“Mrs. Charlie is truly the best! She goes above and beyond caring for our puppy and takes extra precautions (honestly, mostly for my peace of mind!) to make sure Benny’s time away from us is always a success. We were away for a full week, and Benny was only 6 months old at the time—she was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding, especially knowing that many of the dogs and experiences he was exposed to were completely new to him. Benny absolutely loved playing with his new friends and going to the dog park with Mrs. Charlie. She kept us informed the entire time, sent daily pictures, and made us feel completely confident that he was safe, happy, and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be using her again!”

“Heather and James took the best care of our babies for the day! We also asked them to take our older girl last minute and they were super accommodating. They looked like they had the best day. Murray is the sweetest most welcoming boy and Heather and James are so easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for your fur babies!”
“Micah took wonderful care of Momo. As an avid user of Rover, I can say that she is professional and went above and beyond for me and my dog. My dog suffers from separation anxiety, but she made sure he was comfortable during his Rover stay. She responds and communicates well. I work crazy hours and she was able to accommodate us when we had a last minute cancellation. Throughout my dog’s stay, she gave me updates and plenty of pictures. Her service is top notch!”

“Janyssa is amazing! She takes such good care of my little guy during the day. She provides updates throughout the day and lets me know of any concerns. My buddy loves to visit her, and he’s always a happy boy when I pick him up! Thank you Janyssa for caring for my little one!”

“Breanne and her family are amazing! Our pup loves playing with her dogs, and they are excited to see each other when we drop off. The daily pictures are also a treat to receive.”

“We've booked with Imelda about 5 times now for overnight stays and daycare for Gracie our Jack Russell terrier. Imelda is very friendly, organized and obviously loves dogs! Gracie is well cared for and eager to meet the other 2 or 3 dogs that are usually there. It's great to know that we have a safe and happy place for Gracie to stay when the need arises.”

“Excellent care for a my dog that is apprehensive about leaving his home. It made us feel good to see pictures of Scout cuddling on the couch and walking with Zeus! Thank you for the excellent care.”

“I feel so lucky to have found Autumn and Daniel (and Arlo of course). Our puppy can be needy and high energy but they took amazing care of her and she loved the day! Will definitely use them again!”

“Taylor and her family were amazing! Our pup loved them and their dog, Hailey. My wife and I needed to go to Longmont for the day, and we dropped our pup off at 10am and picked her up at 8pm. Taylor provided potty and feeding updates, and sent some cute photos to us. We will definitely be utilizing her services again!”

“How can you tell when you’ve found a great pet sitter? Your dog can’t wait to get out of the car and rushes to their door! Gracie absolutely loves coming here. ❤️”

“Micki was amazing! Sal had an amazing time at her place. She was very accommodating and made sure we were both on the same page. She communicated very efficiently and always made sure to send pictures. Will definitely rebook with her again.”

“Left our girl for the afternoon and she had fun playing with another dog and being part of the family there. They let us know she was doing well. They seem very experienced watching the dogs.”

About: Just 15 minutes from Denver International Airport! Countless dogs have been in my life since I was 3 years old! From my own Yorkie pups, to my neighbor’s Labrador’s, I’ve gained experience with loving, training, and supporting animals through every paw-step of their life. I have experience with newborn puppies (from their mother giving birth to 8 weeks old and longer!) to the delicate sunset years of seniors. From feeding, to walking, to grooming, I can tell you that every dog is different, with various needs and wants, just like humans! Once I learn what your furbaby needs, I won’t rest until they have it. Some pets have allergies, some pets have enormous amounts of energy, but all pets need love! From the moment I wake up, pets are a part of my life! I have a remote job that allows me to spend all day with your furry friends and adhere to whatever they need. Im only one bark away when your pup is around! Trust is the first step to any animal relationship. With my 20 years of experience, I have developed a keen eye for dog body language. Adapting to their mood and knowing how to keep them safe in correlation to how they feel is my number one priority. On walks, I will be sure to check how your pup feels every step. I will approach, avoid, or distract them when the situation calls for it. During house sitting and drop-ins, I will learn your rules for the house and apply them with as much love as you do! From going outside to lounging indoors, your pet will have just as much safety and support as when you’re home! I have crate trained dogs, walked dogs leashed and non-leashed, and dealt with multiple temperaments. Whatever your dog is used to, I can easily adapt to them.
“Heather was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I needed a place for our dog to stay all day, and we reached out to Heather extremely last minute. She was so quick to accept and was very flexible and accommodating with our drop off and pickup needs. Obi came home super happy and tired from playing all day! We will definitely use her in the future.”

“Needed someone to watch my kitten for a few hours while I was at school. Kendra was really nice and accommodating and provided pictures, even during her short visit. Will book again! :)”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
