“We boarded Arnie with Donald for 2 days and had a great experience. He responds immediately to requests and any questions and sent a lot of pictures to us of Arnie playing in his back yard. When we went to drop Arnie off the next day he was so excited to stay with Donald. Will be booking again!”

About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, helping at church, and making greeting cards. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.
“We were so excited to find Colby & his family! Normally we would leave our boys in the camper while we do our adventures, but it was so hot. I contacted Colby late the night before and he took our boys in while we rafted in Columbus. They were loved & cared for while we were on our adventure and we’re so worn out that they were happy to sleep through the rainy night.”

“Jennifer is a wonderful sitter! She sends pictures through-out the day, and her place is beautiful. Our dog loves her and her son and was very happy during her visit. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I have been caring for pets my whole life. I've cared for all pets from dogs to reptiles. I have had many puppies and a few senior dogs as well. I am very knowledgeable about dog care. I have been a dog sitter several times for friends and family. My family consists of a dog, a cat, a leopard gecko, and two sweet guinea pigs! I have experience with all kinds of animals, including small animals and reptiles! I am a volunteer with Auburn University's Natural History Museum and handle and care for multiple different species of animals. I am a full-time college student studying wildlife ecology. Most of my classes are online, so my schedule is open most of the time! In my own home, I treat all my animals like they are my biological children (which they are). They are extremely spoiled, and I love them dearly. I would definitely extend this love towards a client's pet because I love animals, no matter the size or species!
“Lexie is awesome! I felt totally comfortable coming in from out of town and being able to drop my dog at her home during my stay in Columbus. She has two very sweet dogs that were kind to Droopy and a fenced in back yard. I highly recommend.”

“We had an amazing experience with this dog sitter! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the property offers plenty of land for dogs to roam, explore, and really stretch their legs. Their sweet children were so gentle and playful with our pup, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we give our experience a 10 out of 10!”

About: My name is Grace and I am a 19 year old pre med student. I am hoping to earn a little extra to help pay for classes! I have grown up with pets my whole life and have always loved having them around. However after my past dog Beau past away I felt no desire to have another but missed the affection so I would love to provide temporary care and love for your fur babies! I am currently a part time student and worker so I have plenty of time to care for your babies! I am available anytime, any day for some extra care! I have a fenced in yard with a ton of room for running and playing. Along with a home they can roam about as they please! I can crate your babies if need be but it is absolutely your choice!
About: I’ve had a dog my whole life, to me a home isn’t a home without one! As of right now I have three dogs, one that lives with me full time. I rescued him from a shelter and I love training him and watching him grow up. I would be a great help with training or just simply giving love and attention to your sweet pup ! I work part time at an Auburn country club with the flexibility of being able to leave in the middle of the day when needed. I am near tons of dog parks, I take my dog, Bear, everyday that it’s not raining, and he gets along great with every pet including cats. I also love to run and go on walks and wouldn’t mind having a furry companion.
“Heather was great! She sent us lots of pictures and videos of Frank having a great time with the other dogs on their walks and intermittent nap time during their day full of playing. Frank came home happy and tired... which is all a high energy pup parent can ask for! She even brought Frank home for us using our lockbox because neither of our work schedules worked out timing wise and left him with fresh water and in the comfort of his home waiting for us to get home. We will definitely use Heather to care for our pup again!!”
About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I have several years of professional experience working with dogs in boarding and daycare environments, with a strong focus on behavior, safety, and low-stress handling. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications, following special routines, and working with dogs that benefit from a calmer environment. My background has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs and adjusting care accordingly. I also carry pet care insurance in addition to Rover’s protections and believe in clear, honest communication so owners can feel confident while they’re away. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to spend the majority of my day with the dogs in my care rather than being away at a traditional 9-to-5 job. My schedule is built around feeding routines, walks, enrichment, potty breaks, cleaning, and individual attention. While I occasionally leave for errands or appointments, dogs are not routinely left alone for a full workday. I provide care in a calm, structured home environment designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable while away from home. Dogs are supervised, managed thoughtfully, and given appropriate opportunities for activity and rest throughout the day. I prioritize low-stress handling, safe management practices, and predictable routines that help dogs settle in successfully. Each dog’s care is adjusted based on their age, temperament, energy level, and individual needs.
About: I’ve spent over 15 years caring for a wide variety of animals. What sets me apart is my experience with sick, senior, and disabled pets. Some of my own animals have special needs, so I understand how important it is to provide gentle, attentive care. I’m calm, patient, and confident with everything from giving meds to handling nervous or medically fragile pets. Whether your pet is young, old, or needs extra TLC, I’ve got it covered. Animals are a part of my everyday life—I care for my own pets daily. Feeding, cleaning, medication, and quality time are all part of my routine. I naturally plan my days around animal care, so adding your pet to my schedule is easy and something I truly enjoy. Caring for animals isn’t a chore for me—it’s just part of who I am. Whether in my home or yours, I create a safe, loving, and relaxed environment. At my home, I have a fully privacy-fenced yard for safe outdoor time and my own friendly dogs who love to play and keep new friends company. I stick to your pet’s routine—feeding, meds, potty breaks, and play—while giving them the same care and attention I give my own animals. I’m experienced with pets of all kinds and always make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved.
About: I have over 15 years of experience with all types of animals. I have a deep affection for animals and understand the importance of their well-being. Whether it’s a playful dog or a curious cat, I always take the time to understand their unique behaviors and needs. I am attentive and patient, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and secure. For pet owners, knowing that I can offer reliable care provides peace of mind—whether it’s a quick check-in, a thoughtful response to any concerns, or simply understanding how to make their pets feel at ease. My love for animals is grounded in the belief that pets deserve kindness, respect, and consistent care. I focus on building a trusting bond with each pet so they feel comfortable and safe in my presence. For pet owners, this trust is invaluable—it means you can leave home knowing that your furry friend is not just in good hands, but in the hands of someone who genuinely loves and cares for them as if they were my own. I will be taking this position fulltime ensuring exercise and playtime, feeding and medication routine, rest and comfort. Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine ensures your pet receives consistent attention, love, and the appropriate level of care to keep them healthy, happy, and safe. Your pet’s well-being is always a priority, and my routine revolves around meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs. My home is pet-proofed to ensure there are no hazards, such as toxic plants, sharp objects, or unsafe areas that your pet could access. All windows and doors are securely closed or locked to prevent any escapes, and I always monitor pets closely when they’re outside to ensure they’re safely contained. Your pet will have a designated, cozy sleeping area that is safe and comfortable, whether it’s their bed, crate, or a spot they’re familiar with. I will ensure that this area is free from distractions and potential dangers, allowing them to rest peacefully and securely. I’ll keep your pet’s daily routine consistent, including feeding times, exercise, and rest. If they’re on medication or need specific care, I will ensure they receive the correct dosage at the right times. Sticking to their usual routine helps minimize stress and makes them feel more at home in my care.
