Our 5 month old puppy Sophie had an absolute blast staying with Jennifer, her family, and her dogs. Jennifer even sent me a few videos of Sophie running and playing with their puppy and older dog. My worries were put to ease when we arrived for drop off and there was a decorated chalk board outside saying “Welcome Sophie”. That little personalized thoughtful touch nearly made me tear up. “Liz is wonderful!!!! Liz made every effort to make sure Iris felt at home during her stay while we were on an 11 day trip. She actually did so well that I think Iris felt it was her new home! There was an Iris instigated incident that Liz handled with grace and professionalism and she made sure all were safe and ok, which they were. Apparently, Iris can sometimes be a bit of a spoiled only-child diva! Dogs will be dogs, and Liz understood and made sure all involved were aware and made an action plan for the future. Throughout the stay, Liz sent daily updates and photos which showed Iris comfortable and happy! I hope Iris gets to visit again soon!”

About: I have two dogs ages 5 & 6, I trained both of them when they were puppies. Brewer and goose love other dogs but can also be kept separate if needed. I’ve taken care of family pets since I was young and enjoy playing with animals. I currently home full time with my two children. We pop out for go to classes in the evening but are usually home Monday -Friday. We live in 6 acres of partial fenced yard. Lots of room to play and throw ball. We do have an older cat that keeps to herself. Would prefer a dog that doesn’t want to chase cats.
“Emma and Kenzie were the best sitters I’ve had by far! Crouton normally has bad separation anxiety but she immediately felt comfortable in their home. Crouton became besties with their pup, Oswald. There were other dogs that they were taking care of and they did an amazing job at getting everyone along. Emma sent me ample updates and photos. I can tell Crouton had a blast with them :) I can’t wait to bring them back at Emma and Kenzie’s!”

These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Aims home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Aims.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Aims sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian.
