“This was our first boarding experience with Hiedi, and it could not have gone better. I was concerned my dog might be anxious being left overnight, but much the opposite. He was over the top excited to play with the other boarder and day care dogs. Hiedi keeps her experienced professional eyes on them, so you never need to worry one bit. He came home wonderfully tired out, but more importantly happy. He ate well, slept well, and was clearly very comfortable there. He wants to know when we are going back!! I will be using Hiedi again. Well, by the time we went to pick Winnie up we were worried she wouldn't want to come home with us. Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

About: I've always had dogs & cats growing up. Recently, my husband & I rescued a puppy from North Carolina, named Mack. He is the light of our life. In July of 2025, we had to put our 14 year old dog, Roxie, down.. This was very depressing as she was the best girl. I love to be around dogs, and want to ensure they get the best care, whether that be walking or playing ball/fetch, or just snuggles. I hope you reach out for any needs! I currently work full time about 20 minutes from my home, which allows me a greater radius to care for your loved one. I work M-F 8am-4pm (roughly), so I am available for any after work or weekend assistance. I have a fully fenced in yard for my dog to play in. We play ball multiple times throughout the day. About: Took care of animals via husbandry, socializing, feeding and watering, litter changing, etc.! Learned how to properly take care of animals, and how to make animals mostly happy. Also learned what health signs to look for when needed. I’m currently job hunting, so I have all the time to make sure dogs and cats are fed, watered, socialized for a while, and aren’t alone. About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

About: I’ve cared for family and friend’s pets for over 20 years. I’ve been a foster mom and I have 5 dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently working part time so I am able to spend plenty of time playing and walking with your fur baby as needed during the week and sometimes on weekends. “This was our first boarding experience with Hiedi, and it could not have gone better. I was concerned my dog might be anxious being left overnight, but much the opposite. He was over the top excited to play with the other boarder and day care dogs. Hiedi keeps her experienced professional eyes on them, so you never need to worry one bit. He came home wonderfully tired out, but more importantly happy. He ate well, slept well, and was clearly very comfortable there. He wants to know when we are going back!! I will be using Hiedi again. So nice to feel you can go away and your dog is cared for just as well as in your own home.”

About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: For any and all services I provide I will be seeking guidance from the pet owner for preferred handling as people treat their pets differently (allowed on furniture, leash vs off leash, feeding times, etc.) Most of my pet sitting experience has been at their home and i have cared for up to four dogs and two cats (plus chickens and fish). I have also babysat for a cat and a few different dogs at my place. I enjoy an active lifestyle and live near state lands so lots of hiking is usually on the agenda (for dogs anyway). I recently put down my aging cat and have found life is lonely without him, but I am not ready to replace him just yet. Rover seems like a great way to get my fix and earn some extra money along the way. I work full time Monday through Friday and have hour long lunch breaks if midday breaks are needed for your pets. Weekends are for serious play! I live on a low traffic road near a state forest. Access to trails from my back door and a large (unfenced) yard to roam. When staying in someone’s home I treat it like my own with care.

But Amanda was amazing, brushing it off with a smile and total confidence. She knows her stuff, having worked with veterinary’s practice, and made us feel quite comfortable leaving our pups with her. She sent us daily texts and pics, which was a relief. The dogs clearly loved her, and by the time we picked them up, they were chill, happy, and obviously well-fed and exercised. We’re already looking forward to booking Amanda again.”
