I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, but through my experience on Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for many different dogs with a wide range of personalities, sizes, energy levels, and individual needs. Over time, I’ve learned how important it is to take the time to understand each pet and adapt my care to what makes them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. From energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to more relaxed or anxious pups who need patience and reassurance, I’ve become comfortable adjusting my approach to each dog’s unique routine and personality. I’m attentive, patient, and reliable, and I take pride in providing the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own pets. I’m also communicative throughout each stay or visit, sending updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Every dog has taught me something new, and I’ve really enjoyed growing my experience and becoming a more confident and knowledgeable pet sitter along the way.

I provide care in your pet’s home so they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care needs. For dogs, I make sure they get the exercise, attention, and companionship they need through walks and active time. For cats, I keep things calm and consistent, maintaining litter boxes and giving attention based on their comfort level. I’m very respectful of your home and always keep things clean and organized while I’m there. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

Shannon is a responsible, kind and trustworthy caretaker of Ziggy, our doodle. She was very attentive of Ziggy, helpful in preparing his meals (which involves cooking), and sent me plenty of updates. Ziggy is not a dog who trusts easily, but he loved Shannon from the get go. Shannon stayed at my house for a few nights and was a lovely house guest. I am relieved to have found her and cannot say enough great things about her!
Shannon was a great sitter for our holiday weekend out of town! She is very friendly and responded quickly. She sent a bunch of photos which made us feel more at ease leaving our babies at home. She also helped watering the flowers and garden outside. We are happy with her service and would gladly hire her again.

Schedule
I have one part time job with set hours, but I still have plenty of availability throughout the day to provide attentive and reliable pet care. My work schedule is mainly concentrated in the afternoon , which allows me to spend a significant amount of time with pets outside of those scheduled hours. My current work schedule is: • Monday: Open availability • Tuesday: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM • Wednesday: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM • Thursday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM • Friday: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM • Saturday: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM • Sunday: Open availability I’m comfortable working around each pet’s routine and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and care. My schedule does have some flexibility, so the hours listed above aren’t always set in stone. I’m always happy to see if I can make the schedule work and find an arrangement that works well for both you and your pet.

- It’s important for me to know as much as possible about your pet ahead of time so I can provide the best care. This includes their daily routines (feeding, walks, playtime), any medical conditions or medications, behavioral quirks, and how they interact with other pets or people. I also like to know what comforts or stresses them, their favorite toys, and any rules or boundaries you have at home. Having this information helps me make your pet feel safe, happy, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands
