She was able to give him his medicine/food and play with him, and was certain to make sure everything was done correctly. I loved all the pictures she took! Thank you again for being so wonderful and kind to our sweet kitty.”

“Corey was fantastic! She was very gentle and caring with my cats and quick to ask any questions if she needed any clarification. I have a cat who is scared of his own shadow and even he felt comfortable enough to interact with her! It’s incredibly evident how much she cares for animals and I am very pleased with how she cared for mine!”

About: I was raised with dogs since a little girl. I have done dog sitting for family and friends for the past 5 years and love it so much. Pet Care fits into my daily routine because I work from home full time and I'm able to give them all the attention and care that they need during their stay with me. I have a fenced yard and three other girl dogs that will keep your pet company. My back yard is dog friendly. I keep it clean with toys and dog beds. I currently work from home, I’m my own company owner and have flexible schedule. I’m available at anytime. And this is the reason I am open to same-day appointments as needed. I am 100%, a dog, an animal lover for me a furry pet is part of the family and I treat them as my own!

“Highly recommend! She pays extra attention to the doggos, learning their personalities. Very reliable. Did everything we asked and more. Will definitely use her again 🐾”

“Once again, Jillian did an amazing job taking care of my kitties. She updated me thoroughly and took many pictures while I was away. She was great with my shy cat. She’s always extremely trustworthy and great at what she does.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, for as long as I can remember. My dogs have always been like another member in my family. I’ve even fostered dogs who just needed a loving home to learn how to trust again before moving on to their forever homes. The comfort and companionship is what I love! I currently work from home so your pup will be provided with round the clock care and attention. I am not tied to my desk so I have the ability to take walks and truly spend time with your pup. I have a fenced yard and my own super friendly black lab. Your pup will get all of the attention and playtime they need at my home.
“Maria did such a great job with our dog while we were gone! Our little Ginger was happy and well cared for. I would recommend Maria to anyone who is looking for a trusting and caring sitter for your furry loved one!”

About: Hi there! I have 2 dogs at home, a husky and German Shepard. I’ve had experience with big and small dogs. Had 2 small dogs growing up as well. I’ve taken care of golden retrievers and labs before so any size dog is good with me. I am willing to be flexible with times and I am willing to work with you if there is anything specific that your dog needs! I love sports and being outdoors but I also am willing to stay inside and be with your pet as well! I love to go for hikes and walks and I’m also a softball player so I’m pretty good at throwing a ball! I currently work full-time. My calendar is up to date with my availability. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and would love to work something out! Have grown up with dogs, both large and small, I’ve grown accustomed to taking care of them. It’s important for the dogs to feel safe, especially in their own home but also if they’re visiting a new environment.
About: Hello! My name is Nieve, I have grown up around animals and always have taken care of dogs and cats for neighbors and friends. I have also had experience training dogs! I trained a black lab for the Guide dogs 3 years ago and she passed and is helping someone now! I have experience with all ages of animals. I have trained all my dogs, my current dog, Leo is well trained and lives with my family and I. I had taken care of my senior dogs which were a black lab and Great Dane, supporting them in using the bathroom, administering medications via food, as well as making them as comfortable in their environment while they rested. I love to play with them, take them on walks, give them treats and the love the need. I have babysat many dogs and cats during my time here on Rover, all amazing experiences with my clients and their furry friends. I am responsible in time management and responsive communication. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out! I am in college right now and work in a lab, but I am available for drop ins and walks during the week and on weekends. I currently live in a apartment in downtown Denver, lots of parks around for them to play and get their energy out and close places for them to go to the bathroom. I have no pets as of current in my apartment.
“Liv is the BEST ever. We left our 1 year old rescued Tabby in an empty house and Olivia provided drop in visits every day. She loved our baby, sent pictures, made sure he came home every day, cuddled with him, and filled his food and water. She even let us know he was getting lonely on the day we came home. Olivia is just awesome, we are so lucky we met her.”

About: Pet care is self care!! I’ve had pets since as long as I can remember and have gravitated towards animals (and they to me) my whole life. I am a registered nurse with 11 years of experience caring for critically ill people; and am taking a step away from full time patient care to care for my favorite people, ANIMALS! Caring for animals (and plants) really is my self care; it brings me so much joy to connect with and care for animals of all kinds. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs and plants (which is also an area expertise of mine). I have experience caring for and loving animals of all ages and can give oral medications, am comfortable giving medications via other routes if we discuss this process first. I’m not sure why I didn’t start a career with animals much sooner than now because I enjoy animals more so than I do people (I think this also stems from being at the bedside with people, especially during the pandemic). I will love and respect your pet as I would my own. I will respect your home and ensure the safety of your family by wearing a mask and washing my hands frequently. I look forward to being one of your animal’s favorite people. I have a very flexible schedule so let me know what works for you! With the exception of after 5 pm when our daughter winds down for bedtime. I will not be offering pet care services at my house because I have a dog that loves people but doesn’t enjoy being around other dogs I would be happy to care for your pets in your home as needed. If there are pets other than cats or dogs there will be a separate charge that I will request via Venmo since there is no way to charge for this on Rover. The cost of this will depend on the number of animals and the maintenance/care they will require, please reach out with questions. In addition, if there are requests for other house duties, I.e. shoveling, laundry I will add-on a surcharge per request via Venmo.
About: Hi there, my name is Savannah! Growing up, I had my two dogs, a Cocker Spaniel named Charlie, and a Shih Tzu named Rocky. Some of my best memories are hanging out with those lovely puppies. I’ve have taken care of my friends and family’s fur babies over the years and have always loved it. I take care and love them as if they’re my own. Additionally to playing and giving love to your fur baby, I can also administer medications to ensure your pet is happy and healthy. I am currently working part time remotely, giving me plenty of time to spend some quality time with your fur baby when you can’t. I have open availability for drop ins and house sitting for when you see fit. I am here to keep your fur baby happy and healthy while you’re out. I make sure that you know how your dog or cat is doing while also being attentive and making sure they are happy.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
