“We booked Lisa last minute and she made it a point to come to our house to meet Murphy prior to the visits. Her visits went very well and she provided us with great info and photos. Murphy loved her! We’ll definitely book with Lisa in the future.”

“Monica was absolutely amazing taking care of our pups and giving us the ease of mind knowing they were well taken care of on our wedding day. She left very detailed notes about her visits and took care of them like they were her own. We appreciate it so much and will definitely be booking her again if we need dog sitting in the future!”

“Rachel did a great job taking care of Remy and spoiling him while we were away. Our pup is very timid and he did great with her. She also hauled in quite a few packages that arrived earlier than expected before they could get soaked with snow!”

“Katherine did great with our 3 YO Lab and our rescued 8MO newly rescued pup! She did an extra "meet & greet" since we adopted the pup after we had booked the drop-ins for one dog. She was on time, sent multiple photos to assure us the two were doing great, and left an extra note to let us know of a small problem the pup had while we were away. Great 1st assignment!”

“Morgan was absolutely phenomenal! We have some older cats who require medication and she was a pro! Will definitely be reaching out again the next time we leave town.”

“Alexandra did a fantastic job feeding my cats. It has been difficult to find reliable pet sitters but Alexandra was amazing. It was easy to communicate with her throughout the entire time, from booking her services to getting our key back.”

“Dawn is outstanding! We were nervous to let someone into our home to check on our two kitties each day during our two-week vacation. Dawn made the entire process easy and comforting from beginning to end. After the meet and great, we knew our kitties were in good hands. She provided detailed and personalized updates each day and sent photos. While our cats are typically apprehensive of strangers, Dawn took the time to develop a connection with both of them, adjusting food requirements, brushing and playing with them. She even watered the house plants for us. We never worried for a minute while away. We feel very fortunate to have found Dawn and will certainly recommend her to our family and friends, Thank you, Dawn!!”

“Jessica was fantastic! She really listened to our concerns beforehand and took everything we said into account. She gave us detailed reviews for each visit and was friendly to both us and our pets. We will absolutely be hiring her for petsitting again!”

“We just returned from a 2 week trip, and Cory provided care for our 5 cats. He did a fabulous job! 3 of the cats were elusive, but the other 2 warmed up to him. He saw to all of their needs, and also fed the birds and squirrels for us. He did all we asked of him, and I was confident that they were in good hands. I highly recommend Cory, and will reach out to him for future needs. Thank you, Cory for the great job.”

“Molly was so great with our dog! She was a great communicator and even let me book last minute! She took a ton of pictures of Redford and gave me a very detailed report. Highly recommend!”
“Troy helped us out in a pinch today and was able to add an additional drop-in at the last minute. Our golden retriever has a mind of her own and he successfully navigated her routine. I will definitely contact Troy again.”

About: Hi, I am Raelyn! I work for my sister’s business, HoneyK9 Training in Minnesota, and recently graduated college at Drake University! I have taken care of many animals through drop ins, house sitting, and walks. I have been relied on to feed, exercise, and love on the animals I am watching! I have a full time job and I work part time in the weekends! I always have some extra time that I would love to be spending with animals At home, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I recently just adopted a cat! In my clients home if I am doing a drop in, I will make sure the dog gets let out at least 2 times before I leave, feed them if I am instructed to, and give them love. For house sitting, I have had a schedule where I can leave the house for my job, not for past a certain amount of hours, I make sure the dog is getting outside and getting fed. For walks, I have typically done 30 minute walks, making sure the dog goes potty, and is getting their exercise in for the walk!
About: I’ve been helping out with my family’s dogs all my life, and now that I’m living on my own in my adult life I’ve been lucky enough to rescue 2 sweet fur babies! Now that I’m settled in, I’m looking to spread my love of animals further by helping out around my community! (I’ll always send pet pictures upon request 😇) I currently work from home full time. My job is pretty flexible, so I’m able to leave throughout the day as needed. With my dog, we go on about 3 walks a day! I have a front and backyard - the backyard has a sturdy post with a long leash attached to it where a dog can be tied up with plenty of leash length to run around! In the house, my cat and dog roam around freely all day and night. I do have a dog crate, but we don’t typically use it!
“Brad was top notch, we’re so happy we found him! Our dogs were happy and healthy when we got back home from vacation. Brad was punctual and we didn’t have to worry at all with our dogs in his hands. In fact, we immediately booked again with Brad and look forward to having him back. Thank you so much, Brad!”

About: Hello! My name is Sarah, but I go by Sam. Thank you so much for your consideration! Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved having pets. There was hardly a time when I didn’t have some kind of companion in my life. Growing up, I had a variety of different pets, but most of my experience is with dogs, cats, birds, and rodents! However, I love all kinds of creatures (I’ve even had tarantulas)! These days, my boyfriend and I share an Aussie named Newman that we love to spoil. I’m a former doggy daycare attendant and dog groomer, so I have some experience handling pets of varying energy levels and temperaments. I also have some experience with pets that have special needs. This is my only job and my main source of income (I do sometimes volunteer my free time with Iowa Bird Rehabilitation doing transport), so when I’m sitting your pup, I’m sitting FULL TIME! It’s something I enjoy doing, and I’ve found that I get the most joy out of spending time taking care of client’s pets. Some day I do hope to go to school for something animal behavior or social service related, but I’m still trying to figure that out! I’m very understanding and adaptable to whatever schedule you’ve got set for your pets, so that they still have the sense of security that comes from having a routine! During house sittings, I ALWAYS offer overnight care to ensure your pets have someone to spend time with them around the clock. I always keep a close eye when at home with pets to ensure nothing goes awry, and I always make sure they are safely secured if they need to be left alone for a period of time. Water is always made available unless otherwise specified. I love to spoil pets with treats when I can but I’m very good at following instructions if they have a strict diet, physical limitations, medications, etc.

Waveland Woods pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lisa was so great! She sent us updates and pictures of our kitties each visit and even brought them extra toys to spend time playing with them every day! One of our cats is very shy, but Lisa quickly built his trust and made friends. It was so nice knowing we had someone to trust to take good care of them while we were gone.

I can’t say enough good things about Jenea. I had a health emergency and was admitted to the hospital. I contacted her very short notice and she stepped right in to help me out with my kitty. Not only did she take care of my kitty while I was in the hospital, she brought my trash can in from the curb and brought my mail in. She was a godsend in my time of need. I highly recommend her to take care of your fur baby!

This was our first time using Rover. The entire process was simple, easy and the match with Jackson and our girls was great. Normally, I worry when they go to the kennel for the weekend and wondering if they get the outside time. Jackson sent pictures of our girls each visit and gave amazing updates. We will absolutely be having Jackson come back.
