About: Growing up on a farm taught me to care for all animals with gentleness and respect. I have eperience training our puppy who is now 3 years old. I am all about rewards for positive behavior! I work remotely as an artist and I am a stay at home mom! My week days are very flexible since I make my own schedule. I am available Monday-Saturday anytime from 8-5, unless otherwise noted. I play interactive games with our dog and love taking her on long walks. Fun exercise is so good for dogs! I will do the same for your pups as I do my own.

About: Hi there! I’m Amy, a lifelong dog lover and dog mom to Riley, a sweet and sensitive 3 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. I’m from the DC area, lived in NYC and Philly after college, and moved to Columbus in fall of 2024 with my partner Jake. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house on the border of Victorian Village and Harrison West. We both work from home and have a fenced backyard, so your dog will have plenty of space to explore and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pup is playful or prefers alone time, I’m here to make sure they feel safe and loved. One of the reasons I started doing Rover is because I wanted to find friends for Riley to spend time with during the day. He enjoys playing with dogs who are around his size (30lb) or smaller. I’m excited to meet your pup and would love to set up a meet-and-greet to learn all about their unique personality and needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m home the majority of the day, so I’m able to provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. I’m mindful of each dog’s personality and I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to help them feel at ease.

“Andrew was a wonderful sitter! This was the first time I’ve ever used Rover for Doggy Day Care and it was such a positive experience. Andrew was flexible with us, as we were traveling to and from Cedar Point. He took Piper on several fun, long walks. He lives in a beautiful area, perfect for a pup to relax and also to enjoy nature. He sent pictures and was responsive with updates. I highly recommend him and would definitely rebook.”

“This was my first time entrusting anyone outside of family with Hazel’s care, and I am happy to say that Christina exceeded my expectations. I came home with one happy and well-taken care of pup. She was so kind and updates me very often, which was much appreciated!”

“Tatyana did a great job providing doggy daycare twice a week! I moved to SC and my son in Dublin, OH took care of Louie for a month while I traveled for work. I was so relieved that Louie was well taken care of and happy when my son was at work! He typically doesn’t like other dogs and Tatyana appropriately introduced him slowly to her dog and they became buddies. Louie looked forward going to her house and he’s an anxious picky pup. I highly recommend her!!”

About: PLEASE READ FULL BIO BEFORE SENDING A REQ IT GOES OVER HOUSE RULES AND WORK HOURS💕Ive cared for many animals of many kinds since about 12 years old. I’m 27 now,and have found my closest connection of all animals is with with the dogs. I began my journey to becoming a dog groomer in January of 2019, since then I have done a combination of pet sitting, nannying and dog grooming. I love to groom so if your looking to pamper your pup I am also taking new grooming clients. I am looking to get more into pet sitting and dog walking as I feel it will allow me to connect with the dogs on a deeper level that I at times don’t have time to do with the fast paced industry of grooming.I am CPR certified for canines with pet tech. I work as a dog groomer Wed-Sat from 9-4:30 when I’m not working I’m mostly outside with my dog and certainly don’t mind more companionship! Animals are my passion and I’m eager to grow clientele and make lasting bonds so that your pet feels at home even if they are away from home. I live in a quiet tucked back community that is very low traffic, there are lots of grassy paths through out the neighborhood , I offer oodles of dog toys and am big on disinfecting to prevent any spread of illness to keep our loved ones safe at all times I am CPR certified with pet tech for canines however I am also located 14 minutes from a 24 hour vet in case of any emergency’s, I have cameras in the home as well so that pets can be monitored from my phone at all the times if multiple dogs are in the home or if they choose to take a snooze in any other rooms:) I have a 6 year old neutered male golden(Floyd) that is especially fond of smaller dogs and lady dogs though he gets along with most dogs. In the event your dog does not prefer other dogs Floyd has lots of family that he loves to go visit so that your pup can have the one on one needed.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, parrots, hamsters, fish during all my life. Not only mine, also my friends’ pets. Now I feed squirrels on my backyard (nobody in the house should know about it) I’m available to see my fluffy friends on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - before 6 p.m. and after 9 p.m. , any other day - full-time. I create such atmosphere so that pets can have the time of their life: play hide-and-seek, pat their bellies as much as needed. I don’t give bones to them (if only it’s a toy-bone or kind of snack you bring)!

About: I’m Alexis and I love dogs! There’s truly nothing better than our four-legged friends because of the unconditional loyalty and kindness they give. I believe we should give them all the same love and care because all pups deserve it! I wish I could have them all! They're such a blessing to us and all I want to do is see them happy. My earliest memory of a dog was when I was about three years old. We had a German Shepherd police K-9 who lived in our home named Magnum. I remember laying on him like a pillow on the floor and falling asleep in front of the fire. Around the same time, my dad and I went outside with Magnum to play in the snow. We built a little snowman and threw snowballs for Magnum to catch or bite into a cloud of powder! He was a huge, fluffy dog, but was the sweetest and most loving pup around! Big dogs have always held a special place in my heart. The only thing I don't like about dogs is that we lose them far too early. I prefer to take care of animals in your home due to the fact that I have five to six pets living there at any given time and I wouldn't want there to be any issues. Additionally, watching a dog in their own home allows them to feel comfortable and makes the stay stress-free. I believe that communication is one of the most important aspects of a stay. I prefer to be in contact daily with my owners, sending them pictures and updates. That way, you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! Dogs are kept busy throughout the day, so I usually get some great pictures that the owners appreciate. And the dogs sleep well at night because they are active throughout the day! I always keep my lines of communication open in case any concerns or questions arise, and my responses are always prompt and professional.

“Lynn and Jeff were wonderful! They were willing to help us with only two days notice when we found ourselves without anyone to watch our two labs for several hours. Our pups were well taken care of and we would definitely use them again.”

“Griffey had such a good time with Tracie and her family! They let us come over and make sure he would get along with their dog before and it made us feel so reassured about his visit. They sent updates throughout the day and we are so happy with how everything went. We will definitely ask for Tracie again!”

About: Hello! My name is Siri and I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs, and even lizards! I grew up with large dogs (newfoundlands, to be exact) so they don't scare me away. I am very active so I am more than happy to run with your dog too if you'd prefer a more active walk for them! I raised my own dog from puppyhood and have personally crate trained her, potty trained her, and taught her 15+ tricks/commands. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and I am in the office from 8am - 5pm) Tues-Thurs. I usually take breaks during my work from home days to walk/play with the animals. I have a water carrier/bowl combo bottle for dogs if they get thirsty during their walk, and I also keep treats on me to work on any leash reactivity (using positive reinforcement training). My own dog gets walked four times a day. My cat has a water fountain and lots of toys. The litterboxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned once a month. My cat is fed on a schedule (once in the morning and once in the evening) but I am happy to accomodate any feeding preferences for my clients pets.

About: Animals have my heart. ❤️ While I'm newer to Rover, I've cared for animals for over two decades. I've had lots of my own and fostered many, many others from bottle-fed to seniors. I currently have two Pomeranians (ages 8 and 4) who are very socialized and great with all sizes. My two oldest human children are grown and in college leaving just my 14 year old at home with my husband and I. We are a proud military family and love living in Columbus! I've provided pet care for 20 years and know how tough it is for you to leave your pet, I've been in your shoes as well! I'll send lots of updates and pictures to help ease that anxiety! We have a two story home with a fully fenced in backyard - and my home is animal-proofed! We go on daily walks if the weather cooperates and like going on adventures to the state parks to walk some trails and even go for a dip in the creek of you're comfortable with that! When your pet is here, it's one of our pack! I will only have pets from ONE family at a time. I'm happy to take more than one pup from the same family! I work from home in outsourced accounting so I'm always available and present for your pet in my home or yours! My schedule is flexible so if you only need me to run over periodically or walk your pet, I can do that, too! Safety and trust are important and each pet and client is different. We'll discuss in clear detail what you and your pet need prior to sitting for them. I'll provide pictures and updates to help ease any anxiety about you being away from your furry best friend. Only one family's pets are boarded at a time. Your furry friends will get our focus and attention during our stay!

About: I worked as a veterinary technician for 2 years. My mom is a veterinarian so I grew up with plenty of critters to care for! I have done all of my dog Akira’s training and she is a working breed so I have a vast understanding of dog behavior and tons of patience. I am currently a part time student due to the veterinary practice I was working for went out of business. I love working with animals and want to continue that. I do have a fenced in yard. I love taking my dog to the nearby park with a 50 foot leash to change up the scenery as well. I have plenty of space to have the dogs run around and it’s all puppy proofed! (My dog is a chewer)

Amy B.Star Sitter
“Amy B has experience with a variety of animals. She grew up on a farm and has worked with cattle, horses, dogs, cats, sheep, and chickens. Amy is a current dog owner and I have never doubted the safety or well-being of her dog. She has a fenced in yard with room for a dog to enjoy time in and outside. Growing up on a farm taught Amy the value of animal life and the responsibility of caring for animals. She is a dedicated wife and mother and values life. She is confident but not cocky. She is not afraid of hard work. I have witnessed Amy care for her pet by taking her to dog parks, on walks, playing with her, keeping her groomed, and making sure she is watched by a responsible person when she and her family are out of town. I have benefited from knowing Amy personally and would recommend her as a dog walker or sitter to anyone.”
