About: As a former mail carrier and current professional dog walker and sitter for 4 years, I am very used to walking in all kinds of weather. I have an eighty pound golden retriever lab mix at home who I love taking for walks. My first job as a kid was walking dogs in my neighborhood, and now I am living my dream of doing this as an adult. I also have previous experience watching my friend's dogs, one of whom was elderly and no longer had the use of her hind legs. Over the past few years, I have gained experience with reactive dogs; because I only walk one dog at a time, I can give each dog all the attention they need to be safe and happy. I am a very conscientious person and your dog's health and safety are my main focus. If you hire me, I promise I will do everything I need to do to make sure your pup is comfortable, safe, and happy. I am looking to service Peabody and its surrounding areas. Currently, dog walking and sitting is my main job. I am still in school part time, but not during the summer time, so my availability is a little bit more flexible. The sitting jobs that I have had so far are going back and forth to the client's house three times a day to feed and walk the dogs, and give them some love. Depending on individual circumstances, I will stay overnight if both myself and the client are comfortable with that arrangement.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I recently lost my 2 year old rescue Luna to cancer and miss the companionship of animals. I love taking long walks and bringing dogs on adventures where they can sniff to their hearts content. In my home, your dog will treated like family. Snuggles on the couch, tug of war, belly rubs and endless ear scratches are part of the package. I am patient and loving to all the animals I care for. If your pet has a special diet or needs, I'm more than happy to accommodate them. I am comfortable with large dog breeds - drool is no problem! Senior dogs are welcome to lounge in the sun on the floor or couch of my living room or go for car rides if that is what they love. I truly hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and your pet. I am a Special Education teacher currently. I'm available for afternoon or weekend walks, overnight care and vacation sitting - whatever your needs. During school vacations I am available to either board your pet with me or stay in your home if you decide to travel. I'm also available for walks or pee breaks anytime during school vacations. In my home dogs are welcome anywhere in my home. My living room is a wall of windows overlooking the woods. It is a one story house with a finished basement that I block off at the top of the stairs. You dog is welcome to lounge on a bed and check for squirrels out the window or curl up on the couch with me. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I have space for a crate as well. I have a large yard with a fenced in garden for potty breaks or to sniff around. I also have a dog run if that fits your needs. While on the run, I'll keep an eye on your pet at all times (my living room is all windows).

About: Every animal is unique, and I pride myself on understanding your pet's particular set of wants and needs and meeting them where they're at. If your pup is the type that jumps up off the couch to greet every person who walks in the door, I'll return that energy. If, like the Jack Russell I grew up with, they mostly want someone to feed them, walk them, and give them the occasional pet, I'll tend to their needs while giving them the space they want. And if, like my sister's dog, they're anxious about every new face they see, I'll approach them with the tact and patience they need to be comfortable. I've grown up with and cared for dogs for the past twenty years, and I've loved each and every one of them. I have experience caring for both puppies and seniors, walking large and reactive dogs, and administering meds. I am a full time student with the summer off, so I have a very flexible schedule and am able to attend to a wide variety of needs. Your pet's safety is always my number one priority. I like to have a full written list of their needs so that there is no room for confusion and to ensure I know about any quirks of theirs and/or worries of yours. I tend to send updates on a daily basis, but that can always be adjusted to a schedule that works better for you.

About: I have 3 years of experience walking and pet sitting dogs with company’s and on my own! I work at a doggy daycare in the area and would love to start expanding my experience on my own while i start school. I’ve had amazing experiences and built trust and relationships with lots of people and their pets! My days aren’t regular within the week, depending on what days i’m not at my other job. If i am not I am available after 12. But are also available Saturdays! I would come to your home and meet your dog and go for a short walk! i can bring treats depending on if they have allergies and bags! I always make sure they are comfortable with me and trust me before leaving your home. I usually only walk in the neighborhood but if trusted or dog needs to be relocated for the walk I can bring them in my car to go somewhere fun! I also always make sure to refill the water bowl, or feed breakfast/dinner when done with walk if you are not home, and crate them if needed.

About: Growing up, we always had dogs and cats, gerbils and fish. I learned the responsibility of having a pet at a very young age. I, also, realize that our pets are sometimes closer to us than our own family. Pets are sources of unconditional love and stress relief. I love being outside in nature, so long walks and hiking trails are always on the agenda, if it fits in with your pet needs.

As a grad student, I’m looking for a part-time gig that lets me do what I love. About: I grew up with golden retrievers and have raise my own dog since she was a rambunctious puppy. I have experience training puppies, high energy dogs, dog and cats needing medication. My work schedule is variable but provides me with at least 4 days a week to walk or pet sit! Please reach out and maybe we can make something work! About: I have experience dealing with rescue dogs (like my own) who sometimes need a little extra love. I am good at interpreting animal body language, so I can assure you that your pet’s needs will not be ignored. Right now I’m still in school, so I can only provide services on the weekend. I will have more availability and flexibility in the summer. If your pet is super active, we can go for plenty of adventures and I can play all day. If you have a couch potato or a senior, I am just as fine with chilling out for hours. I have supplies I can bring (toys/treats), but I’ll also use what you have in your home to keep your pet entertained.
