“We needed someone to watch our fur babies for 3+ weeks so really wanted to find someone amazing and boy we got lucky! Diana took such great care of them that they basically got their own vacation while we were on our vacation! She sent me pics/videos/updates about what they like to do daily which put us at ease. My kids looked forward to Diana’s daily updates:) We already rebooked her for our next vacation!”

“My dog always comes home so happy and content after being in Nickole's care :) She's always great about updating me throughout the stay. I'm never worried as I know he's is in good hands!”

“This was out first time using Rover and leaving my 1 year old Shepard mix puppy with anyone. Bernard and Hung took such good care of him, sent me photos and videos of him playing with other dogs in their closed safe and warm backyard. They were very responsive and always got back to me as soon as possible. Further, our return flight was delayed and they were gracious enough to have him a few hours longer to accommodate our delayed pick up. Thank you both so much, we really appreciated it :)”

“Al and Dody were amazing! They sent the cutest pictures everyday and kept me updated with all the fun walks and activities they were doing. I never worried about Addison during our 10 day trip. Thank you Al and Dody:)”

“Shannon did great with dog Loki. It was my first time using rover and she kept me posted all the time and sent me some great pictures. I could tell that Loki had a blast playing with Shannon’s dogs and her kids. I definitely recommend her and I’ll contact her again in the future to babysit my dog.”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life, but I did not realize how deep that love could be until I adopted my first dog, Flynn, 11 years ago. He was a 90lb German Shepherd with reactivity towards other dogs, which led me down the path of learning everything I could about canine behavior and training. I have taken multiple dog training classes focused on positive reinforcement techniques and have used tools such as clicker training, prong collars, and e-collars. I learned how to navigate situations in which Flynn was reactive, making sure I had full control of a very strong dog at all times. I raised Flynn from 8 weeks old (puppy shark phase) to his calmer senior years. The challenges I faced with Flynn taught me how to read canine body language, manage reactivity, and handle high energy, strong dogs with patience and love. After losing Flynn, I thought I could never get another dog again, but come February 2024, I welcomed 7-week-old GSD mix Artemis (Artie) into my life. It has been a completely different training experience in much more challenging ways. From potty training to crate training and leash manners, she has tested everything I have learned (and helped me learn more). Every challenge and every puppy shark bite has been completely worth it. She is now thriving and continues to learn thanks to consistency, structure, and ongoing enrichment. I also have hands-on experience with senior dog care. I started caring for our elderly family dog (Socrates) after my father passed away 4 years ago. He is now a 14-year-old Dachshund Terrier mix with limited mobility and some incontinence. I provide daily care, including hygiene and administering medication, and provide a clean, comforting environment to support his quality of life. He is getting a lot of treats and love in my care. My goal is to build trust and communication to maintain a safe environment for dogs and others. Whether your dog is a puppy in training, a reactive adult, or a senior who needs special attention, I bring patience and knowledgeable care. Every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours special. I'd love to meet them and offer care you can trust. My life revolves around my sweet pup, Artemis (aka Artie). This means that besides work and taking care of her needs, I am quite open. I work remotely some days and can drop in on your babies during the day or in the evenings. On the weekends my availability is wide open. Building trust through consistent communication is important to me. Since I know that every dog is different, I understand each has individual needs and am eager to learn them. As a dog owner, I also understand how important it is for someone who is caring for your dog to know your dog and know what they need (I'm the type who writes a whole manual for any sitter). In my home, I have a senior dog who likes his alone time and an energetic, young GSD mix dog. For daycare, your pups can interact as little or as much as appropriate. I also have a small fenced yard where I can play with the dogs.
“Alvaro was amazing and always kept me updated with quick responses and pictures. I was really nervous about how my dog would behave but he provided great comfort and understood that dogs have anxiety too. Super great!”

“Left our dog Karma with Patricia for almost 3 weeks which is the longest stretch he has ever been boarded and we were relieved to see him come home relaxed and happy. We are very pleased with Patricia's care and would not hesitate to have her take care of Karma again in the future.”

“Donovan was amazing! Clifford came home a healthy and happy pup. He loved all the exercise and zoomies in Donovan’s fenced yards, and it was clear that he was given lots of pets and affection. As a huge unexpected bonus, Donovan even worked with Clifford on his on-leash walking. Donovan was communicative and responsive, sending us plenty of pictures and videos of Clifford throughout the weekend. I highly recommend Donovan for dog boarding services and we will 100% be booking with him again!”

“We are so appreciative that we found, Candi! She sent pictures of our pet while we were away, which really made us feel better. I absolutely recommend Candi! If we ever need a sitter for our little one we will be bringing her back! If I could give Candi 10 stars I would!! If you’re looking for a sitter then look no further!! ?”

“I think Sunny’s reviews speak for themselves. I was nervous about leaving my buddy with someone I did not know but she agreed to do a meet and great beforehand. I have an 8 year old Boxer and he loved it. I would highly recommend”
“dottie had a great time with ray and his pups! ray was super attentive to dottie’s needs and was sure to send me pics and updates! definitely rebooking next time i go out of town!”

“Bennie and Jennie have been such kind and attentive caretakers of my kitty. I truly appreciate how accommodating they are especially for specific drop off / pick up needs. Very very grateful to have found such nice cat sitters!”

“1000% yes. Claudia’s house is Disneyland for dogs. Right up the street from the theme parks. They had the best layout for their doggy guests. Couches & beds & romping space… it’s like ymca camp for dogs. Avon had so much fun. We got tons of photos and videos throughout Avons 3 night stay. The other dogs are respectful and well behaved. Makes my heart melt - such an awesome & inspiring home.”

“Dulce was AMAZING with our Frenchie, Buhbuh. She asked all the right questions and we felt at ease leaving our boy with her. We got photo and video updates daily. Her communication was friendly and helpful. Buhbuh had such a great time with Dulce, he didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend and will definitely book her again the next time we need a sitter! Thank you to the moon and back, Dulce!”

“We feel confident that our dogs were in good hands with Natalia. She sent us plenty of updates, was responsive with any questions we had during the boarding, and even followed up after the boarding was over to check in on our pups. We love that she made our dogs part of her family, bringing them to one of her son's activities. This is especially helpful for our younger dog Nicko who really benefits from opportunities to socialize. It was obvious that Nicko and Nola were comfortable with Natalia and that they would enjoy staying in her home again.”

“Sung and his family provided great care for our pup. They took her to the beach a couple of times--which she loves. Thank you for giving her a nice home environment while we were away.”

West Grove Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
Shannon is the best!!! What a great experience 😀. Luna was so happy spending 1 week at Shannon’s place 😃. Was Luna’s first stay with Shannon but will definitely come back next time. We got pictures and videos of Luna every day - special thanks for the cute New Year outfit and decor, outstanding efforts, greatly appreciated ☺️; very smooth communication, always responsive and trustworthy. Thank you for all the care and love for Luna, Shannon. 🙏
First time being away from our babies for the holidays and I’m glad I chose Elizabeth and her mom to take care of them! My dogs settled in nicely and have a great time there. They send plenty of photos and updates on how they are doing. They seem happy and also sleepy in the photos :)

Fumihiko is absolutely the best! We cannot recommend Fumihiko enough. He provided an absolutely outstanding experience for our dog. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew our pup was in the best hands. He truly treated our dog like family. Our dog was showered with attention including regular and fun walks. It was clear he was active and happy. The communication was fantastic. Fumihiko is incredibly detailed and communicative which gave us so much peace of mind. He was very easy to talk to and was always sure to send us plenty of pictures and updates. His entire family is wonderful making the environment incredibly warm and loving. They are all the best!

Chris is the best! He passed the vibe check with our Malinois instantly and was warm, welcoming, and very informative. His watching over Omega exceeded our expectations. The property is well-equipped for dog fun and safety! Chris provided exceptional care, cuddles, detailed feedback, and lots of playtime. Omega made friends for life with Chris and his dogs. We highly recommend and will absolutely be booking with Chris again!

Geraldin and her daughters provided fantastic care for my little Max! I was in a pinch in that he can’t be left alone due to his separation anxiety AND he couldn’t be around other dogs because of a respiratory infection he got from another sitter who had too many dogs. Geraldin was flexible with my chaotic schedule and was so kind and reassuring! I was so grateful I could depend on her. She sent a lot of photos and updates and I felt at ease knowing max always in good hands!

Nate and Natalie are always great with our high energy border collie! She loves getting spoiled with toys, walks, and plenty of playtime with their pup Ari. This time we went away on a longer trip overseas and it was a huge comfort knowing she was in good hands - and getting a fun vacation of her own! Definitely a go-to for our dog sitting needs.
