“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I am an avid pet lover who has taken care of many animals over the years, including my own who got very ill but is thankfully in remission. Neighbors, friends and family have all relied on me to look at their loved furry friends both in my own home and as well their home depending on the desired environment for their pets comfort. If selected for your care, activities would include walks, run time in my fence in backyard, toy time and snacks if provided or approved with any dietary restrictions honored. I currently work from home so time spent with them will be flexible and could be worked around at your leisure. I work full time, however my hours and days are very flexible so I will have plenty of time to spoil your pets during the day, or overnight. About: I am currently getting my bachelor's in animal behavior and care. I've had many bteeds of dog from small to large as well as cats. I love all breeds and I am open minded to all animals. Even the scaly ones. I have 3 cats and a dog with ptsd from their previous owner. I work but am more then able to adjust my schedule in order to pet sit. About: I've been surrounded with pets my whole life! I grew up with dogs and cats. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I have experience with puppies and kittens to seniors; from chihuahuas to 115+ lbs doggos. My pup is 6.5 year old, high energy, anxious Aussie mix with a lot of needs but is the most loveable guy. I work fully remote and am happy to accommodate your schedule as you need so that your pet is the most comfortable they can be while you're gone. The comfort of your pet is key! I know that different pets have different needs and am happy to accommodate. I'm used to helping with senior dogs who have a hard time on hard wood floors to young dogs who have lots of energy to release, dogs who can be off leash in their yard to dogs who need to be on a leash at all times, pets who have sensitive tummies to pets who can and will eat everything. One thing that really matters to me is making sure your pet is getting the time and attention they need! I've dog sat for people in the past who have had previous dog sitters who do too quick of potty breaks and who have not given enough attention during those breaks. I've cat sat for people who have had sitters not clean the litter box until the last day. I'm hyper aware of these sad realities and will give your pet the love and attention they deserve. I'm the kind of person that will print out an instruction sheet for my dog sitter. Pets are important members of our family and should be treated as so!

About: I have had dogs in my household all my life. They’ve become my family and I care for them as such. I am a dependable student who spends all of her spare time loving her cats and dogs, animals are one of my passions. Currently, I have two dogs in my household who I take care of and love everyday. Personally I don’t go out of town a lot regularly so I’m available most days but I will update my schedule regularly if I will be out of town. I’m open to staying at your house to watch them, or just dropping by to let them outside, or even just to make sure they feel safe while you’re gone. About: I have had my own dogs my whole life. Since being married in 1994 we have had 2-3 dogs at a time. We currently have two sweet dogs. One is a toy Berniedoodle and the other is a lab/bordercollie. I am the one in our family that does the puppy training. I am a retired school teacher. I am home most days unless I have errands to run. I love to take our dogs for walks. I have two friendly dogs. One of our dogs is very playful. The other is shy at first but warms up. They are crate trained at night. We have a dog door so our dogs go in and out all day. We have an extra crate if needed. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture for snuggles.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs. I have most experience with big dogs like Rottweilers, labs, and pitbulls (not that big I know). I’ve taken care of and helped train puppies and toddler dogs as well as senior dogs. Currently have a white pitbull mix who deals with allergies and skin issues who I trained myself. I’m happy to handle any and all quirks and requests you or your pet may have. I know what it’s like to feel like a burden when looking for a dog sitter because they need a specific feeding method or a weird ritual for potty time. I’m currently a student at Illinois Central College. I have free time most days over the summer. My availability will be a bit more limited in the fall. I am comfortable with all types of pets and all that comes with them. I have lots of experience picking up and cleaning up after animals as well as crate training if needed, skin care, giving medicine, grooming, clothing, or anything else you might need/want.

My long term care slots are filled up now! I have my daily daycare routine worked out pretty well, so I can do walks and/or pop-ins if necessary! “As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I, like everyone else on here, have been a pet owner and lover for years. My pets are my children, because I don’t want or have any human children. Can walk at lightning fast speed or crawl speed—whichever your dog prefers. The heat doesn’t bother me as long as we both have a tall glass of water waiting for us at the end of the journey. Will take to parks if that’s okay and can interact with my loveable Great Pyrenees if that’s cool with you.
