“Armani is such a blessing! She loved on our little baby while we were on a family vacation after our sitter canceled last minute. She cleaned him and care for him like he was her own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARMANI AND I PERSONALLY WILL HIRE HER AGAIN!!!!”

“Lisa was absolutely amazing! She was always on time and kept great communication with us throughout her visits, which gave us so much peace of mind. From what we could tell, our dogs really enjoyed her time with them and were well cared for. It’s not always easy leaving your pets with someone new, but we felt completely comfortable trusting Lisa. We would definitely recommend her—overall a five-star experience! 🐾”

“Meagan was fabulous. She even took the time to find my kitty that likes to hide. I came home to happy kitties and she sent great pictures. She was great with communication. Will definitely book again”

“Alexia went above and beyond to not just make sure my two kitties were taken care of, but also managed to keep them comfortable and happy while we were out of town for a week! She cleaned the litter box out and even tidied up and vacuumed when needed. The cats love her and we will definitely have her back”

“Patrice went above and beyond for us! Our poor baby ended up getting sick in his crate twice while we were away and she cleaned up and made sure he was okay. We will definitely be hoping she is available for other bookings!”

About: I’ve always been an active dog lover since I was a little girl. I’ve always helped my neighbors by walking and watching their dogs while gone. I have 3 dogs of my own and have personally trained all of them since they were puppies. I was even able to train my blind and deaf dog which was pretty difficult but I was able to house train him and even taught him a couple tricks! I make sure to care for every dog I watch with so much love and act like they were one of my own. I’m working a part time job which allows me to spend a lot of time with my doggies and hopefully your dog! I don’t work tuesdays either so if needed I can spend as much time as you want with them during those days. I have a fenced yard that provides a lot of space for your dog and mine to play in! If needed to, I can provide a private room for your dog if you’re wanting your dog to be put in a crate. If you’re wanting me to just check in on your doggie at your house I certainly can! I have stayed over at my clients house as well as visit daily between 2-3 times a day.
About: I’m a lifelong pet lover who treats every animal like family. With 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, I’m well-versed in animal care and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. While your pet stays with us, they’ll enjoy plenty of love, snuggles, and playtime. My family adores dogs, and our younger pup is always excited to make new friends and play as much as your pet wants! I understand the stress of leaving your furry family member behind, and I’m here to ease that worry by giving them a safe, happy, and loving home-away-from-home. I am a teacher and my husband runs a business. He is able to come home during the day and let the pups outside to potty and check on them. I am home by 4:30 everyday. I also have all school breaks off- more time for me to spend with your pups. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room for them to run and stretch their legs. We love to take nightly walks through the neighborhood. I play with the dogs as much as they want to play and snuggle them when they want to relax.
“Amanda was so kind and loving! Obi enjoyed her company. She did an amazing job taking care if him. This was his first time alone for a few days, so I really appreciate her spending extra time with him and playing fetch.”

“Kamryn took care of our two cats for a week and was great about getting over there to see them. This was her first experience with cat sitting, which has some different requirements than dog sitting, obviously. She always sent pictures of our fuzzballs after she was done, which was great to see they were in good hands. Thank you so much!”

About: Ive had experience owning and caring for mainly dogs since early childhood. I was also the "neighborhood dog walker" for years as a teen. Ive always been relied on as the "pet person" in my family in regards to care, feeding and grooming. I have some experience working at a kennel, as well as 2 pet stores. Ive owned dogs for as long as I can remember, Ive also had my fair share of cats. Multiple animals Ive owned have had disabilities or heavy medication requirements. It would be a pleasure to watch over your critters :) (even some exotics like birds, reptiles and rodents) Im currently looking for some type of part-time job, but in the meantime, my schedule is VERY open. Ill soon be moving but ill still continue sitting! Pet sitting is my main and favorite gig of all time. Ill be moving back to my apartment with less animals but I currently have 6 dogs in my family. Im in charge of bathing, nails, teeth, feeding, and bathroom pickup. If meds are required Im usually the one to administer those as well. (Ive even got my own exotic animals) I usually watch animals in the clients home as I have 2 dogs and a cat of my own, sometimes that can be problematic depending on the clients animal. Ill live in an apartment with a fenced yard and a dog park. Id prefer to be a walker or an in-home sitter. Ive got lots of experience and trust in both. Id have to make some serious adjustments to have a new animal in my home.

About: I love being around animals and taking care of them! I've been around dogs and cats all of my life. I have experience with walking, feeding, and giving medication in pill form. I can't wait to meet your furry companion! 🩷 I'm currently working part time and I have plenty of extra time to care for your pet! I'm available any day of the week I have a fenced in backyard and I live in a neighborhood with a dog park! I have one male dog who is 2 years old
About: New to Rover but not to loving pets😊 I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is for owners to feel comfortable while they’re away. I provide regular updates, photos, and quick responses so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I take the time to learn their individual needs and personality. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to details, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and ages. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. ***Available for house sitting throughout Waxahachie, Midlothian, Mansfield, Arlington, and the Dallas area. I’m a proud Army Veteran that works from home. My schedule is flexible. So, plenty of time for bonding and cuddles with your fur baby! I have a huge gated backyard for your fur baby(s) to stretch. I also have a sweet doodle that loves to play as well! Let the fun begin!
About: Hi. I'm a born caregiver and that includes pets. Until their passing recently, I was my housemates dog walker, caregiver, sitter and dog uncle since 2010. While they were her dogs she routinely joked she was jealous they were far more affectionate with me. :) They were fed regularly, walked, played with, I put proper meds in their food, and often they fall asleep next to me. I also was my friends first choice for dog sitting and even pet sit for a CEO and SVP. In this job, you're not doing this to get rich, you do this because you CARE for animals. Because I cannot have pets where I live at, this allows me to be around pets to enjoy their company as pets have a way of making me smile and enjoy life even a bit more. I will treat your pet as my own and send you lots of pics and updates so you know your furry family member is cared for like you would. I currently work as a video/film editor as well as animation and music production so doing this PT allows me to continue that dream while getting exercise and being around pets as I cannot really have them at my place. I listen to your directions and will treat your pet with the same care and love I would want with a pet if I had one. While others say one thing and do another, you really can trust that I'm honest, loving, caring. I can also help medicate if I'm placing meds inside their foods.

Kamryn provided in-home care for our four cats with twice-daily visits over a 10-day period. This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She took wonderful care of our cats, and it was obvious when we returned home that they had been well looked after. Kamryn clearly has a genuine love for animals, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We especially appreciated the daily updates and photos she sent—they were a highlight of each day and reassured us that everything was going well. We are extremely happy with Kamryn's care and would gladly book her again in the future. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
