“Skylar was great with my dog Karly, very communicative and friendly! My dog is often shy with new people, but she loved her right away! Definitely would recommend her for pet parents and will book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life. I currently volunteer at Lucky Dog Refuge in Stamford. Have my own dog Ellie who’s 5 years old. I’m currently retired and volunteer at Lucky Dog Refuge in Stamford 1-2 days a week so I have plenty of available time to care for other dogs. I walk and play with my dog regularly and give her lots of loving care. Lots of experience walking dogs at Lucky Dog Refuge in Stamford.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve had cats for as long as I can remember and have spent the past 15 years caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m especially experienced with large breeds, pit bulls, and senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with care, comfort, and consistency. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or a quiet evening in, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and at home I have a full time job but work from home every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We have a cozy house and yard and am happy to drop by! I have a super fun and well behaved (big) dog named Louie, who is a huge softy but a lot of fun. We also have a loving cat named Woodstock! We also have a separate floor I can keep the animals on if necessary.

“I needed someone to walk my dog a few days while at work and Chase was great! Very dependable and gave me updates so I didn't have to worry about my pup. I'd definitely book him again!”

About: I’m an avid animal lover and have been caring for pets since I was 6 years old. I grew up with three dogs and a cat and was always actively involved in their daily care, from walks, feedings, to playtime, and vet visits. I currently have two dogs who live in Florida with my parents, since moving to Connecticut for work I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like. That’s a big reason I’m excited to dog and cat sit — I truly miss having animals around and the joy they bring. I treat every fur baby like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! I work a full time hybrid job with no requirement for being in office and also have half days on Fridays. If I need to be in office, I have an hour lunch break to allow for potty breaks and can flex my time to best accommodate your fur baby. If your pet is more comfortable staying at your house, I can drop by to let them out or stay over if that’s your preference. Whatever makes you and your fur babies the most comfortable. My roommate has a 1 year old Maltese Pomeranian named Dune, who is house trained and very sociable. There are space within my apartment where I can crate your pet away from my roommate Dune or I have space to have them roam if you prefer. I love to play around with animals if they like to play or I can hang around and read my books. Here to make your time away as stress free as possible.
About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. Growing up with two dogs of my own, I've always been surrounded by animals whether it's through family, friends, and dog sitting during the holidays. As an avid walker, I truly enjoy spending time outdoors, and I'm excited to share that passion with your pet. I take pride in being reliable, professional and always putting the safety and well-being of your dog as my top priority. If there's anyway I can assist with your pet's needs, I'd love the opportunity to help them stay happy and healthy! I work from home Monday through Friday, 9AM - 5PM, with a flexible schedule. I take short or extended breaks every 2-3 hours, giving me plenty of opportunities to step outside and care for your pet. I live in a two-bedroom, non-smoking apartment with no children, offering a quiet and safe environment for your pet. The apartment complex features a fenced-in dog park.
About: I have a TON of experience caring for senior dogs, anxious dogs, dogs who pull, dogs who bark when there’s a squirrel on the TV. I have been a trusted dog-sitter and dog-walker of friends, neighbors, and family for years. The only thing I should warn you about is that your dog may love me so much they don’t want to come home! I am currently on break from nursing school, so I basically have all the free time in the world for your furry critter. I start school up again in mid January, but my schedule is flexible. I live in a one-bedroom apartment and I don’t own a crate, because I don’t have a dog of my own. There is about 600 sq ft for your pup to play, and they will get frequent walks around the neighborhood. I also live very close to parks/dog parks.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old and picked out the cutest black Lab/ border Collie mix named Memphis. Growing up with dogs and living with dogs has been such an important part of my life. My Mom even says I love dogs more than her! Friends have trusted me to take their dogs on walks, house-sit and just go over for some play-time. I'm currently working part-time on my next venture and can work from anywhere! This means my time is very flexible and can help out during all hours of the week. I consider myself a very caring and detail oriented person. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, per your instructions. I also pride myself on being a very clean individual and will take great care of your home.
“It was our first time having Hanaya help us out and she was upbeat and positive from the beginning. She cared for my two CKCS’s like they were her own. She shows a true love for dogs and her experience with them shows. I highly recommend her!”

“Nicole was fabulous I expect at a minimum that dog walkers would be good with dogs, but what really makes the difference is they’re able to navigate challenges and get the job done. It provides a lot of peace of mind. Not only did Nicole navigate my complicated building but she got what was once a very timid puppy to be less afraid. Nicole is a star.”

“Katharine is absolutely wonderful! She’s reliable, caring and clearly loves dogs. My dog is so excited every time she arrives, and I always know he’s in great hands. She sends updates and photos after each walk. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind!”

West Side dog parents share their Rover experiences
I recently used Nicole to have a meet /greet and walk my dog Aria. I couldn't be happier with the experience! Aria is anxious and Nicole was warm and incredibly reliable and professional during her time with Aria. Aria responded so well to her ease and confidence. She seems to have a special way with dogs; Aria was happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Arianne. She was our regular dog walker for Boosh and Graham, and we are genuinely heartbroken that she’s moving away. From day one, Arianne was incredibly reliable — always prompt, on time, and extremely communicative. We never once had to worry when the dogs were in her care. What truly set Arianne apart was the way she cared for our dogs as if they were her own. She was attentive, thoughtful, and clearly took the time to understand their personalities and needs. Boosh and Graham absolutely adored her, and it was obvious how comfortable and happy they were with her. Arianne consistently went above and beyond, whether through detailed updates, photos, or simply the peace of mind she gave us knowing our dogs were safe, loved, and well cared for. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her — we would continue using her forever if we could. We give Arianne our highest possible recommendation without hesitation!

Teresa was amazing with my 1 year old puppy! She had great communication from the start and made sure to ask thoughtful, thorough questions- even checking in about where I was comfortable having my dog walked. I really appreciated the detailed update and adorable photos she sent. It’s always nerve wracking having someone new watch your fur baby, but I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in her care. I’ll definitely be booking with Teresa again!

Katharine is absolutely wonderful! She’s reliable, caring and clearly loves dogs. My dog is so excited every time she arrives, and I always know he’s in great hands. She sends updates and photos after each walk. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind!

Sarah is the absolute best! Super reliable, trustworthy, communicative and my dog absolutely adores her. She really goes above and beyond to provide the best service and make sure the dogs are happy, safe and loved. 10 out of 10 service. She’s also very flexible and has saved me a few times in last minute requests. Would highly recommend.
