About: Talley’s House has two adults that work from home, two teenage dog loving sons, and two pups, Talley (12+) and Oz (2) that love to meet and play with new friends! We have a great setup for dogs of all types, and we would love to watch your dog(s)! We acknowledge we may not be right for everyone. Please read all the details in our profile to determine if our home is right for you. We work from home - pet care is baked into our daily/weekly routine. A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. See the safety, trust & environment section for details. 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. treats and training followed by quiet time in kennels 4:00 - 6:00 p.m interactive playtime round 2 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. evening feeding and quiet time in kennels 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. final playtime and bedtime routine (treats and training) 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. bedtime in kennels We prefer pickup/dropoff times between 7:00 - 10:00 a.m or 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. so we can devote time to helping the dogs adjust to the environment and their temporary pack. The only thing we need from you at drop off is their food in a ZIPLOC w INSTRUCTIONS WRITTEN on it. If needed, bring a small blanket or toy with the scent of home. We do NOT need beds, food dishes, or leash. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

About: I have had pets all my life, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds. You name it, I have probably had it. I love all pets but especially dogs! I have taken all the dogs I have own to training and love being with them. I own 2 dogs now. 1 is named Koda and she is a full golden retriever and the other is Lucy, she is a Golden retriever/ Lab mix. They are indoor lovable dogs. I believe that dogs are apart of the family, so in my house they are allowed to be on the furniture to cuddled with! I am a stay at home mom and have 2 dogs. Your dogs will be walked (when it is not crazy hot out) Loved on and played with while you are away! I am happy to send daily pictures of your pups if you would like! I have a fenced yard for them to play in. A crate for your pups bed if you are more comfortable with them in one rather than on a bed or couch. I have 2 dogs for yours to play with and 3 kids, aged 11,13 and 15 who love and respect dogs. I love to play fetch with dogs and other games. We even have a small splash pool for the dogs to play in.

About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, attention and companionship your dog will receive while in my care. I've spent more than 25 years around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I've trained several of my own. This experience helps me understand different personalities and adapt to each dog's unique needs. I work from home, so dogs in my care are rarely left alone and receive plenty of supervision throughout the day. To ensure every pet gets the attention they deserve, I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time. This allows me to provide a more personalized experience and helps each dog feel comfortable, safe and at home. Whether your dog loves to be active or prefers a quieter environment, I tailor their stay to fit their needs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, play time in the yard, and visiting the dog park for dogs that are social and enjoy that environment. My home is filled with love, attention, and plenty of opportunities for play, cuddles, and companionship. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I'm already caring for my own dog. I am a stay at home mom, so your dog will have plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day—not long hours alone. I have a dog of my own and make exercise and enrichment a priority, whether that's trips to the dog park, walks around the neighborhood, playtime in our fenced yard, or one-on-one activities tailored to your dog's personality and comfort level. Because I'm always home and have a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of drop-off and pick-up times. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and part of the family while you're away. I like to care for every pet as if they were my own while making sure to follow their owner's routine and preferences as close as possible. I prioritize safety, affection and plenty of stimulation. I follow a normal 2x a day feeding schedule, provide regular potty breaks, daily exercise/playtime and a comfortable place to relax. I can also administer oral medication if needed. I pay close attention to each dog's personality and energy level so they feel comfortable and stress-free during their stay.

About: K-9 Care Crew A loving family care team for your pet We are a retired dad and two children team that will provide your pet with constant attention and care. We have a loving home with a very large enclosed backyard. Your dog would not just be in their kennel but in our home as part of our family. I only watch one dog at a time unless it's from the same family because it's not about the money as much as ensuring your dog gets all of our complete attention and love. Your dog will usually get a minimum of one walk a day... (usually on the Spanish Fork River Trail when weather permits) We will go out of our way to accommodate special requests when needed. Your pet will love coming on vacation to our home !!! Love is the vibe here ❤️ Since I'm retired I am completely available for your dog. Occasionally, I have to leave to go to the store or to the gym etc... but am extremely responsible so I would prefer to be with your dog as much as possible while it is in my care ❤️ We have a very large fenced in backyard for your pet to enjoy. We also will take your dog on walks daily. Also, we would not keep your dog in it's kennel for the most part but allow it to join our family and be with us most of the time.
