About: Hi! I'm an experienced and reliable pet sitter who truly understands how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. For several years, I’ve house and pet-sat for friends and family, caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Whether it's a high-energy pup who loves long walks or a senior cat who just needs some gentle company, I’m happy to tailor care to each pet’s individual needs. As a dog and cat owner myself, I know how much peace of mind it brings to know your pets are in good hands. I treat every pet like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of love. I’d be honored to help keep your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away! As a remote worker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I'm happy to accommodate specific feeding, walking, or medication times as needed. While I do appreciate advance notice for bookings, I can also be available for last-minute requests when my schedule allows. Your pet’s needs will always be a priority! I tailor my care to fit each pet’s unique needs and personality—because no two pets are the same! Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’m happy to follow routines, administer medications, support special diets, and provide enrichment through play, walks, or calm companionship—whatever they need to feel safe and happy. I have a big soft spot for both cats and dogs, and I always aim to make them feel loved, secure, and cared for while you're away. I treat every pet like family and communicate clearly so you feel confident and at ease.
“I can't recommend Jessica enough! From the beginning, she showed genuine care and professionalism by asking all the right questions to really understand my dog's needs, routine, and personality. It gave me a lot of peace of mind. My dog absolutely loves her and gets so excited every time she comes over. It's clear she truly cares about the animals she works with. Reliable and great with communication—she’s the best!”

“Sarah is FANTASTIC!!! She is very responsive and flexible which is great for my nursing schedule. My dog fell in love with her right away! Her first night with Zeek they were snuggled up on the couch! Sarah sends great updates, and super cute photos. I have rebooked her so many times already!!!”

“Taylor is the best. She is reliable, communicative and accommodating to your schedule. We have a 6 month old miniature schnauzer that she has been walking off and on for about 2.5 months now. I've had zero issues with having Taylor help me out while I am at work. She always provides an update on how the walk went, how Tucker was doing and making sure he gets some love and attention while I am away. I would recommend having Taylor's help to anyone thinking of using Rover. Thank you!”

About: I've had animals in my house for over 20 years. Spanninng a cockatiel, a cat, five dogs and my clown fish who are going on 18 years old. Once, I drove the bird into the Tuft's vet school in a blizzard on a weekend night. Another time I took one of the clown fish into the Tufts satellite clinic on a Sunday because he hadn't eaten for days. Both pets lived to tell their tale. Cats are great, I love how they set the rules :) But dogs are where my heart is, especially Airedales, and rescue dogs are a labor of love! My priorities start with my pet family, unless I'm taking care of yours. Then, your pets become my priority. I work from home most of the time and that allows me to have the ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I can care for your pets as appropriate, on their time. I've raised my dog training game significantly over the past few years, attending regular sessions with my trusted trainer, Baptiste. Our work has focused on highly reactive dogs and also puppy training. Like kids, pets can do no wrong. I do not get upset with them, I just clean the mess ;)
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 9, helping bare dogs and cats, walking them, and feeding them. I’ve assisted my aunts at a vet hospital as well. I’m currently unemployed and have so much time. I love playing with cats and dogs and showing them love and affection. I can bathe them if needed also! I will feed and water them at your scheduled times. Will take them out when needed. I can also bathe any of your animals if requested.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog and cat owner with experience caring for pets of all sizes, personalities, and needs, including blind and diabetic dogs. I’m also a proud cat mom of two and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m active and love being outside, so I’m happy to match your dog’s energy with walks, playtime, or runs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, with plenty of updates and attentive care along the way. I currently offer pet care availability during early mornings, lunchtime, and evenings on weekdays, with more flexible availability on weekends. I’m an active person who loves hiking, running, and rock climbing, so I’m happy to match your dog’s energy—whether that means walks, runs, or playtime. I’m also very comfortable with a range of pet personalities. I’m happy to cuddle affectionate pets or give shy cats the space they need to feel safe and comfortable. This makes me a great option for anyone needing reliable early morning or afternoon care, along with consistent, attentive support for their pets throughout the week. I will always follow any specific instructions regarding treats, care routines, brushing, walking, or play so your pet gets exactly what they need and are used to. I take communication seriously and am happy to share pictures and regular updates during my time with your pet so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. About: I have previously worked as a zookeeper, a vet assistant, and am a AKC Certified dog trainer! Animals have always been my passion and I am well versed in handling techniques and general care/grooming. I am currently free every day so I will have plenty of time to make sure your animal(s) get the attention and care that are needed while you are away! About: As long as I can remember I have had a love for animals and especially dogs! I grew up always having a dog by my side. I have had my personal pet for a year now, and she has made it the best year of my life. She has been taught basic skills and some tricks. Soon she will be starting agility, tracking, scentwork, and possibly rally obedience. Seeing as she is a Labrador, I’ve had plenty of experience administering ear medication. I am also qualified to give oral medication. I will be getting First Aid Certified very soon. Rarely does a day go by where my dog doesn’t get the exercise she needs both physically and mentally. Whenever I watch someone else’s little loves, I treat them as if they are mine. I want the owner to have a safe and enjoyable time away from his/her pet without having to worry at all. Our pets are not with us nearly long enough, so I strive to give them the best lives while they are walking beside us! I currently work part-time with the weekends off. Along with that, I have college, but a lot of it is online. I’m never busy for more than 5 hours, so if need be during the week, I will be able to take the dog(s) out at least once every 5 hours. During the weekend, it is at least once every 2-4 hours. I am done with everything by 5 PM during the week. When it comes to schedules I am very flexible. At the time I cannot provide home services, but I can take your dog on a walk! When the weather is nice, I take my dog to the dog park, San Lee, or a nearby ball park for physical exercise. I would love to do so with your dog(s) if you feel comfortable enough to let me do so! If you would like your dog to have a play date, my Labrador, Jetta, is always down for a good time!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
