About: I have five years of professional dog care in many different spheres. I have previously managed two different kennels, groomed many dogs around Richmond, and am K9-CPR certified. I have experience training puppies, adults, and seniors basic obedience, leash manners, and beginner agility. I am well versed in administering medications. Prior to working with dogs as a career, I have experience caring for many dogs over my life, from family pets to petsitting in the neighborhood. I am happy to provide enrichment activities for your animal as well, such as bubble play, doga (dog yoga), or drives to hiking locations. I am committed to being completely available for any of your pet needs! My main focus is comfortable care for your critter, no matter how early or late that may be. I feel that years of experience in caring for animals who are being boarded, hanging out at daycare, or getting a stylish spa day have taught me so much in how to interact and build trust with many animals no matter the situation. About: I have 3 cats and 2 mice, so I have a lot of experience taking care of cats and small animals. I love dogs and have pet-sat for my friends with small and medium size dogs I work a full time job Monday - Friday. I am available to do drop-ins before 7:30am or after 4:30 pm on weekdays. I am always available in the evenings or weekends. I will follow whatever guidelines the owner's give. Otherwise, my base care is to give dogs 2 walks a day and at least 30 minutes of playtime for both dogs and cats. Ensure the pets are fed and gone potty/clean litterboxes.

We had an initial meet and greet, and then she even came back a day or two before the booking just to reacquaint herself with the dogs—which really put me at ease. She followed all of my instructions to a T, she was prompt, and kept me consistently updated with messages and adorable pictures. I could tell my dogs really bonded with her. Honestly, when I got back home, I felt like they were looking around for *her* instead of me—which is probably the best sign of all! The house was left just as I had left it, and I truly appreciated the level of care and respect she showed both to my pets and my home. I've already shared her info with a few friends who also struggle with the high cost of boarding, the risks, or even the guilt of leaving senior dogs in unfamiliar places. This experience was ideal because my pups got to stay in their own environment, which really reduced their stress and anxiety. In addition, I didn't have to worry about them being around other dogs which could lead to unexpected injuries or even sickness. I highly recommend Erica and will definitely be booking with her again for any future sitting or drop-in visits needed!”
