I have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to explore and play, and I can also provide up to two walks a day depending on your dogs normal routine and needs. About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. My dog and cat are loved as if they were my children and your dog will be treated this way as well. We enjoy taking walks and car rides to the dog park in nice days. I never allow my dog outside without me. I am semi-retired and I work from home painting and repairing furniture and working on various crafts. Therefore I am very flexible with my time. I live in a decent sized 2 story home with a large back yard. It is not fenced all the way so my dog is always on a cable or leash. We live to go for walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. My dog is a husky mix and is almost 4 years old. She loves dogs of all sizes.

We are happy to share our dogs food but would prefer food is delivered with the dog for stays. About: I have cared for pets most of my life. After high school, I would pet sit for teachers who went on vacation—and through word of mouth, became a regular on call sitter for 3 different homes with multiple pets. I have cared for, mostly, senior dogs but am so happy to give puppies the attention and energy they need. I especially love going on long walks. I am currently in nursing school and, because it’s an online hybrid program, I have lots of free time during the day and evenings. I have clinicals during the weekend but will be sure to block those days off when I get my schedule. I do not offer boarding for pets in my own home, since I live in an apartment, but am happy to do whatever you need to care for your little (or big) family members! All I need is instruction and I’ll take care of it.
