“She does an amazing job with my pup and is awesome at communicating with me when there are any changes in his behavior or activity level. I appreciate having someone who is thorough and pays attention and that my dog is excited to see when I’m not around!”

About: I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities for over 10 years. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets. I am patient, dependable, and make sure every pet feels loved and comfortable while their owner is away. I currently work full-time, but I am home by 4:00 pm during the week. I am available most weekends, so I can provide consistent drop-ins, walks, or playtime that fits your pet's routine. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience following detailed instructions and keeping pets on schedule with meals, walks, and medications if needed. In your home, I respect your space while making sure your pet feels secure and loved.
About: I have taken care of a variety of breeds of dogs over the years as well as various age groups and would love to be able to care for your pet. I am currently a stay at home mom and have full availability to care for your pets. I have a school aged child and childcare available for my non school aged child if need be. I have a partially fenced in back yard and have the open availability to take pets outside to walk and/or play as much as need be. I will make sure to follow any directions given to me or special accommodations given to me to make sure your pets have the best stay possible.
About: Hello! My name is Chelsea and I have lived a life with love for all animals in my heart very fruitfully. I personally have two large breed dogs of my own, and one hamster. I’m not shy when it comes to types, ages, or sizes of animals. I am the first person my family and friends leave their animals with because they know that they will find their dogs sleeping next to me on the couch, treated like royalty and family. I work with rescue agencies as well as fostering agencies to ensure stable homes, donated needs are being met, and daily play time is available. I own a large home with a fenced in backyard. I have experience with special needs animals as well. All drop off pets MUST be okay with other dogs. No exceptions!! If you need last minute overnight care you MUST provide the crate, food, and other necessary items. I cannot host puppies without their crates in my home. Please make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccines as well as their preventative medicines! Prices have been adjusted due to rising gas prices. I’m sorry for this inconvenience and when they go back down so will my prices! 💕 I have open availability working around my sons school schedule. I’m a SAHM and work PRN as a nurse & clean Air BNB’s between pet clients. I am always able to work with your schedule! I have a massive fenced in yard with security cameras. All animals have free access to water in two places and feedings are timed scheduled (unless client otherwise states). My home is two stories and I am able to separate animals if need be.
About: Hi, I’m Tate a lifelong animal lover with experience as unique as the pets I care for! I grew up surrounded by animals—horses, dogs, geese, and barn cats—and I’ve been a trusted sitter for everything from puppies to parrots, bottle babies to bearded dragons. I have a special heart for pets with extra needs, including those with anxiety, reactivity, or medical concerns. I’m experienced with insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and special meal prep—your pet’s routine is safe with me. While my husband was serving in the Air Force, I spent four years caring for military families’ pets near Dyess AFB while completing my college degree. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, chickens, exotics—you name it, I’ve probably cuddled it! I genuinely feel like I speak their language. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or needs a little extra TLC, I’ll meet them where they’re at—with love, patience, and lots of care. Pet care isn’t just something I fit into my routine—it’s something my routine feels incomplete without. After earning my degree in graphic design and moving across the country, I had to say goodbye to the fur family I sat for in Texas. That shift made me realize just how much joy and purpose pet sitting brought to my everyday life. These days, I work from home on flexible, self-paced art and design projects, which means I have the freedom to take breaks, make visits, and give pets the attention they deserve—whether it’s a midday walk, medication, or just some much-needed love. Caring for animals brings balance and warmth to my day, and I genuinely look forward to every tail wag, meow, chirp, or cuddle. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, my top priority is maintaining their usual routine and environment to minimize stress and keep them feeling safe and secure. I take time to understand each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s playtime outside, quiet companionship, or extra TLC for pets who are shy or reactive. My approach is experience-focused—I’m not just there to check a box, but to make sure your pets are truly cared for and comforted while you’re away. I also believe in leaving your home as tidy (or better!) than you left it. I often vacuum or sweep, take out the trash, bring in mail, and keep up with litter boxes, enclosures, and yard clean-up. My goal is to provide total peace of mind—both for your pets and for you.
About: I have cared for pets most of my life. After high school, I would pet sit for teachers who went on vacation—and through word of mouth, became a regular on call sitter for 3 different homes with multiple pets. I have cared for, mostly, senior dogs but am so happy to give puppies the attention and energy they need. I especially love going on long walks. I am currently in nursing school and, because it’s an online hybrid program, I have lots of free time during the day and evenings. I have clinicals during the weekend but will be sure to block those days off when I get my schedule. I do not offer boarding for pets in my own home, since I live in an apartment, but am happy to do whatever you need to care for your little (or big) family members! All I need is instruction and I’ll take care of it.
About: I treat every animal as if it were my own pet- with lots of love, care, and compassion. I’ve watched many many animals over the past couple years and have loved every second of it. I know how to give many types of medication to different animals as well. I am able to help out with any animal needs outside of my normal job. I always make sure they have what they need, get love, and get some energy out! I treat every animal as if it were my own. Lots of love and care go into every animal I watch/take care of. I try to make it so the animals aren’t focused on missing the owner as much. For house sitting, if possible, I always ask if my fiancé can come stay as well as I have trouble at new houses alone. I always will try to make it work if not though! He will also come with me to meet you and your fur babies for a more peace of mind if needed!
“Brandy clearly loves dogs and mine took to her right away. I love getting the updates and photos from their walks. You do want a reliable and flexible person taking care of your dog and she is that. Highly recommend Brandy!”

About: I am the designated pet watcher for all of my friends and family. I am experienced in basic training for dogs and also do service dog work with my own Labradoodle, Willow. I am able to assist you with whatever pet needs you may have! I currently am devoting my time to dog sitting and being a dance teacher, so my schedule is very flexible! All I ask is for a 2 week notice to get things scheduled and make sure I am the right fit for you! I currently have 2 dogs, Willow and Peaches. They are our world! We go for daily walks and play time in our backyard when it’s nice. I love to offer indoor enrichment on those not so nice days!
About: I have had animals my whole life and I have love for all kinds of fur babies. I can’t wait to meet yours and shower them with love and attention! I just graduated college and am applying for corporate jobs at the moment, but so far am primarily pet sitting so my schedule is very open. I do not care for pets in my home as it is a shared space with roommates and pets. Thank you for your time and understanding.
“Maya has taken my dog on two walks now and I'm very satisfied with the results. My dog, "Sissy" gets bored easily and starts to find her own "entertainment". After Maya spent time with Sissy, Sissy was content with lounging around the house until I got home from work. Maya sent pictures and quick updates of the visit assuring me that Sissy was getting great care.”

“Stephanie is great!! She sends me photos of Zanya on their walks along with a step counter and I love that. She's very responsive and always updates on how their walks went. Bonus because I have a lot of exotic pets as well and she doesn't discriminate 🥰 Great dog Walker and pet sitter!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life. I care for them, sometimes more than humans. Unconditional love on both ends. Now and forever I currently am not working. I have free time any time or day of the week. Other than taking care of my fur baby, Maggie I prefer taking care of your pets in clients home. Our Maggie is older and has arthritis. I love taking them out for walks, playtime

About: I don’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t taking care of animals! Whether it be while growing up or starting to dogsit/walk in high school, there was never a time a fur baby wasn’t relying on me. And I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have a flexible schedule which allows me to help out with my friends and families animals, as well as volunteer for local animal shelters. I have experience with dogs of all ages and levels of care. I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with your pet (I have used Rover myself when I go out of town) so I assure you I will provide the kind of care and attention to your pet that I would want given to my own! :) I’m currently working part time. My job offers flexible hours, so I have the opportunity to accommodate whatever schedule you and your pet require. :) I will happily go over what your pets routine is and abide by whatever you’re most comfortable with! If your dog is used to being walked at certain times, crated, etc. The well being and safety of your animal is my upmost concern so whatever you need me to do to guarantee that, is what I’ll do!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
