About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

When she was having phone issues she also made sure to communicate with me so as to minimize disruptions to the walk schedule. One walk was supposed to rain and she checked in before the walk to see how my dog does with rain and tried to adjust to find a window during the day that wasn’t down pouring. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents who have 3 dogs, 3 cats including a senior dog. I've established my own clients weekly and on an as needed basis. I am open to all types of pets and needs. I work from home so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

About: Hello! I grew up with large dogs and upon moving out from my home have had dogs, fish, and cats ever since. I have cared for large dogs, small dogs, and cats for over 20 years. I currently have three incredibly friendly and easy going dogs, including a remarkable Labrador retriever pup. I am currently retiring from a career in federal law enforcement. I am available most days and nights for your pets care. I understand the importance of pet diets, exercise, and socialization and make it a priority. My home is my pets home. We have a large 1.5 acre invisible fenced in yard surrounded by woods and a long front yard away from the road. The other dogs tend to stick together and my lab puppy learned the yard by just following around our German shorthaired pointer and older mastiff. Any other questions just ask!

About: Hey there! My dog sitting experience goes back to when I was 10 and became the neighborhood dog sitter. I took care of dogs as small as 10 pounds and as large as a Great Dane. I continued walking dogs in college through Wag! My own dog has suffered many health problems due to his breed. Through him, I've gained experience with supporting him in his recovery of a back injury, eye problems, and two emergency surgeries after swallowing items whole (he's not the brightest dog out there). I'm patient and will not leave a dog until I know I have done everything in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Lastly, I know it can be uncomfortable to have a stranger enter your home and take care of your pet. I am always open to meeting in a public space ahead of time. I am currently unemployed and therefore available all days and times. I do appreciate a heads up incase I am scheduling a job interview or traveling. With my own dog, I have learned to make sure the home is free of toys and choke sized objects, even though my dog is no longer a puppy. If I am caring for a dog that has been inside all day, I will go out of my way to make sure they have a thorough walk and chance to empty their bladder. While working with Wag! I would communicate any concerns or changes in a dog to their owner.

Yes we do allow our pets on our furniture and yes they do sleep in our beds. We have many pet dog toys so the day/night will be fun filled. I have rescued and volunteered and have had 12 rescues of my own throughout the years. My 2 dogs are Mia and Mindi. One is a cava-shu and the other a Morkie. They are sweet and lovable and 11-12 pounds. They love walks, going on rides, playing and being close. They are 13 and 16. My home is located in Old Saybrook which is smoke free. I do have a very flexible schedule and a doggy cam when I am not there. Your fur baby will love laying by the enclosed fireplace during winter nights or with me. Going on vacation and need someone to check on your home, water your plants, take in the mail, feed the fish I can also offer you these services. Rides to the vets and dog grooming. Lets meet and greet. From morning breakfast to walks by the beach to playing. Please let me know what your pet loves to do whether it’s playing with a toy, a ball or just being cuddled.
