About: Animal Shelter Enrichment Volunteer, Stephanie "Stevie" is experienced with managing the special needs of high-anxiety and/or reactive dogs. She has rescued and rehabilitated 3 dogs of her own, and 6 cats. She is an active volunteer at the local animal shelter, helping with adoption events and enrichment activities. Stevie has been a pet-sitter since she was 12 years old. She started with plants and birds, and now 20 years later, can work with any animal, including ones that require bottle feedings, complex medication schedules, or homestays up to 2 weeks. Farm animals too! Chickens, ducks, and goats! She was a camp counselor for 3 summers and also conducted a work exchange at a homestead farm for 1 summer. She successfully worked for Trusted Housesitters but has switched to Rover for more local opportunities. I work remotely part-time and have a flexible schedule that can meet all of your pet's individual needs. 24/7 care and attention for your animal! I understand your home is your sanctuary, and I aim to leave it as if I was never there. All poops are bagged up and properly disposed of immediately. All water drops or pee piddles are cleaned up with pet-safe sanitation spray. The door locks are always double checked upon departure. I send pictures of your pets happy and healthy during every visit.

About: I’ve helped take care of my dogs at home since I was 6, taken care of my neighbors animals since I was 12, and I volunteer at an animal shelter in my free time here at my university. I love taking care of animals and will play with them for as long as they want. I am currently home from college for summer break, so I’m available until the end of July. Until then, I will have all the time to take care of your animals. I can take your dog on walks or runs or stay in with them which ever is preferred. About: I am 25 years old and love animals and I am good taking care of dog and I will take good care of your dog . I have always enjoyed dogs ! My life is pretty simple! I don't drink ,smoke nor do drugs. I know my dog is my child so if you love your pet like I love mine then you know safety is number #1. About: I grew up with lots of pets, a golden retriever, labs, a vizsla, and siamese cats. I have worked with a non-profit rehabbing retired throroughbreads and retraining them for lives off the track, which has given me confidence, patience, and adaptability in handling spirited animals. I am currently working freelance and control my own schedule, so I can customize the level of care required to your needs. I'm happy to care for them at your home or take them on adventures to parks, hikes etc. Depending on your pet's needs, I am available for walks, feeding, playtime, training, boarding, and any other activities they enjoy. My demeanor is calm and patient, able to babysit a senior animal with special needs or entertain the most energetic of birddogs. I have experience in animal training for film and TV and am happy to offer those skills to teach new behaviors if requested.

She sent pictures all along. The dogs enjoy having Jenna as their caregiver! I recommend her as a pet sitter as well to do drop-ins. We have also asked her to check on the dogs, let them out and feed them when we have a function in the evening. She’s a lovely, caring person.”

About: I have done training with both of my dogs and have learned a lot about dog behavior and dog body language. Before getting into the pet industry, I was a paramedic for the last 15 years. I can handle stressful situations and I'm not afraid to get dirty. I'm the process of taking a class for pet first aid and CPR I would love during my down time to stay active by walking/ running with your dogs. I am also up for enrichment activities as well. My own dogs have been through dog training classes. I have learned a lot about dog behaviors and body language. I am truly one of those people who believe in boundaries even for pets. Not everyone wants to be touched, and others need to respect that. I always carry in my car or on my person, extra treats, extra leashes, and first aid kits not only for the animals but for people as well. I would rather come over prepared than nothing at all. If you need your dog taken somewhere I do have a safety crate secured in the back of my car. I won't travel with my dogs in the car without safety that includes your dogs as well.
