About: Our family has always had pets. I have been training dogs since I was 10 years. I have been taking care of friends’ pets since I was in high school. I also have experience with snakes, parrots, ferrets, horses, farm animals, guinea pigs, and other pets. I have 10 acres with some of it fenced in for dog exercise areas. I am an animal lover and believe all pets should be in the house as a family member and trained as a good citizen. Engaged not caged! 😁 I am skilled in emergency medical techniques that may prevent or save pets. I believe in safety first. I am a retired firefighter so I am usually home. If you want your pet to be safe and sound in a home rather than caged in a kennel, then give me a call. Thanks for looking!! I am retired, so I need a way to fill my days. Playing and loving on pets is the perfect activity for this animal lover. I have several fenced in yards, including a potty yard. We have obstacle course and kiddie pool if needed. We love to cuddle on the couch or bed. Playtime is a must.
About: I love all animals but know how to be respectful of them as well. I have worked in the vets office and know basic animal husbandry, as well as worked with daycare centers and know basic training skills. I am currently a stay at home mom and would love to help with your animals so I don't bring any more home for myself! I have 2 dogs and a cat that thinks he is a dog. I have a yard for all of them to roam as well as land for them to explore.
“Charlie is absolutely tremendous! She watched our dog, Ava, while we were away at a retreat, and we couldn't have asked for better support. Charlie made everything possible and went out of her way to ensure Ava was well cared for and that we felt completely at ease. She is truly awesome, and we felt so supported throughout the entire stay. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and thoughtful sitter!”
About: I bring real, hands-on experience with all types of dogs—from high-energy and stubborn personalities to protective guardian breeds. I understand that every dog is different, and I adjust my care to match their needs, not the other way around. As a dog owner myself, I treat every pet like family, providing structure, patience, and plenty of love. My own two dogs are friendly and well-socialized, making my home a safe and positive environment for dogs who enjoy companionship. Being a stay-at-home mom allows me to be present with your pet all day. My routine already includes caring for my own dogs, so adding yours means more walks, playtime, and attention—not less. Your pet will be part of a calm, loving home where they’re included in daily life, not just ‘checked on. Your pet will be welcomed into my home like part of the family. I’m home full-time, so they won’t be left alone for long periods. My days naturally include walks, playtime, and caring for my own dogs, so your pet will get plenty of exercise, structure, and affection. My two friendly, well-socialized dogs also provide great companionship for dogs who enjoy being around others.
About: Aside from my own dogs that I've had my whole life, I have also watched friends' and neighbors' dogs since middle school. I've taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds, and honestly, there hasn't been a single one I have not loved. I take pride in saying that I will watch your dog as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs who have medical conditions as well, such as arthritis, seizures, restricted diets, etc. I'm currently just a stay-at-home mom of one baby boy and one fur baby boy. We love getting out of the house every day and walking, or going to the park, and we always love to have some extra company! I am a stay-at-home mom so that leaves me a lot of time to play with your fur babies and love on them. This also allows me to follow any schedules that your dog may want or need to follow. Also, my dog loves to go out back, and run around or sunbathe, very often so that means that there are very frequent potty break for your dogs as well! I have fenced yard and a super active fur baby and a toddler. My dog is always happy to run circles or play tug of war, and my toddler is always happy to throw a Frisbee or ball for any and all dogs (whether they are interested or not). As for me, I am happy to offer cuddles and companionship for your fur babies. I know it's hard to leave your dogs behind, but it is also hard for them as well. My goal is to make them feel as at home as possible. For example, dogs often do not want to eat when they miss their owners, so I try to alleviate this by adding rice or chicken to their food (with parents permission, of course).
“Claudia and her family is so sweet! I can tell they take care of any fur babies that come and stay. Thank you so much for taking in my Queen Bea!”

“Marisa took such good care of Charlie during our short time in Denver. I booked her last minute and she was so responsive and communicative. I felt very comfortable having Charlie with her. Marisa sends pictures throughout the day. I highly recommend Marisa as your dog sitter!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog for 14 years and love to spend time with my dog, I also do dog sitter with Rover for a couple years and love to do this. A dog was my first pet and I have lots of experience taking care of them. I have dogsitted many times for family and friends, and was happy to do so. I am also able to look after elderly dogs and puppy also. Now my dog just passed away last year, I am very sad but I still love to watch other dogs! Any day of the week works for me including weekends and certain holidays. Some days I do have appointments though, and am not able to work. My backyard is fully fenced off with a decent amount of room for pets to run around and do their business. There is a pet door in the basement leading to the backyard that is always accessible. Within the home there is my dog who is friendly and not hostile towards other dogs.
“My Girl Scout was so happy to be with other dogs and now she is passed out from all the play time! Thank you so much Heather for the attention and care you gave her!”

“Sharon is really amazing, so nice and welcoming and takes good care of dogs. Cacao our puppy had a great time with her. He played in her ranch with her lovely dogs and saw the horses I could tell when I picked him up that he really had a good time. By the time we got home he was tired from all the playing and slept right away. Will definitely be using her again.”

“How can you tell when you’ve found a great pet sitter? Your dog can’t wait to get out of the car and rushes to their door! Gracie absolutely loves coming here. ❤️”

“Aly did such an amazing job with my pups! She made me and them feel so comfortable and was great at communicating. Will definitely use again and highly recommend. Thank you Aly!!”

“Penny had a great time with Kari and her dogs! Kari was great at keeping me updated and was flexible with drop off and pick up time. She was happy to work with our schedule.”

“Briana took Nessie last minute for the day when I realized we may be out longer than anticipated. She was extremely responsive and understanding and we would absolutely use her again if needed! Nessie came home happy and tired pup!”

About: As a retired animal lover; I have had small to medium dogs of my own and watched over many pets over out the years. I am attentive to details and ensure all animals under my care get the proper attention, love, and engagement. I have a moderate size home in Green Valley Ranch in a quiet residential neighborhood (close to the airport for easy drop offs and pick ups), the place has a small not fenced out door patio. There is also a small dog friendly park right across the street from my home. I hope you will consider me to take care of your fur babies. I am experienced, compassionate, and detail oriented and will ensure a quality care stay for your pet! I am retired and am flexible for most days of the week and weekend. Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
