“Diana took great care of our dog Sadie. She walked her to the park and sent us pics through out the day. There were other dogs to play with, which Sadie loved. I'll use Diana again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Becca! She was super communicative and sent us update photos, making us comfortable being away from our pup. Would highly recommend and would book with Becca again!”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Alyssa! I give her 11/10 stars. She was so absolutely wonderful with my pup, kind and responsive and caring. This is the best Rover experience I've had thus far by miles. I will definitely be rebooking in the future 💜🐶”

“Hanlan was great in her care of our cat. She forwarded pics and videos daily showing our cat playing and being comfortable with her care. We hope to have her care in the future and Highly recommend her to all.”

“This was my first time using rover and I was a bit nervous leaving my dogs with someone that I didn’t know but Bobby and Linda made me feel very confident in their ability’s to take care of our dogs. They gave great updates with pictures and notes on what they did that day. I will recommend them to others and use them again in the future.”

“Nadine took SUCH good care of my pups! They loved their time with her. The backyard is amazing… so much room to roam. And her pets got along so well with mine. Lots of communication and photos. It was so nice to know my babies were being loved on so much while I was away. I’d definitely recommend Nadine!!!!”

“Very kind and accommodating. They took very good care of our sweet, yet anxious husky. Prompt with replies and responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend Cassandra and Trevor!”

“This was our second time booking with Lisa, once again she provided outstanding care for my dog Zuko. This stay eas especially important because he was recovering from his neuter surgery. She followed all of his post-op care instructions, kept me updated with pictures and messages, and made sure he was comfortable. It's such a relief to have someone I can trust with Zuko, especially during a time when he needed extra care. We will definitely be seeing Lisa again in the future!”

“My girl was so well cared for during my time away. It's the first time I've left her with anyone other than family, and for so long. Kayla kept me informed of daily happenings and shared photos with me. That put my mind at ease while being so far away. I will definitely look to Kayla for future needs and I highly recommend her care.”

“Julie and Barry have been watching our little Cadi for a few years now. They give her all the love and care she needs. She's fussy about her food and loves lots of attention. She can be quite needy. They are so patient and loving with her. Cadi loves staying with them. They are the best!”

“Anastasia is the best dog sitter on Rover and I will definitely be booking again! She has excellent pre-booking communication/flexibility. While watching your pet, she keeps you updated daily with pics and videos & great care! When you send your pets to stay with her, they will be staying at a 5 star resort and will make a lot of friends!”

“Sarah took absolute excellent care of my 🐕 Arya. She sent pictures and updates daily, adjusted times since things didnt aline perfectly with no extra cost, and sent us home with a goodie bag for us. I will absolutely be using her again in future! THANKS!!!!”

“Becky is absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond by not only watching my two dogs (a Swiss Mountain Dog and a Labrador Retriever) but also picking them up for me. They came back home super tired and very happy — which says it all! It’s such a relief knowing they were so well cared for. I would highly recommend Becky to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful, and loving dog watcher.”

“Yuting was great. She communicated daily and sent video and pics throughout our time away. Dave was exercised daily and had plenty of play time with her pups as well! Thanks, Yuting!”

About: Pet sitting has fallen into my lap and become a regular part of my life for the last 7 years. I love being able to spend time with so many different animals. I have had the pleasure of spending time one on one with Dogs or Cats to sitting a Great Dane, a kitty and four goats all at once. After moving back to Mt Hood, Oregon recently from Whitefish Montana I have taken a part time job working Monday - Wednesday 2:30pm - 10:30pm. I want to focus on Pet Care and am available to do so: Thursday - Sunday. I live in an apartment with a balcony. The ideal pet to stay in my home would be smaller or older and needed less space to run. I live next to a ton of quieter walking trails and can take pets out for walks as much as they need.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
