“Ami and her lovely family are the perfect place to leave your dog. Ami is so kind, flexible, and clear about what she needs to make your pooch’s time away from home perfect. I highly recommend!!”

“Julia was amazing. We had an out of town wedding and she took care of our Finn like her own. She has a little Yorkie named Archie and Finn and he had some much fun together. I was so relieved by Julia's updates and pictures that she sent. Finn loves to walk and she took him out for many walks in her very walkable neighborhood. I highly recommend Julia for your next getaway.”

“Meagen did a fantastic job sitting our puppy and was able to give me peace of mind that he was well watched. Overall experience was a 10/10 and would seriously consider hiring Meagen again”

“Our dogs Rocky & Bella had a wonderful stay with Lorraine. During our meet and greet we were able to meet another guest dog and I felt comfortable that our pups would be in good hands. I was impressed that even on pick up day when we were picking up at noon, the pups still got a nice long walk that morning. They came home tired and happy. We will definitely use Lorraine again.”
“My girl came home happy and she didn't want to leave her vacation! Erica was communicative and sent a picture or video almost every day which I told her gave huge comfort to my toddler. She delivered all of Coco Chanel's meds without incidence (and even gave her bi-weekly subcutaneous shot). Thank you Erica, we will book with you again!”

“Neetika is like the "dog whisperer"! She did a fantastic job with Gideon who can experience separation anxiety! She kept us updated on how he was doing and sent pictures of him!! She is amazing!!!”

“Avery is an amazing sitter. She is very responsive and gives great updates. She really meets all of my pets needs. I have used her multiple times because she’s someone we trust with Archer!”

“Barbara and her family provided me wonderful piece of mind while I was gone. I quickly knew that Tank, my 13-year-old Cavapoo, was in good and loving hands. Barbara kept me updated with texts and photos too. I am new to the area and didn't have a solid dog care support system, so I guess now I do. In fact. I booked Barbara already for an extended trip in May!”

“Very nice guy. We love our dog, he is like one of our children. We usually take him everywhere we go. John made us comfortable, and sent pictures for my daughter to reinsure her that he was all right.I will definitely use him again if available .”

“Matt was great with Dessie. We adopted her recently and she still has separation anxiety. He was very patient with her and she obviously loved being with him. He is a real dog person! He kept in touch with us and sent us pictures of her relaxing and clearly at ease in his home. We will be happy to use Matt again!”

“Megan & Vitality took wonderful care of our dog for 4 days. Savannah had friends to play with all the time, and was given the room she loves to have outdoors. Megan & Vitality agreed to the booking on short notice, and extended their usual boarding week a little for us. They sent pictures on a regular basis as well, so we knew Savannah was well cared for and having great fun.”

“Brian and his family took great care of my dog. She loved playing with his dogs in their big yard, and Brian sent photos and updates throughout. We’ll definitely book with him again!”

Avery went above and beyond with our dog Harley!! This was the first time going away without her and we were super nervous. Avery sent multiple daily reports and pictures. It was such a great feeling seeing how happy Harley was with her. Absolutely booking again with her. Thank you again Avery!

Melina took great care of my pup Riley! I needed someone very last minute for an entire week when my original pet care fell through. She responded quickly and I was able to get it figured out. She communicated great, sent updates every day, and I could tell Riley had a great time. Will be using her again in the future!

Kayla is the best!! We needed someone to watch our puppy, and she was so professional, warm, and friendly. As new puppy parents, leaving him with someone new was very frightening, but Kayla made us feel comfortable and safe, knowing our puppy was in great hands. He LOVES her and bonded with her immediately. It’s amazing to know he has another home with Kayla, and we will definitely book her again.

We were very happy with Beau’s 2-week “staycation” with Meghan. She understood what he needs in terms of affection, play time, and exercise and made sure all his needs were met. Beau has little interest in other dogs, in general, but he and her dog definitely bonded during his stay. We highly, highly recommend Meghan as a dog sitter.

Cyndi took great care of my son’s lab. She was VERY flexible. It was a last minute reservation and she graciously extended an extra day. Nellie had a great time playing with her dog and loved the back yard. Cyndi made our emergency situation not be as stressful. I highly recommend her and would definitely book with her again!

My dog Oliver loved staying with Meghan! From the very beginning, she was a fantastic communicator—quick to respond, clear, and thoughtful. She made sure my dog felt completely comfortable and at ease, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away! She sent updates with photos and notes. It was clear she enjoyed having Oliver there and treated him like her own. I’m so grateful to have found her and would definitely book again. Highly, highly recommend!

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
