the weather is nice, I take my dog to the dog park, San Lee, or a nearby ball park for physical exercise. I would love to do so with your dog(s) if you feel comfortable enough to let me do so! If you would like your dog to have a play date, my Labrador, Jetta, is always down for a good time!

About: My family always had dogs growing up, including heelers, chihuahuas and Shi tzu’s! I now have 2 of my own, a 1 year old pitty mix named Charlie and a 5 month old golden named Marley. I make my own schedule so I have plenty of time for all pet related task! I often dog sit and do drop in visits for family and friends. I’m currently working part time, making my own schedule so I have lots of free time. Most of my day revolves around caring for my own dogs. They’re up early for breakfast, from there they enjoy walks and playing in the dog park. My 1 year old pitty mix Charlie LOVES naps after playing, so we do have a good bit of down time throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced in yard, my apartment complex offers a 24/7 dog park that my dogs enjoy. I also have a large crate if that’s something that you would like for your pet. My girls enjoy a day filled with treats, walks, toys and play time.

About: I've had all kinds of animals in my life, over 30+ years. A few litters of puppies from birth, several fosters and I'm always rescuing an animal that needs help. I will love and care for your baby as my own. 🐾❤️ I am pretty flexible with my schedule. 24 hour notice would be appreciated but I understand emergencies come up and I will do my best to accommodate that. I currently have 1 cat. I can handle multiple pet households, the most babies I have had at one time was 3 dogs, 5 cats, all while fostering as well. Unfortunately, they have since passed.

About: I've always been a part of a dog and cat family. From the overly excited puppy to the scared-of-everything cat to the adventurous elderly fur baby, I am excited to meet your very own fur baby and learn what makes them special. My own pets have a few needs of their own. I’ve trained my own dogs when they were puppies, administered meds (orally and with food mixing) and have sat for senior dogs. For Sanford pets, I am able to travel for potty breaks in the later afternoons on weekdays. Regarding overnight visits, I am able to accommodate late night and early morning visits. I'm ready to treat your fur babies to a special staycation while you vacation! My yard is partially fenced, and I have a houseful of my own so I am unable to board pet clients due to a sensitive older cat. Not all paws are on board, unfortunately. For any service, including drop in visits, I require meet and greets prior to the actual service. To best accommodate first time requests, let’s plan to meet within a week of the first visit. About: I have experience taking care of pets while families are on vacation. I was responsible for feeding walking and making sure the pets needs were meet! I love dogs and I always want to be around them. I am in school and work a part-time job, but I have time to watch dogs on the days. I do not have school work. When pets are in a client’s home, I enter the house let them outside to use the bathroom and get some energy out, then feed them if needed. After they eat, I will let them go use the bathroom again and be sure to take many pictures!
