“We booked Vincent for our dog Bella. He is even better than his countless reviews. He is professional and kind. He immediately bonded with our large rescue dog Bella. She usually takes more time to trust new visitors. Vincent is clearly experienced and naturally gifted with dogs. I strongly recommend him and we will book again in the future. Thank you!”

About: My husband and I recently returned from Costa Rica where we volunteered on a dog farm assisting with bathing, grooming and giving lots of love to almost 2,000 rescued dogs that live there. My husband also has a separate rover account under Maxi S. During my high school/college years my mother trained 5 different dogs for guiding eyes for the blind which I helped in the training process as well while home. I also started housesitting and caring for pets of local neighbors at the young age of 10. We have always had dogs in my home. I couldn’t imagine living without a dog. I have experience with dogs of all ages, puppies to senior dogs. I myself have a 9 year old cocker spaniel who thinks she is a human. I understand all pet owners and their pets have different needs and will respect any rules required to give your pet the care they need. I will treat your dog like my own. My family just returned from Costa Rica. My husband and I are both looking for flexible part time work which allow us to still care for our 1.5 year old son. You can also find my husbands separate rover account under maxi S. At the moment our schedule is open and flexible but as we find work our schedules will be changing depending. We have a good sized yard which is not fenced in but in a quiet neighborhood with a cul-de-sac. I don’t usually crate my dog, but if your dogs are crated I am familiar with crate training. I am a flexible person and am able to modify based on your pets needs.

“I cannot recommend Katherine enough! She has been taking care of my dog for a few weeks and I could not be happier with her professionalism and thoughtfulness. My dog was obsessed with Katherine as soon as she met her. I have really appreciated Katherine’s prompt communication. Even before booking, she let me know of a potential scheduling conflict so we could adjust. When she was having phone issues she also made sure to communicate with me so as to minimize disruptions to the walk schedule. One walk was supposed to rain and she checked in before the walk to see how my dog does with rain and tried to adjust to find a window during the day that wasn’t down pouring. My dog is always tired and happy after her time with Katherine. Highly recommend!”

About: I have a depth and variety of experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked at a doggy daycare, where I handled multiple dogs at once in group settings, giving me valuable experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I’m very familiar with reading canine body language and making sure play stays safe and respectful. I’ve also cared for both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting my care to their unique needs—whether it’s helping with early training for a new pup or making sure an older dog is comfortable and supported throughout the day. On top of that, I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, which has taught me to be attentive, patient, and genuinely connected to each dog I spend time with. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. My schedule is currently very flexible and accommodating, which allows me to take on regular walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting as needed. I truly enjoy spending my time with your furry friends, so fitting pet care into my day feels natural and fulfilling, whether it’s a quick walk or an overnight stay. I only offer care in my client’s home, and I always do my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any specific needs they may have. Whether it’s feedings, walks, playtime, or medications, I follow your instructions carefully and treat your pet and home with the utmost respect and care.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have 2 dogs now - one senior who is slow and needs lots of care and the other is young and active. I’ve watched and walked dogs for friends and family for the past 20 years. I’d love to help you with your family’s furry friend. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I’m generally home on the weekends and love to take my dogs for long walks every day. I am available to come let your dog out, take your dog for a walk or jog, or whatever else is needed during the day.

About: Hello! My name is Sam and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and have always had a hand in caring for my family's pets. Within the last year I have had the opportunity to help whelp two litters of Bernese Mountain Dog puppies and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love getting to know new dogs and cats, and have been known to leave my table at a restaurant to pet a dog I see through the window. I am the person at the party seeking out the pets so I can talk to them, rather than talk to the humans! I attend obedience classes with my own dogs weekly, and will be attending handling classes soon as well. Nothing brightens my day like being greeted by a dog, and getting to take care of them. We currently have three dogs and three cats in our home. Nothing is more important to me than your animal's comfort and safety.

“Duck had a wonderful walk with Adriana! I was very pleased and loved the pictures from the update. Adriana was very communicative and attentive. Highly recommend!”

“I was so grateful to find Allie and can’t wait to use her in the future. I don’t have animals but my parents and in laws do who we watch often. It was so nice to have peace of mind while I’m at work that they were taken care of. Allie came over to do a meet and greet before hand and the dogs immediately felt comfortable and loved her. She is responsible, caring, and a total animal lover. I can’t wait to use her in the future and will definitely recommend her to everyone I know!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life typically at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I am a natural animal lover and caretaker. I trained corgis for almost 10 years. I now have two cats and a dog of my own. I usually pet sit for friends or for my parents who have 3 dogs, 3 cats including a senior dog. I've established my own clients weekly and on an as needed basis. I am open to all types of pets and needs. I work from home so I am pretty flexible during the week with my days. I will always take my work schedule into account before accepting anything. If in need of dog boarding, your dog would have to listen well to be in our unfenced yard (i would leash or put them on the long line) and they would have to be ok with cats. If I were to go to your home, I understand this is a super personal space and a bit nerve wracking having someone there, trust me I feel the same when I have someone take care of my pets! I will treat your space with respect and make sure to follow your instructions.

About: Hello! I grew up with large dogs and upon moving out from my home have had dogs, fish, and cats ever since. I have cared for large dogs, small dogs, and cats for over 20 years. I currently have three incredibly friendly and easy going dogs, including a remarkable Labrador retriever pup. I am currently retiring from a career in federal law enforcement. I am available most days and nights for your pets care. I understand the importance of pet diets, exercise, and socialization and make it a priority. My home is my pets home. We have a large 1.5 acre invisible fenced in yard surrounded by woods and a long front yard away from the road. The other dogs tend to stick together and my lab puppy learned the yard by just following around our German shorthaired pointer and older mastiff. Any other questions just ask!

About: I have previously owned two dogs, lived with my mom who has three, and now currently own one. I’m able to administer oral medications. And, I love all dogs of any size! I work full time at a daycare Monday-Friday but always have the weekends off. I’m able to work around my own schedule to fit your needs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but if the weather is great I usually take my dogs to a nearby dog park in Guilford to play.

About: With over two years of dedicated care for my beloved Cavapoo and a profound passion for canine companionship, my experience speaks volumes about my commitment to providing top-notch service as a dog walker and sitter. What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience and deep understanding of canine behavior. Having raised my Cavapoo from puppyhood, I am well-versed in the unique needs and quirks of different breeds and individual personalities. This allows me to tailor my approach to each furry friend, ensuring they receive the personalized care and attention they deserve. I work from home, remotely, and part-time, with flexible hours, so I can accommodate a variety of days and times. I am available on the weekends as well. My backyard is quite spacious, with various playpen sizes to accommodate your dog. Additionally, I have a lovely sunroom in the backyard for some relaxation.

About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I have grown up taking care of both dogs and cats! I lovingly cared for my great pyrenees dog for eleven years. I have experience with various breeds and sizes of dogs and am a trusted pet sitter for many of my family and friends. My home base is in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, and I work part-time Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8 am to 3:30 pm. My schedule is flexible and changing. I love to play with animals and shower them with affection! I can crate your pet as needed and provide a safe and loving environment while you are away.

About: I have had animals my entire life. Growing up with sheep, a goat, a horse, cats, several dogs and even hamsters. In my adult life we have had several chickens. I now have a 10 month old rescue, Fortune, who is mostly Lab with some Great Dane. My schedule is pretty flexible. Once the kids are off to school I am free during the day. I can also be available in the evening. Currently I am not offering services in my home as my yard is not a fenced yard. I ma more than happy to care for your pets in your home.

About: Hey there! My dog sitting experience goes back to when I was 10 and became the neighborhood dog sitter. I took care of dogs as small as 10 pounds and as large as a Great Dane. I continued walking dogs in college through Wag! My own dog has suffered many health problems due to his breed. Through him, I've gained experience with supporting him in his recovery of a back injury, eye problems, and two emergency surgeries after swallowing items whole (he's not the brightest dog out there). I'm patient and will not leave a dog until I know I have done everything in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Lastly, I know it can be uncomfortable to have a stranger enter your home and take care of your pet. I am always open to meeting in a public space ahead of time. I am currently unemployed and therefore available all days and times. I do appreciate a heads up incase I am scheduling a job interview or traveling. With my own dog, I have learned to make sure the home is free of toys and choke sized objects, even though my dog is no longer a puppy. If I am caring for a dog that has been inside all day, I will go out of my way to make sure they have a thorough walk and chance to empty their bladder. While working with Wag! I would communicate any concerns or changes in a dog to their owner.

Daniela G.
“I can’t say enough great things about Daniela. I always feel completely at ease leaving our doggie in her care. She is incredibly attentive, keeping us updated with daily photos and messages, and treated our dog like family. When we came home, our dog was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief to know we have someone we can trust. Highly recommend to any fellow dog parent.”

Samantha S.

“I cannot imagine a better pet sitter or dog walker than Samantha! Samantha has been my best resource since getting my dog, Kaia, three years ago. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things canine, and is always my first choice to watch or keep my pup company! Kaia absolutely loves spending time with Sam and gets so excited every time she sees her, and I love that I can trust Sam to keep Kaia safe and happy when I'm not around. No more guilt inducing sad puppy eyes when I leave Kaia somewhere because, when Sam is around, she couldn't care less about me walking out the door! If you're looking for someone to love on your pets when you are gone, look no further. Sam is the perfect choice and you will have absolutely zero regrets about leaving your loved one in her extremely capable hands!”

“I've known Sarah for over a decade and would highly recommend her as a pet caregiver. She's taken care of our dogs, fish, chickens, and plants and done a great job. I've also seen how well she does taking care of pets that require a higher level of care such as young kittens, very large dogs, and animals with medical needs. She's very responsible and adept with animals. When she commits to anything she gives it her all, and this is especially true for taking care of pets. She's the first person I go to for dogsitting and plant care when I go out of town.”

Nicolette P.
“Nicolette is amazing with animals and she always has been. In her life she has had many dogs that she cared for tremendously. She would care for anyone else’s dogs as if they were her own family. I would absolutely trust her to watch my dog and anyone else’s dog.”
