About: Animals have always been at the center of my life, as a child my mom and I showed dogs almost every weekend. With that came the responsibility of feeding, socializing, grooming, and cleaning up after furry friends. In those years I met many different breeds and learned so much about the needs and habits of dogs. In my adult years, I never lost that love, always having pets of my own and finding such joy in caring for them I decided to start looking into making a career out of what I love the most. This led to a job with Petco where my knowledge of animal care was extended beyond just dogs and cemented that working with animals was something I couldn't live without. I still help out at my local store with stocking and am in school for veterinary technology. In the past I have worked at a veterinary hospital giving comfort to animals who come to visit, drawing blood, assisting in appointments, walking dogs, general cleaning duties, and providing company to animals staying for extended periods of time. I am able to administer medication to animals during sitting if necessary and am also a huge fan of fetch/ tug and all the other fun doggie activities for our more active friends. Although my love for dogs is beyond measure, kitties are my weakness, no furry friends are excluded. Please reach out for any of your pet sitting or dog walking needs! I currently work full time but do have flexible scheduling. I am available for morning walks or drop ins between 8:30-11 on most weekdays.
