“Savannah is amazing! I asked to watch Ophelia 3 hours before I had to go to work and she got back to me within an hour and let me bring Ophelia over even though it was last minute! Not only is she flexible and reliable but she took beautiful care of my pup. Despite Ophelia’s excitement to see me she still was clearly very fond of Savannah and wanted to say goodbye. I think I’d be doing my own dog a disservice to not allow her back to Savannah’s house. THANK YOU SO MUCH, SAVANNAH! Ophelia and I are so happy to have met you. :)”

About: I'm especially good with timid animals, and I love making them feel more at ease. I have a soft presence and a lot of patience. I'm good at reading dog language. I'm super responsible, so you can count on me to follow your dog's preferred daily schedule and to send you updates. I work from home, in a neighborhood that's pleasant for dog walking, and we have a fenced backyard. I grew up with small dogs, wanted to be a vet. I've cared for my current doggo for 9 years. I work from home, and my time AWAY from home is flexible. I can definitely be here as your dog is getting used to our home. About your dog's experience in our home: My home office is on the main floor, and I'm aware of all activity in my small-ish house. Your dog can rest on the sofa, futon, rugs, or the big dog bed--or in a kennel if they prefer. I have a fenced yard with room to run. Our friendly 10-year-old, 35-pound boxer mutt, Kiri, enjoys playing with small dogs. But she's not at all pushy. :-) About caring for timid animals: I had a deep, deep bond with a very timid cat, and I just have a super soft spot in my heart for them. I had a shy young kiddo. One of my "day jobs" is a coach for introverted people: I help people honor their introversion, including their need for quiet, calm, and solitude. About my profile photos: I'm the one in the family who takes the photos, so it's nearly impossible to find a photo of ME and Kiri. :-} I include some photos of our house and yard (kids' faces blurred) to give you a sense of our space. About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is calm and pet friendly space where animals can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

About: Dogs and cats have always been part of my world, and I’ve always connected with them deeper than most! Coming into adulthood, my first fur baby was “adopted” from my grandparents. Since then, I’ve adopted two fur babies, become a fur step mama and fostered several others! Caring for your pets the way I care for my own is my passion and a non-negotiable in my work. My current clients often refer to me as “Aunt Nae” when it comes to their fur babies, THAT is how much I mean to them and them to me! The only job I have is remote, and as necessary! So I am able to be around with and for your pets 24/7. One of my standard practices is to only leave your pet(s) for 4 hours or less, unless previously given the pet parents permission. Your pets will be treated as my own would, while following your house rules! If they’re allowed on furniture, I’ll snuggle them on the couch and in the bed! If they’re not, I respect that too! Used to getting up and walking at 5am? I’ll keep that routine! My goal is to maintain their “normal” while you are away and to be the best stand in “auntie” or caregiver for them.

About: Hello! I am a stay at home mom to a 1.5 year old little girl and I am looking to make some extra cash for our family. I've owned dogs since I was a little girl. I have had two labs, one Boston terrier, one pug, and one chihuahua. My husband and I have two dogs of our own, a Mini Australian Shepard and a Lab/Dachshund mix. About: I’ve been a dog owner all of my life and always hated it when I had to kennel them for several hours and/or overnights. Always tried to look for people to help out with walks or play time. This is a great resource for those pets in need. Just looking to help your loved one get through those long days alone. I have a flexible job that I spend most of my time at home. It gives me the opportunity to do other things that I need done. I’m available most days. I have a large fenced in backyard and a dog of my own (Calvin).
