About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have hands-on experience working as a veterinary assistant, where I safely handled dogs and cats of all sizes, administered medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision, monitored pets during recovery, and learned to recognize signs of illness or distress. I'm also experienced with senior pets, puppies and kittens, and pets that need a little extra patience or special care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, someone to stick to a medication schedule, or simply lots of love and attention while you're away, I'll treat them like one of my own. I'm currently taking a gap year before beginning my bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology Management at Auburn University. My availability may vary slightly from day to day, but I keep my calendar up to date and always communicate clearly. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or extra attention while you're away, I'm committed to providing reliable, compassionate care. With my experience as a veterinary assistant, I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including seniors and pets that require medication. During every visit, I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise or playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of love and attention. About: I've had all types of pets growing up. Have even bottle-fed multiple litters of stray kittens! I'm very responsible and reliable, especially when it comes to taking care of someone’s animals! My schedule is typically pretty open! I part-time bartend so on my off days, I am available all day long! And on the days I go into work (depending on which shift I’m working), usually half of my day is wide open, as well! I am able to travel to your home and check on and/or walk/exercise your pet. As a veterinary student at Auburn, my weekdays are generally structured around classes from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I'm available for early morning visits and walks before class, as well as evening visits after class. My weekends are much more flexible, allowing me to spend extra time with pets through walks, drop-in visits, or extended care. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life, and I enjoy making time to give each pet the attention, exercise, and affection they need. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care your pet needs. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while respecting your home and leaving it just as I found it. As a DVM student with veterinary clinic experience, I'm comfortable recognizing changes in a pet's behavior or health and will communicate any concerns promptly. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have a lot of experience administering medications and shots to all dogs. I have walked all types of breeds and have sat for dogs with dietary restrictions. I currently work a full time job in Auburn, but I would be able to come in the mornings, on my lunch break, and after work. I would walk dogs in designated walking areas and depending on if there is a fence available I will let them play in a yard.

About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve been around animals all my life. Family and friends have trusted me for all of their pet-sitting needs for years. I currently have two dogs. I’ve dog sat dogs of all ages in my home and in the owners’ homes. Last fall, I witnessed a man dumping two dogs near my home. One of them was pregnant. We were able to raise the puppies and give them and the mom to loving homes. We kept the other dog and now her and the chiweenie that we already owned are best friends. I also have experience with special needs dogs. My chiweenie recently lost his left eye after another dog jumped on him. I've learned to be patient with him as he regains confidence and navigates everyday life with one eye. I am a full-time student at college. I do not have a job but I am looking for a part-time gig to do along with pet care. My classes aren't all day so I would be able to care for pets in the morning and as needed in the later afternoon/night. In the client’s home, I can feed, water, play with and follow whatever specific instructions I’m given. I can walk your dog on a leash and make sure they always have water.

About: I have always loved animals. I started walking my neighbors dog when I was 15. I have dog sat for many ranging from family, friends, neighbors, and mutuals. I am a recent Auburn grad and do not currently have a full time job. Not many jobs offer me a flexible schedule like this does and I am trying to save money and keep my self busy post-grad. I am always available unless otherwise noted on my calendar. I do not have a dog in Auburn, only when I travel to Foley to stay with family is there a dog in the house. (which is a lot!!) right now I am a collage student working once a week at the hospital. and classes only Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of free time. for house sitting i have a lovely 5 month old doodle that loves all animals and is available to play if wanted and if not that’s okays to. i love to go on walks to just chill and snuggle anything that your pet needs or likes to do!

New to Rover, but would treat your four legged best friend like it was my own pet! I am new to the Opelika area and between jobs. Currently, I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and can make any day of the week work. I do have two dogs of my own at home, that I would need to make sure are taken care of , but currently can make any day or time of day work for your animals schedule. I will gladly follow any rules or guidelines you have set for your fur baby so they can continue their routine when you are not home. If they need to go on walks, or just play in the backyard!
