“Erin cared for my 2 cats and 1 dog for 10 days while I was out of the country on vacation. She communicated daily, sent pictures and I was able to enjoy my trip knowing my pets and home were in good hands. I came home to happy pets and my house was in order and just as I left it. Erin is my go to person and I highly recommend her!!”

“CLAIRE was a 100/10!! Her care of our dog was absolutely amazing! He usually is very nervous and gets upset when we are away and he was so comfortable with her the entire time we were gone. It made our vacation 1000 times more relaxing. We can’t thank her enough!”

“Kara is the best. She did a great job caring for both our older dog and our young, energetic and not yet fully-trained puppy. I highly recommend her. She clearly loves the animals.”

“Keyonnah is the best dog sitter I have used! Her gentle demeanor and love of pets, put my dog at ease and I felt 100 % comfortable leaving my pet in her care for 8 days. Keyonnah is reliable, responsible and extremely affordable. I will definitely continue to hire Keyonnah as needed.”

“Rina was great with our dogs. They instantly bonded with her due to her warm and welcoming nature. She sent us frequent pictures and updates while we were away. She spent a week at our home with our dogs, which we believe they enjoyed. We will not hesitate to use her again when needed and could not recommend her highly enough.”

“Beth was great with our animals! She kept us up-to-date on how things were going, made sure we got pictures, and spent a lot of time with them the week we were gone. The house looked great when we got home, and the animals seemed to have had a great time!”

About: I’m very easy going. I love to take them for walks, get them a pup cup, parks, etc.. If they have meds or a certain diet that’s not a problem. As well as if they have any other specific needs, I will make sure to meet them. You can expect regular updates and pictures if wanted. I believe every dog should get love and attention so I will make sure not to be a stranger to them! Hope they love their tummy tickled too! Let me know if you have any questions:) I work at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, I am part time from 7am-1pm. I do online schooling therefore I would only be gone during the morning/ afternoon. The rest of the day is fully for the pups! In my clients home they have either a fenced yard or a shock collar to keep them in. One of my clients has specific diets and medication for both of their dogs and prefers if they are walked daily as well! (no extra charge for walking ofc). They text me the details or they write on a piece of paper and leave notes. I have no problem following directions, it is better to be more specific though when telling them. And I do send pics and update my clients if asked or necessary!
About: I have been taking care of various sized animals for the past several years. I am comfortable giving medications if need be and following any special instructions you may have for your four-legged babies! I am currently in college classes full time Monday-Thursday, however after 1pm I am fully available! This is not a hindrance at all when caring for your pets in your home. I prefer to stay in your home if watching your animals for an extended period of time, but if you are not comfortable with that I certainly understand and am happy to visit your house throughout the day as needed to attend to your furry loved ones!
“Kaela was an amazing sitter. She was super professional and easy to reach out to. She took an amazing care of our little Bruno who has certain medical conditions. I wouldn’t think twice to get her service again in future!”

About: As a detail-oriented college student, I bring a high level of responsibility and energy to pet sitting. Whether your dog needs a high-intensity power walk or a calm afternoon of companionship, I’m dedicated to following your care instructions to the letter. I have experience with a variety of breeds and energy levels, ensuring every pup stays on their routine and feels loved. I’m punctual, observant, and ready to treat your pet like my own. I currently work park time at OSF medical center and go to school full-time at Illinois State University, I live in peoria and commute daily. Most days I have class in the morning and work at night but am free in the afternoons. Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in Bloomington from 7am-7pm. I currently have an adorable havanese poodle and also had a wheaten terrier in the past. I’m well versed in caring for intelligent, affectionate, and high maintenance breeds. I understand the importance of consistent grooming, mental stimulation, and plenty of lap time! I treat every dog with the same patience and specialized attention I give my own.
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid and have had dogs in my family since I was six years old, so taking care of pets has always been a normal part of my life. Over the years, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood and have handled up to five animals at a time, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning up, and giving medications when needed. I’ve also taken care of puppies, including handling a full week of puppy care on my own, so I understand the extra patience and attention they need. I treat every pet like it’s my own, take responsibility seriously, and make sure owners can relax knowing their animals are safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention. Pet care fits naturally into my routine and is something I genuinely enjoy making time for. I work full-time from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but I’m available after work every day for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I’m also able to do overnight stays as long as they fit into my schedule. I plan my days around responsibilities and commitments, and when I’m caring for someone’s pet, they become a real priority—not an afterthought. I enjoy building my routine around animals and making sure they get attention, exercise, and consistent care. I take trust and safety very seriously because I know pets are family. I carefully follow all instructions, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, or house rules. I always keep a close eye on each pet’s behavior and needs and make sure they’re in a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I’m careful about doors, gates, and home security, and I never take unnecessary risks. I also send photos and updates during each visit or stay so owners can see their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. I treat every home with respect and every pet like my own, and my goal is always for owners to feel completely comfortable and stress-free while they’re away.
About: My family has had dogs my whole life! I have 2 pups of my own at home. I currently volunteer for a service dog program and have puppy raised and fostered many of the program’s dogs for an extended period of time. I customize my schedule on a weekly basis according to school and my part time job. I am a college student and I work at night 2 nights a week, so my availability should be open the majority of the day. For the days you may book with me, your pup(s) will be my priority. I can crate your dog, if needed. The time spent with your dog will vary based on your daily routine, I’ll try to match it to the best of my ability!
“De’Aysia was amazing as always! She sent lots of pictures and videos the whole weekend I was gone. It was very comforting to see my pups being taken care of so well. I will definitely continue to use her in the future!”

“Sami did a great job with Duke and Daisy. She made us feel very relaxed by updating us occasionally with texts and pictures. The dogs loved her and we definitely felt comfortable having her in our home. We will definitely book again.”

About: Hello, my name is Olivia and I have always had a love and passion for all types of animals, dogs especially. I have experience in being around larger dogs after being raised with a golden retriever and two german shepherds. Me and my husband now own a Bernese Mountain Dog who we love and care for so much. I am very active and love walking, hiking and running outdoors. Taking your dog out for walks would be very enjoyable and fun for me to do on a daily basis. No breed, size or age of your dog is intimidating for me to get along with and spend time with. I am very responsible, trust-worthy, professional and passionate about everything I do. I am a full time freelancer who works from home so I can be available to help with anything as my schedule is very flexible.
West Peoria pet parents share their Rover experiences
Theodore is very personable and good with our puppies. If something comes up or he has any questions, he’s not afraid to ask which is important since one of our puppies has health issues. Very flexible and understanding given our situation. Will definitely be booking for our next travel plans. Thanks Theo!

Adrianna stayed with our two spoiled pups as we went out of town overnight and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. She sent pics to calm our nerves and when we returned we could tell our pups had a great time. The house was just as clean if not cleaner than when we left! We’ll absolutely be using Adrianna again.

Keyonnah is the best dog sitter I have used! Her gentle demeanor and love of pets, put my dog at ease and I felt 100 % comfortable leaving my pet in her care for 8 days. Keyonnah is reliable, responsible and extremely affordable. I will definitely continue to hire Keyonnah as needed.

I couldn't be happier with the care or pet City provider for three dogs over the weekend. From the moment we met, she was kind, professional and clearly passionate about animals. She kept me updated with photos and messages which would give me peace of mind while I was away. When I returned, the dogs were happy, relaxed and clearly well care for. It is not easy managing tripods, but she handle it like a pro. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter. We will definitely be booking her again
