“Jessica is very caring and attentive! She kept me in the loop by sending pics and updates every day. My dogs seemed very calm when I picked them up, which isn't always the case with different dog care providers. I'm really happy with how the experience went and I'm sure my dogs will spend time with her (and Calvin) again!”

“Leaving your dog for a couple of nights can be stressful, especially when your dog is your soul dog, but Suzanne made the entire experience so easy. From the moment Yarrow arrived, I could tell she was in great hands. I honestly think Yarrow believed she was on her own little vacation lol. She absolutely adored Suzanne, her wonderful kids, and the other dogs. Every update showed a happy, relaxed dog living her best life. One of the things I appreciated most was Suzanne’s communication. She sent updates, pictures, and little stories that made me smile and let me know exactly how Yarrow was doing. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your dog as if they’re her own, look no further. Five stars simply aren’t enough. I’d give 10 stars if I could!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”
“Lindsay and her husband took great care of our dog for the long weekend. They were so sweet to her, very communicative and I knew she was in good hands with Lindsay’s previous vet tech experience. We’ll be using them again next time we need a pet sitter ☺️”

“Samantha and her family took great care of my pup Dyno. Samantha sent me pictures of Dyno walking, playing and having fun. She made me feel at ease knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Dani is great with dogs. Our dog Hart spent the week there while we were on vacation. We got pictures and updates every day and he enjoyed his time there. Dani is conveniently located for us and very kind. Your dog will be in great hands!”

“Our puppy had a great time staying at Brittany’s house for the day. I felt he was in good hands while we were gone for the day. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you Brittany!”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“Daniella was great with our dog and we were sent daily updates/pictures. She was also very flexible with our schedule. We will definitely have our dog stay with her in the future.”

“This was my dog Hank's 2nd stay with Sydney. She took good care of him, including tending to his paws when they were irritated by the salt on the walkways, and her communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this sitter.”

“Cailey took care of my senior cat for an extended time and took great care of her. Cailey kept me updated on how my cat was doing, including for a period of time where my cat wasn’t eating as much. My cat will do this on occasion so I wasn’t concerned, and appreciated Cailey noticing and checking in with me about that. I would absolutely work with Cailey again, thank you!”

“If I could give 5,000 stars I would… Elizabeth and her family are absolutely wonderful! I have never used Rover or left my fur babies with a stranger before and needless to say, I was a MESS! We had a family trip in Ohio we couldn’t miss and Elizabeth watched our new/rescue 11 month old American Bully Huey! Elizabeth was wonderful from the time we met and even when I dropped him off crying my eyes out with anxiety! She sent photo updates constantly, they treated him as if he was their own, giving him all the love and attention!! He got to play with their two pups, kids, and enjoy there wonderful fenced in backyard! They walked him and even spoiled him with a car ride to get a pup cup! Huey pretty much was on his own fun filled vacation! Elizabeth even went as far as to drop him off at our house and safely crate him the night we flew in, so he could be home when we got home. This was wonderful! She even offered to take our other dog out for a potty break when she came over to drop Huey off. She is absolutely wonderful, I have nothing but the most amazing things about her and her family! I truly can not thank you enough!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Hopefully we will be seeing you soon and Huey can visit!”

“We were thrilled that our aging dog received excellent care as we traveled. Dana has a big heart for visiting pets. She sent us photos to see how our dog was doing. Her back yard is an enormous area safely fenced. We will use her services again. We were extremely satisfied with the loving care she gave our dog”

“Karen was amazing! This was my first time leaving Hazel Grace with anyone other than family, and I was so nervous. Karen immediately put me at ease, sent daily photos and updates, and took wonderful care of Hazel. She even took the time during our meet and greet to make sure Hazel and her pup were comfortable together, and they became instant friends. Hazel had a great time, and I truly appreciated all of Karen’s care and advice. I would absolutely book with her again and recommend her 100%! 🐶💕”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
