About: I grew up training hunting dogs with my dad on the property. As I got older I was in charge of training any new family dogs we got. I am 100% guilty of stopping a conversation in its tracks because I see a dog in public and I have to go say hi to it. I have a 1 year old English cream named Cavill who is amazing with other dogs and is the most well behaved dog I have ever owned. Friday to Monday works best for boarding times but I can easily do drop ins and walks mid day because of my job. Most weekends I am at the house all day working on fixing things up or planning my wedding for 2026. I have a fenced in 1/4 acre back yard that Cavill loves to run around and play fetch in. I also have a doggy splash pool and wash area on the back deck for when things get muddy. No pets on furniture but there are multiple areas for dog beds and very comfy carpet upstairs.

About: Hi! I'm Nicole and I was born and raised in the Charlotte area and went to Weddington for middle and high school. I left for school at NC State and NC Central to study nutrition and dietetics, and then moved to Nashville before returning to Charlotte (my favorite place to live actually!). I have been caring for pets of all sizes for years -- my parents have a 10 pounds Boston Terrier, and my husband and I have a 100lb yellow lab and a 60 pound Aussie/Pomeranian. I work remotely, so I am the main caretaker of all pets and I love it :) I work remotely according to my own schedule, which I get to create myself. I do love a good routine, but I am easily able to adjust as we go with the flow because of my job. Consistent schedules are fun and easy for me to fit into my weekly work routine, but since I work on the go, I'm able to adjust as you need! I am able to travel as needed to assist you with your pet needs. I work with high security information, so I am very aware of security measures and safety within the home. Let me know how I can assist you to ensure your comfortability, cleanliness, and consistency in pet care :)

“Jakob took great care of our quirky dog, as usual! He is always timely and communicative, and consistently goes above and beyond. We’ll continue to use Jakob for our future dog sitting needs for sure!”

“Brandy has been amazing and kept excellent regular contact while we were out of town. She's very trustworthy and dedicated to our little fur baby. We feel lucky to have crossed paths with her.”

“Cristal took great care of our two cats while we were away. She’s consistent and compassionate, and we particularly liked the level of detail she included in the check-in cards. She clearly has a lot of experience with and love for animals!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. From a young age I helped to take care of my family’s dogs and even worked for a dog groomer in high school! My wife and I currently own a very sweet dog named Samwise. I was previously working as an engineer but I am now starting my own business! As a result, my schedule is flexible. I am available any day of the week with occasional exceptions. I love animals and care for them with patience and kindness. I will treat your home and your pets with respect as if they were my own.

About: Hello! My name is Katrina, I am an elementary school counselor currently saving up to buy a home! I have my own dog, Milo, a 4-year old lab mix but I have always loved dogs and have experience volunteering at service dog training facilities, shelters, and I have fostered dogs, as well! I have done dog walking and petsitting for multiple years now and have experience working with all types of dogs, small or large, reactive or non-reactive, all energy levels, and I love them all :) I will update you as much as you want on your pet when I am with him or her, I know it can be stressful to be away from them but I promise they are in good hands if they are with me! I currently work full-time so I am available after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am more than happy to work with your schedule. I have a large, fenced-in backyard and my own dog that loves to spend time outside. Please let me know whether your dog is more of an indoor/outdoor dog and how I can adjust the environment to fit his/her needs.

“Nicolle is amazing and so sweet! She took care of my sweet little Corgi Tinkles while I went out of town for the weekend. She checked in with me everyday and sent pictures! I would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a sitter for their furry pet. I will be booking her again in the future!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine lifelong passion I have for caring for animals. I actually started taking care of both cats and dogs when I was in 3rd grade, which gave me an early sense of responsibility and a deep understanding of how to connect with pets. Since then, I've continued to build on that experience, always treating each pet like they're my own. I go out of my way to make sure they're not just safe and healthy, but truly happy—whether that means extra playtime, a comfy spot to nap, or simply giving them lots of love and attention. Their joy and comfort are always my top priorities. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. Each morning, I start by feeding my pet and making sure they have fresh water. I also take time for a short walk or play session to get them moving. In the afternoon/evening, usually dedicate time for a longer walk and some quality bonding time. I clean their bedding, wash food and water bowls thoroughly, and check that they’re up to date on medications or preventive care. It’s a consistent commitment, but it’s also rewarding and helps me stay organized and active. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and comfort. I follow specific feeding schedules, ensure fresh water is always available, and provide regular exercise suited to the pet’s breed and energy level. I also pay close attention to any health or behavioral changes and keep the environment clean and secure. In a client's home, I respect their routines and instructions closely, maintain open communication, and provide updates as needed. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their space by giving them positive attention, maintaining their usual routines, and minimizing stress when they're away from their owners.

“Dependable and friendly, my pup loves Claire!”

Joy G.
“Joy is a dog lover! I've known Joy for over 5 years when she adopted one of my golden retriever fosters. (Her application to adopt a golden was accepted by As Good as Gold the golden retriever rescue group in IL. Before an application is accepted, a home visit is done. I knew when Joy came to my house to meet Ben, she was totally cleared by AGaG.) Since then she has become my dog sitter and a doggy confidant. She is as much of a crazy dog person as I am. Only a dog lover can understand this. I can give you many examples as to how dog savvy she is, however, because of limited space I'll give you a recent example. She was doggy sitting a friend's dog a few weeks ago. Looking out her kitchen window, Joy noticed that the dog was having difficulty urinating. She called me for my opinion. We agreed that she needed to get this dog to the vet, which she did. It ended up that the dog had bladder stones. Happy ending...the dog had surgery and has made a full recovery. I completely recommend joy for a dog sitter and dog walker.”
Weddington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Regina is wonderful. She took amazing care of our Golden for a full week. She was always on-time, very courteous, performed every dog care duty we asked, and very loving to our doggie.

Lily was awesome. You can tell she is a true animal lover She followed my instructions, and my dog seemed very happy with her Definitely recommend her

Katherine was so wonderful with our pups (3 all under 6 months)!!! Her time with the pups was more than asked for - she provided awesome pics & video which helped make me feel like all the pups were in great hands!

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet nanny to care for our elderly dog. From the very beginning, she showed such genuine compassion and attentiveness—it was clear our dog was in the best hands. She was incredibly accommodating to her special needs and routines, always going the extra mile to ensure she was comfortable, calm, and well-loved in our absence. Her warmth and gentle approach gave us such peace of mind, and we’re beyond grateful for the care she provided. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly caring and trustworthy pet caregiver!

Kennedy was wonderful! She was kind, responsive, and timely. We received a note and picture after every visit and she reached out if she had any questions while we were away for a week, which let us know she wanted to make sure she was doing the best for our pup. We felt that our dog was so well taken care of while we were away and would definitely book Kennedy again!

This was our first time using Rover and Jeff made it such a great experience. He was knowledgeable and professional and prompt with all of his visits. We valued his daily feedback and pictures of our pup while we were away. We will definitely be using Rover again and I would recommend Jeff specifically so anyone considering giving it a try.

Jessica is a wonderful with our senior frenchie. We now are able to leave and feel very comfortable that he is in great hands.

Grace did a wonderful job! Will definitely use again in future. She was on time and had excellent communication about her visits, and sent pics of our happy pups.
