About: I have had pets in my life since I was a baby. We have enjoyed a lab, standard poodle and currently a mini cocker spaniel poodle mix. I love getting outside and being active with pets. About: As a child, I was the neighborhood pet sitter. As an adult, I have vast experience caring for animals. For 25 years, I did pet sitting and house sitting in the Boston area before moving to Puerto Rico 13 years ago. The first month I lived there, I found a box of kittens in the road. I have been a rescuer since, being one of few who take on the most challenging cases. I have saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats over the years and I have seen it all. Nothing intimidates me or grosses me out. I will give baths, dispense medications, clean up accidents, whatever is needed. I am 58 years old and am very reliable and trustworthy. I am 58 years old and do not work anymore so my availability is wide open. I do sometimes go to Puerto Rico where I am in the process of selling my home but the dates for those trips are flexible. I generally find that caring for pets in their own home is ideal as they really do appreciate routine, stability, and a familiar environment. However, I am certainly willing to care for them in my home as well and offer a fully fenced in back yard for dogs. There is an 11 lb dog at my house but he is used to cats and dogs coming and going so he should not pose a problem (or I can separate them, if preferred). In terms of routine, I am willing to adapt to whatever you have established and have no problem with giving medications, baths, or any other special care needed. With 13 years of rescuing in Puerto Rico and 25 years of pet care before that, I have seen it all (and nothing grosses me out!). If you like frequent updates and photos, no problem. If you like to relax and not think about home when you are away, no problem. Your beloved pets are in safe, loving hands.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a teenager, 10 plus years and have been around animals since the day I was born. I take pride in the care of other animals and treat them like my own. I have loved and cared for cats and dogs of all sizes. I work 8:30 am-5:00 pm so am available if needed early mornings before work or after work. 1 week a month I work 10:30am-7:00 pm so would be available that week before 10:30 am. I have a fenced in front yard for dogs to play and stay safe in, my dog is currently crate trained so if your dog needs to be crated I am able to do that as well. I make sure all things dogs/cats shouldn’t have are out of site in my home. My dog is great with dogs and cats.
