Initially, I was a bit nervous about dropping off my 8 month old pup, Blue, just because I wasn't entirely sure how he would do in a new environment without me and other dogs present. Blue settled in super fast and had the best day! Alex was reassuring and sent updates throughout the day with pictures and videos that were so appreciated. Blue was in awesome hands and I'm so grateful he had fun with new friends, lots of space to run around, and an awesome caregiver in Alex and his family. Blue can't wait to return and I feel so grateful to have a trusted and safe home for my pup when we need to be apart. Thank you, Alex!”

“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

“I don’t trust anyone else boarding my border collie while I’m away for work. She can be tricky because she’s really shy and anxious at first and then when she is comfortable she is as rambunctious and energetic as you would expect a 1 y/o BC puppy to be. I never have any doubts that these guys will give her the attention, training, care and love that she needs when I have to leave her.”

About: I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like. I am a stay at home dad with my 5 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed. I have a small fenced area for bathroom breaks, but the rest of my property (half an acre) is not fenced in. My own dogs are allowed off leash because they are trained, but for safety I would not allow rover dogs off leash in the non fenced portion of the yard.

But most importantly, I make sure that they're safe and happy, while waiting for their favorite person to come back to them. My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was young, especially cats and dogs. I have since grown my experience into hedgehogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and snakes. I have a wide variety of knowledge, and plan on expanding that throughout my life. I have experience with oral medication administration as well as injections. I can care for puppies and elderly dogs that are deaf or blind. My open schedule makes me a perfect fit for animals that have separation anxiety as someone is always home. I’m open to taking other animals as well, birds, hamsters, snakes, hedgies as long as their enclosures and food were provided I’d be delighted to care for your little furry, scaled or spiked friend. I am a stay at home mom of three young children (2 school aged), who love and respect animals as much as I do. I have a very open schedule to entertain and care for your pet as I do my own. I live in an old historical home, with a large clean yard for bathroom visits, we often take walks as a family and would love to include your four legged member. I have the ability to do a morning, midday and evening feeding schedule, lots of potty breaks and enrichment. We also have access to a local dog park, and little treats for our furry friends. I’d also like to address that I have small children, 5,4 and 2 who each love and care for animals. They have learned young to always respect animals however I’d never put your animal in a position that they were alone or unsupervised with the children for accident prevention. I am also currently long term boarding a family members dog who is very friendly and loves showing our guests around.

About: i have raised and trained german shepherd from puppy to 8 months old, handled poodle, bulldog, toy, trained few dogs while also dog sitting, have fun items for dogs to enjoy, large pullers. ive studied dog training for few years as well. f you want to give you dog a puppy spa spil day i sure can do that during there stay to. i kee lg recording of behaviors, training potty, and anything need. have trained a past service dog as wel so know how important dog can be to your family. I am disabled working-wise, but I have had a service dog for myself and handled a lot of dogs. I love making sure they have a PAWSitive experience. i have lot of time to train and keep a dog ec day and always make sure furbabys are cared for. only family other then me round sister who does most other stuff needed which gives me lt of home time and walks time to enjoy dogs trai and make sure every pet is well cared for i never would take on a booking if i was unable or if could not insure all time needed for your pet. and with pst sd time iv experienced 8 full to months form 8 weeks old. if you have moe then oe dog i can adjust for paire pets yard space leashed have long lead as well for free play and run around, walking spaces, other play areas parks yards. will have fence soon as possible starting after winter is over. update profile after do have. equipment and fun things and including adding on as go. have experience with pet sitting and raising mouthy and chew happy puppy.

About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. About: I’ve been a pet care taker for 10 years off and on. I’ve had pets all my life. I work from home so they’re never alone for long! I work from home so I am able to play with the animals frequently and let them go outside to potty. They love the all day attention! I have lots of treats to offer and I’m always buying new toys for them. We always have fresh water and feeding is morning and evening.

About: I have loved and worked with animals for as long as I can remember. I have always had pets in my house until now and would love to be able to help someone out while also spending time with their best furry friend(s). I love walking and being outside just as much as I love animals so your pets will definitely get the exercise that they need while still being carefully cared for and loved of course. As far as experience goes, I have always had at least one dog and cat in my home for the full 22 Years I have been alive. I have volunteered and worked on farms and in other animal care facilities with various animals and pets. I have watched others pets in their homes as well as mine numerous times and am always looking for new opportunities to meet and get to know more pets. I am currently unemployed besides doing care for Rover so my schedule is pretty much open. I love animals and caring for them as well as making sure they're happy.
